For me that's a security treat to Nigeria as a country, smugglers can easily buy their ways through there.Since there are no presence of security men there because of the poor productive.

No matter what, there had be a border control there, that kind of borders are all over west African but each host country stationed a border control, for example,Aflawo border,Togo/Ghana,Pulga border Ghana/Burkina Faso,Grande Basan border Ghana/Ivory Coast etc.Even Europe is not left out, France and Switzerland border, that is where you see people living in Lyon-France but they work in Switzerland, same in other part of the continent,North American and Asia.

When you pass through these borders, you find out that the both countries are living together but there must be a heavy security presence there, because they knew it is a security treat to their respective countries.

That is why you find it difficult to handle insurgency in Nigeria, because one can commit a crime and sneaks out through that porous borders we have in the north.I think FG need to do something regarding porous borders in the north.

Meanwhile, any one willing to learn French language can contact me,I offer online tuition.

Very simple, let them surrender their arms first, after that gather all of them in an isolation centre.Pretend as if you are going to grant them amnesty and inject all of them with a substance,(convid-19 virus) that will start killing them in three months time and release them, case close!

Although former Pres. Jonathan has moved on, Reno Omokri is still sad about his principal's loss at 2015 election, which has kept him jobless till today. I want say that he has the right to vent his anger.

However, Oby Ezekwesili deserves credit and accolades rather rather than heartless blackmail and mockery for coordinating efforts that helped many families in Chibok to get their kidnapped daughters back.

I want to say that if not for the persistent and sometimes annoying advocacy of Oby Ezekwesili and her BBOG, Pres. Buhari's Government probably wouldn't have 'paid' so much to get so many of the Chibok girls back. Buhari did it grudgingly because as a former soldier he knew the consequences. Shortly after, those consequences surfaced as Boko haram's attacking capabilities became upgraded and better and we ended up losing more soldiers and civilans.

Nevertheless, Oby Ezekwesili deserves credit. Reno Omokri, also, reserves the right to cry but outright defamation and being a slave to the past are vices rather than virtues.

By the way, who used and dumped my brother Olisa Metuh?

Pastor accuses NDLEA officials of wrongfully detaining his wife and their two months baby in Delta

A Pastor in Delta state has accused officials of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA of wrongfully detaining his wife and baby.

In the video posted by activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the pastor who resides in Ubuluku, Delta state, said he had a clash with one of his neighbor who according to him, sells “Indian hemp”.

The pastor said he warned the neighbor against selling the banned substance close to his own side of the compound, but his warning didn't go don well as his neighbour got angry and used a cutlass to chase him around.

The clergyman said he immediately reported the matter to the police who were unable to arrest his neighbour because he ran away.

The pastor claimed he got a call from the said neighbour, vowing to deal with him. He said he was shocked when he received a call that his wife and their two months old baby have been arrested and detained by NDLEA officials in Ogwashi-Ukwu, a town in Delta state.

He appealed to Nigerians and the state government to come to his aid so that justice can prevail and for the NDLEA officials to release his wife and baby.

I pray that they release your wife and kid,,,,

No insult. One thing about saloon, if you don't know how to barb, forget it, the business will ruin. Talking from experience.
8m is huge, there are some business out there you can start out there that brings high profits weekly, transportation is one out of many.

Insult ke!we are here to learn. When I said saloon,I'm not referring to those petty saloon,I'm talking about standard unisex saloon that can fetch you 20-50 daily.

With 3m you can establish one in a place like Lekki,Ikeja or Festac if you are in Lagos. And you have to install CCTV in the shop to avoid unseriousness from your workers.

First and foremost being a pilot is not an easy job,you might spend up to 50-80m naira before a good airline can employ you after many years of studies and practicing.

8m is a very big money in this part of the world. My advise to you is to find a lucrative business and venture into. You can start a standard barbing saloon with 3m and open a fixed deposit account and pay in the remaining 5m for 12months.

After the first 12months,if you make a lot of profit you can open another branch, but if none you still have your money with much interest.

Politics / The Powerful Chief Of Staff To Nigeria's President Buhari Has Died Of Convid-19 by donjancd19(m): 6:03am On Apr 18, 2020
By Yinka Adegoke
Africa editor,,,

Abba Kyari, the trusted chief of staff to Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has died from complications related to Covid-19 after a nearly month-long battle with the virus.

Kyari had widely been seen as one of the three most powerful people in Africa’s largest economy and said to have the complete trust of Buhari. Some had even described him as the defacto head of the government because in a country where the presidency holds an inordinate amount of centralized power and government funds, deciding who has access to the president accords immense power and influence.

And even with a political culture overweighted in outsized egos, Nigeria’s government ministers and state governors had to learn to work by going through Kyari before getting to the ultimate “oga”.

Despite his high profile role, the late chief of staff has not been one for the political limelight. There are few official public photographs of him and even his official age was not readily available in the early obituaries though he is guessed to be in his mid to late 60’s.

Kyari, who graduated from Cambridge and Warwick universities in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s, was often described as an intellectual by those who dealt with him.

The late chief of staff was said to have contracted the coronavirus on an official trip to Germany in March. He was confirmed with the virus on Mar. 23, though it was revealed on Mar. 30. At the time, he was said to be in high spirits and widely expected to recover. But there have now been reports Kyari had underlying conditions.

Kyari’s passing is a major blow to the Buhari presidency. It leaves a gaping hole in the administration as it juggles responding to a Coronavirus outbreak—which is likely to tip Nigeria’s economy into its worst recession in 30 years according to the IMF—and battling multiple insecurity challenges, including a devastating Boko Haram insurgency that has left the military stretched. Kyari’s passing may also force president Buhari into a quick shake-up of his kitchen cabinet—a reality which flies in the face of the president’s preference for slow-paced decision making.

Kyari was one of several high profile political figures in Nigeria to have contracted the virus. The state governors of Bauchi (Bala Mohammed) and Oyo (Seyi Makinde) both contracted the virus in March and have recovered. The Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai is still in care.

Nigeria still has a relatively low number of confirmed coronavirus cases with just 493 and 17 deaths, relative to its 200 million population. But there have been significant concerns the country is not giving enough tests to be certain with just around 7,000 tests done.

But in our darling nation, the last 2 presidents and their cronies looted our national treasury dry and out.

HeavenlyCherub:

Honestly I think you have good points in your paragraphs. I agree that as women we shouldn’t single out every man who isn’t walking in their purpose at that given time. However I would never advise anyone to settle.

Some of the financially challenged/student men who come to the US, a very large percentage have taken advantage of good women all in the name of love. I can only use myself as an example. I have dated guys who weren’t stable financially so I can only try help my fellow sisters.

Man 1: Yoruba guy - I dated him for 5 years. Great guy however refused to self improve. He did yahoo. I found out about it and tried to make him stop and do legit as I wouldn’t want our foundation built on potential blood money. He refused a legit job and informed me he knew “the life he wanted for himself and 9 to 5 was not it.” This is because he was consumed by lifestyle and driving range rovers and a Porsche’s. I stuck with him for love but I refused to marry him or his proposal as he didn’t believe in taking care of a woman. He was very selfish (during the course of a 5 year relationship this man never gave me any assistance for upkeep - mind you I didn’t need his money as I do very well for myself but every woman wants their man to be able to support and provide in small ways. This shows me you’re stable and can support our family should we hit hard times. He would always ask me why I need money and what I do with the money I earn. $10 to buy a panty he could not even do, but he stayed embellished in Gucci, LV and Prada. He also had a baby on me and begged me to raise the child with him if it was his after dna...I was scared toput myself in that position as a time when I have to depend on him will come and he would not man up as he should so I broke it off. He proposed I said no. . No way I can submit to a man like that?..

Man 2: was an international student, the devil himself in human form, they say respect them, support them and let them reach goals.. this guy I supported financially for months, paved a way for him to get his paperwork.. loved and supported. He was nice at first but when we started dating he started changing. Abusing me for not giving 5k usd and not wanting to marry him for green card... I thank God for protecting me from that one chance. He is the biggest regret and bad mistake I ever made in my life. So disheartening you support someone and they physically, verbally abuse you and blame you for the wrong going on in their life... read my story on my profile from 2 years ago for more context Note: I myself am not perfect and I’m constantly working on self improving and strengthening my bond with Christ. I’m big on giving advice to others so they won’t repeat the same mistakes I have made.

My aunt always told me never to date down. Never settle and I did. All the women waiting...wait for Gods time don’t force or rush things because you want to get married. You will end up with someone who puts baggage on you and breaks you emotionally, physically, financially etc. Let Go and Let God. If it’s his will for your life it will be. Don’t leave worse off then you started.

I also have a friend she married someone coming straight from naija. They lived as man and wife 3 years. He got his green card and went back to Nigeria to marry his real girlfriend.

I truly dislike when men put down women like this post. Marriage is not an accomplishment. It will be nice to find a compatible companion but sister- you are enough as you are. Don’t let anyone rush you. Some are happy but many more want to get out of the marriage you are rushing to. Be wise and Let God lead.

Pray for God to give you discernment. Marriage is life and that’s a long journey. Don’t end up with the wrong person because of societal pressure and advice from OP above. I have said my own

First and foremost sorry for your past experience.I think 80% of divorce cases in the U.S 's Nigerian couples is caused by women.

As a woman you don't have to be carried away with western life style and culture,in Africa mostly Nigeria are cultured minded so as a woman you have to know where you come from. That woman is under man (but not his slave tho),but most of Nigerian women wants to be more western than American themselves.

One thing I know about men is that they cherish good woman,in fact no man would like to loose a virtuous woman, but consistent abuse or nagging of a woman can make any man go crazy.Remember no man will like to be under a woman no matter what.

That you helped a guy achieved something in life and later leaves you to go marry another lady tells a lot, either there's something you always do that doesn't please him or you nag a lot.

Like I said earlier no guy will like to loose a good woman, but if after being nice to any guy and he later goes the other ways. That guy must be a beast, but I strongly believe that such guys are rare.

Pls don't mind my grammatical errors, after all we are not in English lecture room!
