Not sure what you are on about? Are you talking about Nkunku? I think you just like to complain. What would you rather have them do?

They have learnt from the last transfer window, and going after a mix of top-rate established talent, and scouted unknowns that could hit it big.

They are potentially changing the entire forward line to have Leao, Nkunku, Muokoko, Fofana and Hutchinson. Also potentially in midfield, targeting Zakharyan, Alvarez and Amrabat.......and Gvardiol at the back. How can you not be grateful for owners like these?

You want the Glazers?

Many of us still wanted TT to stay but you cannot deny that TT made a series of very bad recruitment mistakes. And as much as I wanted him, I think he would have continued to freeze out good talent for reasons I cannot explain.
Fair points here, the owners are clearly working. Is undeniable that they are highly proactive.

Wrong! I'm not a registered member of any political party because they have no ideology and I vote individuals. I even campaigned for Osinbajo, an APC man this year, including on the Chelsea thread.

I stated the only reason I am rooting for Atiku is because of Peter Obi.

So we should vote tinubu who is visibly sick and mentally unfit. Lol.

No matter how good you are though, there are people who will never be satisfied.

People criticising Obi in the past and now turned to praise him are probably doing so because of the top candidates he is contending with. If some one like Osibanjo is there, it would have been different....and it would have been two candidates making the wave on social medias.

It will be foolishness to look at an Old sick man and think he is the man to lead over 200mil people .well except for selfish personal gains one may get off it.

I have never voted before...but this one, I dey there.

Tinubu has his health issues to deal with neither do I think he has the mental capacity to rule the nation.
Atiku is a desperate thief. He's the only presidential aspirant who hardly ever talks about corruption. The less said about him, the better.

My main issue with Obi is the way he tries so hard to be seen a certain way . Experience has taught me that those who do that are usually terrible humans/leaders.

Secondly, there's no track record. Almost everyone I've seen who lived in Anambra when Obi was Governor have nothing good to say about his administration. Why should I believe the story will change with him as president.
You want me to vote? You will have to put Wike on the ballot. He's the only one I trust to deal with insecurity heads on based on antecedents.
I don't know why I find this post funny.
You say you don't like Obi because he tries Soo hard to project simplicity.. cheesy

Imagine a world where a reason for not voting a politician is because he tries to project an image of simplicity and humility. Something he has done since he ascended public office.
Mr man when it comes to Obi, his number one selling point is his prudence with public funds.

Your whole point is now rendered almost foolish when you declare that the person you want is an acclaimed chronic thief, corrupt entity, cheif embezzler and enabler of corruption. cheesy
You support wike because of his dictatorial tendencies, you don't support Obi because some people have said negative things about him, meanwhile you're overlooking the millions saying positive things about him and worse still, you've refused to use your own hand to research on the candidate himself very well rather than rely on what people say.

You're just not serious. People like you are the reason I'm intensifying my effort to make people vote.
Bro, this is politics, not a divine race, to be at the top of politics means you've dined with the devil at some point, you will never see a candidate that ticks all your boxes because what you seek is different from what others seek.
What you must do is choose the candidate that ticks the most for you and is the best among the options presented.

I can't keep repeating this enough! A presidency is beyond just one man. An Obi presidency, especially one led and fuelled by the masses and has a lack of establishment support means he has an autonomy and freer room to be his own person and make his own personal choices and appointments.

An Obi presidency appoints better ambassadors, better judges, better ministers.
An Obi presidency has better motivation to work for the people.

Meanwhile NOT VOTING is antithetical to whatever ideal or wish you have for the country. Not voting is a complete surrender to the evil forces that have darkened the nation to what it is today.
Not voting is infact VOTING. Not voting is ensuring that terrible leaders capture the state. The state of which you are under their whims and caprices. Not voting is playing the ostrich. And unfortunately your choice affects me, it affects all of us so go sit down and make better rational decisions.

This is not true. If more people came out to vote, they would vote based on what they feel would benefit the country and their interest..

And believe you me, many more people would see that tribalism has no personal gain for them. The people who believe that would be relegated to the minority.

Don't you think it is time to wake up from all these lies we tell ourselves of how one region votes better than the others?
If any region was voting with credibility, most office holders won't smell a second term. The SE have been plagued with very bad leaders, and it goes for almost all parts of the country

Stop using this voter apathy to ignore the patterns right from 1999.
You like dabbling in unnecessary semantics.

You keep inventing your own narratives to now argue against.
No one has said anything about who votes credible leaders, we're saying both sides have bad leaders but root causes are different because one side doesn't vote as much.

The intent of the guys entire message is that igbos are historically less malleable to leaders.. they bow to no leader. That's basically the essence of the message.

This is one argument I don't have strength for. If you believe fine, if you don't, fine.

Orji Uzor Kalu ruled for 8 years, and changed party to PPA

After then, he put his stooge T A Orji who ruled for 8 years and went to Senate.

What happened next? Orji put another stooge in the person of Ikpeazu that has been a disgrace to Igboland till this day.

So, it's either the bolded statement is a lie, you are indirectly calling the Igbos "fools", since this is your definition of credible leaders

If you want that of Enugu, Imo, or Ebonyi, please let me know.

When we address this, we can move to voter apathy
I'm sure I didn't mention credible leaders in my post.
Clearly you did not understand my post or his post which you responded to.

Let me use numbers, there are 100 People in a class, the vast majority of them are not malleable to directives politically but then they don't even care about who leads them.

Out of that 100 People, only 10 people do vote which makes it easier for all types of leaders to spring up because the small electorate can be more easily manipulated.

Now in the other class, 60 out of the 100 do vote but they vote based on instructions from their leaders whether the leaders are good or bad.

Now get the baseline of this argument. BOTH do have bad leaders but the reasons for that are different. That's the point for the most part.

If you read the earlier part of his post, he talks about the problem of voter apathy which is the number one problem of Igbo people.

His post is suggesting is that igbos are less malleable than other groups to be told what to do by "certain leaders". Their own bad leadership is caused by the fact that they don't care about politics unlike northerners for example who do care but vote based on direction.

For instance, a northern house of rep member is in the news for telling his constituents that if they don't vote for him, he will deal will them and after the outcry, he still came out boldly to defend it that that's how they play their politics. For a southerner, that would be death knell on the persons political career. Think ohakim of imo state or Chris uba or Anambra.

The US has always been like this and survived 300yrs. Human ideologies keep moving. What is liberal today will be conservative tomorrow.
Sometime back a woman wearing sleeveless is extremely liberal now only extreme conservatives will do that

Before abolishing slavery was a liberal idea now its not even conservative
Just this week GAY right is not the law across the US, 20yrs ago, only extreme liberals used to identify as it

I watch movies from the late 90s and early 2000s where everyone laughed at anyone gay, now you cant even have a movie without a GAY character. Now children are actually transitioning and taking hormone blockers to change their sex

Think about every social issue from weed, abortion, same sex marriage, interracial marriage, dressing, gender identity etc

Now we have women refereeing a football match in Qatar. They are saying gender is fluid. Men are playing women sport and vice versa Next you will have men and women merged to play in EPL so Chelsea FC will field 6men and 5 women to face Real Madrid. Maybe the 2034 world cup might be combined men and women

So there might become a time where the conservative opinion on punishment for killing will be jailterm while the liberal punishment might become counseling

There wont be no civil war, they will just adjust position with the right moving slightly left and the left moving further left
I didn't see that last point coming. The slow shift towards liberalism, isn't that a good thing? At least going by the earlier points you made about slavery, female dressing and LGBT human rights??

As for the football aspect, it does sound akward but certainly not impossible. We have some weak males and strong females who both play football. I don't think it will bad to trial the idea of mixed gender sports so far as it doesn't affect the quality of the game.

Now get my point, the best male footballer is most likely better than the best female footballer but the busy female footballer is most likely better than many average make footballers. So not totally impossible.

I'm not talking about Dayo here. I am talking about YOU.

You Donjazet, what moral right do you have to tell anyone who to vote or not vote for seeing that in your own words "Buhari is a colossal failure" but you were part of those that has brought the colossal failure into power?

I ask you donjazet, do you not think you deserved to be cursed daily for bringing Buhari into power?
Questions begging for answers.
Larride, I keep repeating this here that the presidency is beyond one man.
Someone here once asked me if I went back in time today to 2015 despite knowing what I know whether I will still vote APC and I said yes. Because despite the failure of the party's administration, their emergence has inevitably led to a better democracy for Nigeria.

Even though the PDP has failed as an opposition, Nigeris is still not a one party state and that we have relatively strong electoral laws today and hopes of a freer election next year is because of the fact that both parties don't want either of themselves to rig the other out in the states they control.

So APCs emergence did pave the way for the present Obi phenomenon. If APC did not win, they would have most likely splintered after that election and we would have no choice. We would have been like our African neighbours. One party for 50 years just like PDP had bragged. Just like we see in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe and the likes.

That's the same thing I'm doing today, campaigning for what an Obi presidency REPRESENTS. A campaign not backed by looted fund's. A campaign funded and energized by the common masses. An Obi win gives him a chance of telling the establishment, none pf you put me here, the people put me here and I will work for them..
That's the beauty of what the Obi presidency represents. One who is outside of the establishment. One who no state Governor is backing with looted state funds or corrupt money. One who is being pushed by the average citizen.

So yes. That Buhari was a failure does not mean we don't move on and fight again for a better choice. Buhari failed but democracy survived.

Obi handed all missionary schools back to churches'management for effective management but still provided resources and requipping of all of them plus increasing and prompt payment of teachers salary for better education.
