Havertz10:I know you're in southy and that helps in explaining your political apathy. But still, it has to be asked; WHAT WOULD YOU REALLY SEE NIGERIANS DO? What do you think we can do to see the country change if not via politics?? Politics is the only avenue we can use to enact change, nothing else. The country is bad because the average literate person is apathetic to getting involved in the democratic process. And the beauty of the Obi candidacy is the fact that it is a non-establishment movement. A move not financed or backed by the traditional money bags but by the people. We can't afford not to rush and utilise this opportunity. If you are criticizing the movement, then provide a practical solution or what you think Nigerians should do. |
Very interesting conversation with prof on the issue of the party not filling it's candidate nominee quota nation's wide. It's revealed that many slots for contested positions around the country are left unfilled with a level as high as 30 percent. Also revealed that in jigawa state for instance, the party has no single candidate statewide. Prof says that it's an issue but not one unfamiliar to any party. He says that no party has ever filled it's slots 100 percent in any election not even the PDP at the height of it's supremacy. He points out that in rivers state for example, there was no nominee for the APC due to intra party fighting and court battles and it was fruitless in the end because the people in the state didn't align with the party. He says that in areas of strong interest for the Labor party, the party ensured to fill it's spots as quickly as they could sighting the rush for it's tickets in those regions but for the party's weakness in the core northern areas, even if those slots were filled, it could ultimately habe been meaningless.. He also addresses a few court cases for some party state tickets, in states like rivers, Lagos, Ogun and Benue and says it's absolutely normal for patties to experience those and that he believes they would be resolved very swiftly as they resolved that of the presidential candidacy. That they are on it. Journalist points out that there are a few southern seats especially in ebonyi and delta states that were unfilled, that in the case whereby the party actually wins the seat but is without a party nominee what happens. Prof points out that this is not a new scenario and he expects that it would be settled via the courts through something something special sitting and plenary. |
benalvino3:Ibime is 10 times the man you wish you were.. His acumen is much better than anything any of you Maga fools can dredge up. |
Interesting video by David hundeyin on the southern Kaduna genocide happening there. https://www.nairaland.com/7494307/killings-southern-kaduna-video-documentary |
Itsrm:My brother it will! I believe so strongly that it will. Your Obi vote and that of your household would get us closer to that dream. ![]() |
Further speaking, prof says that the Tinubu roadmap to victory is relying on inheriting key northern votes but says the story on ground is very different. Says put simply, Tinubu is not Buhari" and state of play in the states shows that the states voters are in play by anyone. Says just like the organic acceptance of Obi is happening in the south, the same is happening in the North for kwankwaso, atiku and Obi. He predicts the northern votes to split into many parts giving no candidate any particular edge. |
Man! This man is on fire! Very Interesting segment here. ![]() Asked on Tinubu's path to victory. Prof Utomi says while Tinubu is obviously the frontrunner on account of "incumbency privilege" but that the candidate himself knows his pathway is quite narrow. Says there are rumours of discontent amongst his own party ranks. Says many party stalwarts are quite angry with the party's nominee choice and some have actually reached out through the back doors to Obi campaign. Says his (Tinubu's) poor health status has been common knowledge for many in the party and they are genuinely dissatisfied with that. That many have previously gone to visit him previously over the years in Europe. Asks for observation towards the party's fellow contestants, name checks elrufia and a just handful as the only prominent backers of the Tinubu campaign. Asks the interviewer to observe other contestants like amaechi, akpabio, Ogbonna onu and Even the president and the vice as many who he has heard are very wary of the Tinubu candidacy but for obvious reasons are publicly tongue-tied. Mehn. ![]() |
On roadmap to victory; Pat says the Obi campaign aims to emulate president Jonathan's pathway to victory in 2011 but with a caveat of exchange between the regions of the south west and the middle belt. Says they expect to win nasarawa, fct, Benue and platue states. Says Taraba, kogi and Niger state are also in play. Says lagos is actually in play and the trick is the turnout game. |
Asked about Ahmed datti's choice as VP. Prof Pat says it was made on recommendation by the arewa consultative forum. Further on reasons, he says; Obi and Ahmed share a passion for education of Nigerians. Says Ahmed brings competence to the ticket. Says the financial strength has been immense. Adds that datti Ahmed comes from a strong "political lineage" that helps the ticket reach its "target percentages" in the northern states. |
Asked about governor wike, prof Pat Utomi describes governor wike as being in a political mine field. Says wike has been very cordial and supportive of the Obi candidacy throughout the journey. Says wike was quite shocked with the rapid acceptance and elevation of the Obi campaign as described to them on their visit for the project commissioning. Says he has low expectations of wike publicly backing Obi due to down ballot candidates in his party but is 100% sure of victory in the state due to successful collaboration with the state stakeholders. |
Who is following Pat utomi's interview? This man is spitting for real!!! I'm just glad to see that the Obi campaign is now completely mainstream.. Mr Pat Utomi says that the 2 states he was sure from day 1 the Labor party would win was Delta and Edo states because these were states where the Labor party already had "historical ingrown roots". He evidenced the fact that Labor party was very active with the unions in both states and the party was headquartered in asaba as evidenced by it's presidential primaries which held in the state. Disstroy you were also right about the 3rd force stuff you were talking about. Pat Utomi says that he, Ayuba and quadri were the ones who adopted Obi and successfully lobbied him to decamp from the PDP and come to the party. |
My fellow football fans, merry Christmas to you all. My only job here for now is to remind you all of the very huge task facing us all. Please a reminder to go and get your PVCs. Your Peter Victory Cards. Our only weapon against evil and wicked leadership is our voters card! That's the only way our leaders can hear us. We are extremely privileged to be in a country where we can determine our leaders. Its a huge privilege that Cameroonians are begging for. It's a huge privilege that North Koreans are begging for, it's a huge privilege that Russians are begging for. Don't waste yours away.. this opportunity comes only once in 4 years of your life! Utilise it well. Dont let it go to waste.

Itsrm:Bro have you recently gone to the thread again? Agbado boys are crying no be small. They still can't believe their eyes. ![]() I swear these boys go shock in few weeks time. ![]() |
Nonsense propagandist!! Seun why is this wicked APC propagandist given preferential treatment? Why is his post always on front-page? Do they pay for this? |
OasisX:Oasis my bro, let me remind you once more of what you were defending.. I know nothing will make me defend rhetorics like these.. If you want to be evil or defend evil, come out with your plain chest and say it, not all that rigmaroling you were doing.
|
OasisX:Who is fooling who? ![]() You seriously want us to believe that the man who almost singlehandedly bankrolled the APC in 2 national campaigns has no influence on the government? That the man who personally handpicked or approved several lawmakers, several ministers, several governors, several appointees has no influence on the government?? That a whole founder of a party has no influence or power to direct policy in the country. ![]() You can only sell that jargon to MC oluomo boys in ojuelegba park.. And mind you, whatever "mockery" was made towards Tinubu was clearly men catching cruise as evidenced by his seamless nomination over a crowded field that included even the incumbent Vice President. So don't come here to gaslight people into thinking that this man had no power to influence policy. There is no way Tinubu would have been passionate about certain issues and wouldn't have the political manpower to have pushed for it. Stop being deceitful to us. Don't gaslight. |
OasisX:How don't you understand this, nobody is buying whatever APC is selling!! Whatever plans or blueprint Tinubu has, why haven't we seen signs of it in any shape or form in the last few years?? Abi you want to pretend Tinubu has no power or influence to effect policy in this administration?? Why should Nigerians believe that the APC we're seeing now would be any different when Tinubu jas never come out to ever speak against this government but instead rushes to defend buhari always?? You are showing us manifesto of APC right now, the manifesto of 2015 and 2019 that APC deceived us with, what happened to it? The one that Tinubu helped to sell to us? What happened? |
raumdeuter:Dayo why don't you come down to Nigeria and join the 50 million youths that will be eating cassava and ewa.. ![]() Even the scanty military that we have, how well has this government utilised them? Is it not because the military guys are not well taken care of that they enter road and also tax drivers on highway? Now imagine adding 50 million and telling them pump and plain that they can't be fed well. Dayo, is it cassava and ewa that other military feed their soldiers? Why don't you share a picture of the meal that American service troops eat? And then compare it with ewa and cassava. |
Merry Christmas to all. I wish you guys a wonderful season of merriment. Cheers all. |
Secure your PVCs for the one and only saviour of Nigerian democracy!! The only saint on the ballot. ![]() Secure your parents and your partners PVCs for Obi.. make sure you personally have not less than 10 votes for Obi. WE ARE THE STRUCTURE!

How I will vote for Obi. ![]()
|
Where is ibime? I miss his presence on this thread. He's the one that makes this thread worth reading. Shout out to obrigardo and adamusulemain too |
TrebleChamp:But I'm not directing it to any particular person na. ![]() It's a generalisation. And I'm actually right to do that. You can't call yourself a good person if you are actively campaigning for APC to continue it's misrule of Nigeria.. Strong words evoke strong emotions. None so more than the truth. And the obvious truth is that only selfish and\or gullible people will have it mind to go under the sun and thumbprint for the APC despite everyday being a constant reminder of why we should remedy the course and punish them. Failure cannot be rewarded. You can't Fvck up for 8 years and expect to be rewarded with votes. It's evil! |
Tataffo:Over the years, sometimes I've tried to stick my neck out for this government in the hope that they weren't completely wicked or plain evil. Well thanks to them for making us look very foolish. Which is why I cannot comprehend those who still have Stockholm syndrome towards them. That night pains me when I remember because I just did not want to believe that this government will murder her own citizens, but it is what it is. All these is why I want to atone for my mistakes of past election. We have to get it right next year. We can't afford any mistakes. There is only one clear choice amongst the 3. The one who hasn't stolen anyone's identity. The one who we know his entire history. The one never to have seen the inner walls of a courtroom for crimes. The one with the physical, mental ans cerebral agility. We must all vote wisely in 50 days time. |
Ellexy:My God Just look at the size of those bullets.. How on earth did these criminals get access to such high calibre weapons ![]() Next thing expect oasis to flood this place with pictures of how military have are doing their best. Again, thunder fire any bastard that thinks this wicked government should maintain power for the next 8 years. |
OasisX:Are you aware how offensive and tribalistic this slur is?? Oasis why have you decided to give into tribal hate? What are they giving you people in that campaign that has made you people so hateful?? Chai |
Itsrm:Bro urban dwellers far outnumber the rural dwellers. And I think that that will be the voting pattern next year. Historically, just 10 percent of the electorate votes and most of those votes are usually from the rural because politicians use them easily and the more enlightened and educated electorate don't vote. So you have a very small percentage voting which means rural people determine our leaders for us but this would be very different. Just look at that thread you shared now, see the overwhelming show of love for just one person. Then I told you that Obi campaign website has just boasted of having about 5 million registrants. That's a very sizable percentage of the electorate locked in especially in a 3 man race. Obi wins this election in a free and fair race. |
Itsrm:Bro, no matter the state you are in Nigeria, any urban area you enter and gather 100 people and ask them who they prefer between the 3, they would choose Obi. There is a reason why EVERY SINGLE POLL has Obi in the lead. Like EVERY SINGLE POLL. If these elections are free and fair, Obi would win hands down. |
Ellexy:Haha. ![]() Trust me to dey give them back to back! No peace for the wicked. You cannot call yourself a human being if you have seen the wotowoto of APC and still not only decieve yourself into believing that APC will save Nigeria from APC bit attempt to decieve others. Shey them swear for them abi na wetin?? You see 3 candidates before you. Only one is hale, hearty and cerebral and you want to decieve yourself into voting a living corpse. Who do us this thing? ![]()
