My belief won't make Obi president.

There is still Supreme Court if Obi wants to pursue his victory, so there is a next recourse.
Then why did you stop those who believed that the answer to the raw injustice they were seeing before them was to protest immediately and loudly?

Why did you join voices with those who sought to stop it? To go to the courts?

My vote was not useless. Maybe you didn't thumbprint well, and ended yours to be voided.

The only saving grace for Tinubu is to perform, if not, he will lose woefully in 2027.

15 million voted for APC in 2019, and despite 2023 having more registered voters, Baba managed to get 8 million. Sufferings reseted the brains of 7 million.

Obi should form a new party and leave LP for
Apapa. He is bigger than the mess LP has

Then he should have a merger with PDP for the Northern votes. Kwankwaso has convinced
Nigerians that he is politically useless on a National level.

Stop crying, this boy
The fact that you still believe Tinubu won 8 million votes despite the well established facts that those numbers were massively rigged and obis numbers were massively suppressed tells me all I need to know about your mindset.

And this has nothing to do with your post which I called out. I called for peaceful protest, you said we should go to the courts, now the courts have proven themselves as tools for the corrupt government, I'm asking you what should be the next recourse for those who know they were cheated?

That police is very corrupt doesn't mean we should eliminate them completely. That's throwing the baby with the bathwater, it will be worse and that was my belief.

I for one believe when it comes to power, it's taken and not given..

Obi to me, seems too cool to be a president.. he doesn't have the balls to call the shots in my opinion and he is so chicken hearted.. maybe because he doesn't want to compromise his source of wealth owing to his billionaire status..

Someone like sowore if he had the populace like Obi had would have rode on it and unleashed the worst pre election protest there would have ever been.. heck even OBJ press statement post election reeks of someone who is/was born to rule..

You don't sit and wait for power to be handed to you, you get up and fight for it hook line and sinker..

Power and politics is and has always been a dirty game so you have to go damn dirty and there will be sacrifices even your life might as well be on the line..

Even the little street we re onto.. we know the risks and rules of the game let alone when it comes to something huge like power of presidency..

Maybe as many here said, he was really testing the waters and I hope so..

Where in the world has power everly been given by begging and emotions..

Even trump whom lost last election fights like a warrior 🪖 and a wounded lion.. and now he is back 🔙 and riding on his occultic fanatics who wouldn't even think twice to stand in the way of a bullet for him.. that is is how power politics is played..

You see your supporters ready to hit the streets and make it rain.. you re dulling their morale and sounding lilly livered..

He'd better go back to buying and selling as a trader he is.. he is not meant for this kind of high end power politics..
Darlington I'm sure this would be the very first time I am agreeing with you word for word!!!

Every single point you made was a hit. Now you get it.
Obi has proven himself too weak to lead the youths who are hungry for change. My worst pain is seeing these APC touts weaponize his meekness. First, projecting their bigotry unto him by saying he sows religious and tribal differences, then now mocking his supporters even though they are the majority. It's really painful bro.

Protest will not lead you anywhere or yield anything. You'd be hurting and risking your life if you do so. Stop acting like you are ignorant of the realities prevalent in Nigeria.

If anything happen to you, you will be forgotten in a blink.
But hard truth is any protest will not change anything!!!
Well, that's the ultimate sacrifice for any human being. Millions of soldiers who fought Nazis are largely forgotten but they saved the world. One's efforts at sacrificing himself on the alter of a good and noble cause will always be heroic. Whether recognised or not.

But this point is mute seeing as I'm not actually calling for violent protest in this case. I'm calling for a peaceful one. An absolutely peaceful one. #occupyNigeria. Throughout history, peaceful protests has worked, we can't all see this blatant injustice and fold our hands and accept it. Constantly accepting rubbish from these politicians is what has brought us here.

Typical u and ur emotions.

So if people had gone to protest and the army rolled out tanks to meet them with hundreds of people losing their lives it doesn't matter?
Even if the protest would've led to Obi being arrested for treason it doesn't really matter to u?

MKO Abiola that was even popularly adjudged to have won the 1993 election died in incarceration while fighting for his mandate. U must think Obi was not reasonable enough to have learnt a thing or two from history of this country
The funny thing is, I'm not even saying Obi should have led a protest. I'm saying that he should have at least kept his mouth shut and I still stand by that. There is no law that can hold obi for incitement if he really didn't do that and even sef, if obi did tell his supporters to protest and stand up for their right and at every point emphasized for absolute peace and nonviolence but just strength through numbers, no one can hold him. This is not the military administration. That's the beauty of having a democracy.

But I'm still saying that rather than obi telling his supporters to be calm, he should have just kept shut, no one can do shit to him.

And yeah, there would be people who would be ready to sacrifice a lot including their life for the sake of their country. Yes, it might not work, and yes it could also work, but one thing is assured, if nobody does anything, nothing can happen. We can only know if things work by doing something, by triggering the action.

Why not let people vote their minds and you see the results?
How will the youths of this country decide to peacefully channel their grievances about the country at the polls and then you end up robbing them blind? Extinguishing that hope?

This was a unique opportunity for us and they stole it from us.
This would be very easy if we could we see that our movement was not strong enough, that the ignorant ones heavily outnumbered us. Fine, we would have accepted it in good faith. But for us to come out in our numbers only for you to cancel those numbers and start rewriting and tippexing and declaring the wrong figures in the night and then expecting us to accept the robbery in peace, we didn't sign up for that.

Fvcking whatever! However it went, peaceful, violent. So far as this wicked people knew that it was human beings they were dealing with not robots.

We all knew the nigerian judiciary was useless. We all knew nothing good will come out of it, my anger still remains with Obi who called for calm. He's the reason I don't even post anything political here again. He sold us out.

The public should have gone out and protested this robbery while it was hot.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by donjazzet: 8:05am On Sep 07, 2023
Some of you are outrightly evil. I saw this handwriting on the wall since, that going to court was useless. I was ranting at Obi for telling his supporters to be calm when many wanted to hit the streets in light of the daylight robbery that was taking place then.

Donjazet2:
Lord knows I'm fvcking furious with Obi right now.

The man is a fucking_coward. A fucking_pussy.
We should have adopted a rougher politician. Your supporters are being beaten left, right, center all across the country and you can't even take any sensible action.
You are even restraining your supporters from going out there and reclaiming your own stolen mandate. Their own votes.
Making the exact same mistake Jonathan made.
Mtchew.
Hindsight has proven me right.. the only right thing for obidients to have done was massively protest the rigging taking place.

Donjazet2:
By that time, that passion and enthusiasm people had for all these would have drained.

This would have been best when the emotions of that injustice was raw!!
Wike should have been given the Mussolini treatment right after that election day.
Storm the rivers government house and hang him publicly for commiting the gravest offense against those whose interests he's supposed to represent.
These politicians keep taking us for granted because we have chosen to cower in silence.

Our only options before us now is flee or remain and bear the brunt of the chaotic country.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by donjazzet: 8:04am On Sep 07, 2023
This was what I said obi should have done and people said I was wrong. That obi was right in going to court even though we already knew that that was a waste of time.

Donjazet2:
2 things, tell my supporters to immediately encamp all INEC offices during the period of coalition and ensure that the numbers are not changed. Publicly distribute the addresses of all the coalition centers and tell your supporters to rally at the premises and ensure that there is no form of physical violence whatsoever. Peaceful protest is a legally enshrined right to all nigerians.

Or 2, close my damn mouth, rather than outrightly telling them to be calm, I close my mouth and let them do whatever they do, whether violent or not, so far as I didn't in any shape or form call for violence from anyone. But outrightly calling for calm is automatically disclaiming anyone who goes out and protest and actively discourages any protest. Peaceful or otherwise.

Those were the best 2 options. 1: call your supporters to move to coalition centers where the rigging takes place, make sure you emphasize nonviolence or 2: keep shut but don't actively discourage any action by telling them to remain calm.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by donjazzet: 7:59am On Sep 07, 2023
We saw this coming a mile away. I still blame Obi who decided to reign in his supporters who wanted to protest the rigging while it was hot.
Donjazet2:
This is why I have been soo angry with Obi. He handled this movement very poorly.
Very meek even in the face of aggression. And that meekness has ebbed at his following.

Our silence suddenly means we "accept" the evil that took place on election.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by donjazzet: 10:33pm On Sep 06, 2023
An election we all knew was massively rigged is what people are cheering.

We talk about our weak institutions and why the country is like that, remember this all you APC supporters, you are an enabler in the rot of our system.
My pain is that some of you are not here to suffer the consequences of these. It's just soo easy and convenient to say these things and support these things because you're safe.

Well, we will all have our reckoning in one way or the other.

.....before I answer your questions, you should answer this question first. Did rigging take place in South East for Peter Obi?
I have not seen evidence of this and it defies logic entirely that south east governors would rig for obi and then rig themselves out. Have you seen what happened in Abia, Enugu, Anambra where heavyweights all lost their elections?

So who will do this rigging for obi?? So no it defies logic entirely. No single south east governor came out and boldly supported Obi, NONE! instead he was attacked by all of them from top to down there with many of them voted out.

So tell me, is it soludo, gburugburu, ikpeazu, umahi or uzodinjo that will rig for Obi?
