Of course I want to love again. wot is life without love? Love truly hurts but it's worth it. Most ladies see those who sincerely love them as fools (mugu). . . they are mostly in a r/ship for what they stand to gain from it. I had a chick in school who was ready to die for me then but as soon as we graduated with very good grades (which was y she stuck by me), she found that that her life was too precious to spend for or even with me. It was deadly but i survived it and can survive even more with love. Yes, we need the midnight cries/wails to prove we are mere mortals not gods. whiteroses:hey! I can be dat loving bf, can't I? ![]() |
13 containers of arms and ammunition is not that much, how big is the container to begin with, also you have to factor in the fact that the weapons were hidden in crates along with tiles and other building materials so as to disguise them. In a country of 500 thousand, maybe and just maybe, 13 containers of arms will spark a major conflict that may not even be up to the degree of a civil war. But a country of 150 million, Its absolutely impossible for 13 containers to cause a "civil war" Many people seem to be shouting war without fully understanding the repercussions of war. This is probably the shipment for some gang who are thinking about taking things a notch higher. Not even a thousand containers can be enough arms to start a civil war in Nigeria. If you say 15,000 containers then my eyes will open wide.@Gadogado: Do u know if the shipment started in 2007? Some arms were intercepted in parts of Nigeria over time. U think people don't reason? okay the report said that the discovery was due to tightening of security in the ports as a result of the twin car bombs in Abuja and other threats by both militants and politicians (I added the bolded). people don't want war doesn't mean they should not prepare, at least psychologically for eventualities. our ports and borders have always been porous. |
12large1:I think u shd be d one shutting up. Nigeria played Germany enroute France 98, we've also played England, Brazil, etc. . .we even played ghana, Jamaica . . .do u forget that this friendly against Iran is one of the occasional games we ever get to play outside major competitions proper? NFA/NFF don't usually organise friendlies for teams except "occasionally", as u know, wot then stops us from playing BIG teams? Our FIFA ranking will not improve with a win over Iran but will fall flat with a loss. . .think of it and then shut up. most of the big countries are playing qualifiers or have already been booked, when we were not playing friendly u people complained when we are playing u people are still complaning@ Clerc: Guy wake up! u surprise me who booked the big countries? y can't we be the ones booking them in time? dat's my point. Take it or leave it, it is either they refuse to play Nigeria or we fail meet their demands. we want to play friendly but not with d lowest ranked teams, period! honeric01:We are informed. Are we now emulating Brazil only in this regard? Brazil can chose to play any team. To even think of it, do u think Iran didn't pay heavily for that game? How much is Iran paying u for this game now? U don't know it all Honeric, don't claim to do. 1025:No mind over sabi people. we only run away from embarrassing scorelines that will expose our lack of policy in sports admin. Nobody seems to value playing Nigeria period. wot does it show? our football has fallen to its lowest ebb. So we need to look inwards and start building our game out of its current cesspit. all the admins do is to fight for control of the office and money instead of making positive decisions like giving us a substantive coach and organising friendlies that will help us find out our loopholes and discover budding talents. Honeric and co, who know evry will take anything from d Glasshouse but the few of us will continue to recall d good old days and pray for its return. |
When I started watching football, Nigeria used to play friendlies against teams in the calibre of England, Holland, Germany, Argentina and Brazil. At a point in our national life, we played lower teams like Jamaica and ghana almost every year until Ghana rubbished us (4-1) in England some years back. We also played even lower teams like saudi, Colombia, N & S Korea as our football fortunes continued to plummet. Now who are we playing? when other teams have defined their standards, weighed us and found us wanting (they reject our invitations/proposal by fire), we now play the lowest teams. . .best known for terrorism and nuclear wars "monging", than football. IRAN!!!! Chei! Our football has nosedived into bottomless pit. I won't watch dat match. Soon, we will register Somali, Yemen and Southern Sahara FAs with FIFA in order to have opponents for friendlies. |
oyb:I like it when people "ship" goods tru airports |
The ship that brought in the consignment, however, disappeared from the port.Hello! was the ship sunk? one last sour bite to spoil a good mill. We are not even sure if the goods really came from Iran. What do we even import from Iran in d first place? |

“With God on my side and with prayers, which I believe in, I hope to make a career in law. I want to be a lawyer so that I can be of great help to my immediate community in particular as well as serve mankind in general,” she said.I'm amazed! the girl is really brilliant but did she truly weave these complex sentences herself? In English or Yoruba? I fink Daily Sun has some answers to give here. . .Most of her peers would have said: "I want to be a lawyer." I'm not taking anything away from her anyway. |
googles:my sanity will definitely surprise u. . .try me for size. . .i've got to like working in the ganjafarm. Phate07:definitely not too far from d truth. . .but are u interested in my job? Are we now competing for the same job? @googles: or do u have space for more ganjainterns? |

@marvix: U too like PDP. . .imagine the way u reeled out how they shud manage the corruption of their members to their advantage. But u seem to 4get that some of these people, thru their corruption, contributed immensely in making PDP the "largest" party in Africa. meanwhile, how u dey? |
Slyr0x: Hey Sly! that's a sure way to be known but it doesn't bring strict fame. . .it is a two-way thing-i will be both famous and notorious. Recall Nzeogwu killed Ahmadu Bello and Dimka killed Murtala Mohd. IBB still got some pure, unconditional lovers. . .I'm not one of them though. |
Does d law forbid that? Meanwhile I think d pic was not taken in dia hotel room but at a pub function. . .u guy think they are stupid, don't u? How cud they flaunt it and come out to deny it. . .people are jobless and until they get busy, they will continue doing anything. Pls wot can I do to b very famous within the year? |
Quintos Lanista Batiatis- Spartacus.
I Dominus Batiatis was good but I think I wud prefer his 'wife', Domina Lucrecia (Lucy is Lawless). . .she motivated all d sexy wrongs in d movie. dat woman is from another planet! |
'Good to meet u again dear brother', Darken Rahl is it! |
The red card in the 5th minute and forced substitutions killed the game for city. In all, guess it was just arsenal's day. congrats. |
Guess Iyabo's name is there just to show dat GEJ no dey fear face. No more, no less! D 10m case sef fit get thrown out in d court 2moro. |
Did EFCC submit names of foreign nationals under investigation to PDP? it made the list so long and difficult to read. The list is really incomplete sha. |
Genny is hot and skillful. She has contributed and still has alot to contribute to Naija film industry. |

This shud qualify as the longest thread in NL. My prob is dat it's just full of bull.shit. |
my surprise arises from the way beckham and van nisterooy departed old traford quite unceremoniously. Ferguson is a stubborn man and heady players find it a bit hard with him. rooney's case seems to be different. |
Wayne Rooney said Sir Alex Ferguson's "belief and support" convinced him to sign a new contract with Manchester United FC, two days after confirming he wanted to leave the club.http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=1552727.html#rooney+pens+five+year+deal+united Could this be against popular expectations judging from the kind of man Sir Fergie is? I for one thought Rooney was already gone. |
City's fan base in naija is gradually growing. we may have a Chelsea-like phenomenon. they have the players that can guarantee them a place in the top four for some years to come. |
I give it to city |
what sort of punishment is that? I think the punishment for the minors should be given to their parents/guardians who send them out with the strict instruction never to bother coming back unless the goods are exhausted. when they come home with little sales, these kids are beaten black and blue and may not even be allowed to taste water(let alone food) in the house. these kids wake up with the firm resolve to complete the day's task with efficiency, they can even enter the lion's den to make sales. What do we expect the children to do? call their people's bluff? No way! Someone would say, "go to school of course." It may interest u to know that most if not all of these kids are not in any form of school. The only education they may have got being to recite their goods, count money and make change. The owners of those goods should be arrested and jailed/fined. |
In four years now, we shall be celebrating 100 years of our existence as a nation.are we already projecting for a mega anniversary celebration? This is about the only aspect of living in which Nigerians seem to have mastered the art of planning ahead. Who knows how much and whose blood that will be used to appease the gods of d land on such occasion? We can then tag it Century Bomb Blast (CBB) or Amalgamation Bomb Blast (ABB). . .we will always find a fine coinage. Funny enough, it's gonna be another election year. chei! Politicians and rituals! |
What sort of comparison is this?. Ekiti is a new state while Anambra is older than Methuselah. If you must compare Ekiti with an eastern state, it should be Ebonyi. Nnewi alone has more human resources than the whole of Ekiti state.@Aloy: Anambra is older than Ekiti but definitely not by ur analogy. When the present anambra state was created in Aug 1991 by IBB, the only thing that was retained was the name. The capital had to move from Enugu to Awka, a rural area along Enugu-Onitsha exp way. So development began afresh for them. That anambra is more dev dan ekiti is not about age but d social consciousness of the people. Ekiti people may be learned cowards while anambrarians are dogged and fearless bizmen. Check out Obi and Oni. . .Obi started slow and everybody gave him hell but Ekiti peops allowed Oni to stay and do nothing. He only used the state allocation to compete with fayemi in court. his prof brothers kept mum. . .how many of them are in Ekiti, anyway? During the Biafra war, Igbos showed their scientific research skills even in the face of hunger and death. . . u don't need to be a prof to be a brain box. U just need to find a need and fill it. |
I can do better than that guy. . .no big deal. what a woman can do. . . |
@Orangeman: I don't think Ibori's extradition brings a grain more of rice to my table but what shud the people rather do? beg the Emirate to release Ibori without trial? will it satisfy u if d original ibori is let loose to join the army of other Iboris in Nigeria? I think we shud be happy dat soon Nigeria would have one ibori in captivity. if we can't do our own work ourselves, can't we encourage doz dat are helping us do them for free? Ibori may be a political victim but for all I know, his hands are very dirty. . .dirtier than u can ever imagine. He is still one of the most powerful among his colleagues if u want to know. He that lives in glasshouses shud learn never to throw stones. . .maybe that's a lesson to other iboris within and outside the country. For the records, I'm shouting "Hurray" but I can't stop others from shouting at d top of their voices. |
and die alone? No kids No husbby = no mouth among relatives and society! ov course i wanna be in love again i pray for a loving bf soon
