I voted for a chelsea win but it's gonna be a difficult game. A draw is very possible. bxg:Not in d books. . . u want to ride on the back of Fulham as u rode on Liverpool. Not possible in this game. . .the worst is a draw for chelsea even ur game against mancity is not sure win for united. City can even win it more Fulham can draw at the bridge. My Liverpool is on d upsurge against wigan. |
Liverpool disappoints at games like this but I can bet my car that they will win at Wigan. They need it to complete their comeback message and start commanding respect due them. My players are Lucas, Torres and Gerrard and may be Kelly in the defense. |
Monkeyleg, I don't doubt the veracity of ur claim but my point is that his chances of being fielded by the pdp is above 70% as the party may not go into primaries except someone goes to court for an injunction barring pdp from fielding Uduaghan as its candidates. Some of those qualified guys u mentioned shud fight for their right or be ready to campaign for Great in the elections, period. |
ollykay:I see a point here. Compare this era with obj/Atiku ere and u will give credit to jonathan. He congratulated Fayemi on his victory. . .it gives the new gov a sense of belonging. Obj/Atiku wud av told everybody that it is no over. . .that pdp will soon capture Ekiti. GEJ is more law abiding than all of them. The North may have chosen the best of their |
monkeyleg:But the court didn't rule on that. . .it didn't ask pdp to replace him in the forth coming re-run and I believe the party will not anticipate that now. The time is short and they will def go with d known devil than with the unknown angel. |
noru:He will win but not without a good fight from ur "Abokis". don't belittle the man that demystified OBJ |
@Mi Kenny, Thanks bro. dat's my point. After 3 and half years, u tell a gov to vacate office for and recontest his election. what hapns if he now truly wins? almost four years gone and s fresh four years starts? Ogboru shud av withdrawn his suit and focused on ousting him in the polls in April. |
daylae:I see osun falling come in a week 2. In that case, I see Aragbesola being declared winner of " |
Woke4all:I'm interested in this! in whose case did d S'Court rule that a nullified state election stands as a tenure if the ousted governor wins the rerun? In my humble view, the election in Delta state was declared null and void. . .by implication there was never a proper election in the state. so, anybody that wins the fresh election will serve for a full 4 year term. I think what u were using is where the court cancels polls in some wards not in the entire state. If uduaghan wins, he has a new 4 year term and can come back in 2015 for re-election. which is very bad or our politics and judicial system. Pls prove me wrong. |
Do you see the coming back of the extremist (Buhari) is inevitable, open your eyes one radical is handling the INEC,
i didn't get u dear. . .wot does radical Jega have to do wif d emergence of extremist Buhari? To me, this is North's best choice. in terms of structures and semi-goodwill, they made a good decision among the four. IBB wud av been it but for his marketability. With Atiku, they are sure of getting some part of SW even tho they will end up losing some part of SE/SS where IBB had an ace. It will truly be a big fight but my crystal ball tells me that GEJ will triumph. BTW, |
Could this be true? tried confirming from other sites but failed. |

zenus:Wher did u find that in my post? hope u don't read with ur lappy/fone upside down? I will be happy to follow any network that gives me a better rate than I currently get. I have to study it and be sure I'm not moving for the sake of movt like d guy who said he was looking for a replacement for Fashola. |
. . . . . . .maybe U dey on Donmeca tariff plan. @donmeca,firstly which package re u on that allows u such charges, cos ive been to allow of mtn packages and i found nuffin of such, and secondly the glo profit i use is nt just 25k/sec to glo ,but to all other network 24/7.@puskin & tunde300us; my package is a kind of midway into post-paid. When their marketer came with the proposal, I was with one of the banks. he called it Bankers' special package. . .u are not billed for calls made immediately- takes an average of 15mins, so ur calls are never cut short as ur credit runs out. u recharge and check ur balance with *557, # and *558# not *555, # and *556# respectively-no network congestion. U can only recharge with N1500 even though u can receive transfers. No access fees and my intra- calls are made at 25k/sec, while inter-network calls are at about 35k/sec. . .believe me dudes. it is a corporate account. . .u fill out a migration form and KYC is performed on the account holder. infact my sim was registered long before this hype about registration due to my migration to the package. |
puskin:that assertion is not entirely true. . .infact, it is false. many of us here use mtn till today because we find find it easier and cheaper to make mtn-mtn calls than calling from other networks even though etisalat has come up with their N25k/sec-for-N20/day arrangement. Mtn is still the network with d greatest impact on d industry |
Notin good can come out of dis MTN ppl sef,for almost 2months now my MTN line has been just for receiving and sending of text messages to my mtn-mtn users, after that one nuffin for dem.My GLO PROFIT is a wonder line with call rate of 25k/secs without paying any access chrge.@Tunde300us Guy, with my mtn, I call for 25k/sec also without access charge. . .it's about packages. D only diff is that I must only recharge with N1500 card. The truth remains that mtn is the largest gsm service provider in naija. . .they can comfortably account for 50 to 60% of nigerian gsm subscribers. I have other lines (almost all of them) but they are dormant. With etisalat, I must pay N20 daily to call at 25k/sec but with mtn, i pay nufin. Their is diff btw intra and inter network tariffs but most of my peeps use mtn so I'm free. I use visafone to take care of CDMA runs. |
At Last, I Found A Replacement For Fashola: Babatunde Gbadamosi!from the title of this thread, it's obvious that the op had been looking Fashola's replacement for a very long time. . .may he pls tell us y he had wanted the man out of Alausa. Is he not working? or u just wanted change for the fun of it. U want to change from good/semi-good to absolute bad? Realing out statistics isn't performance. . .i can reel out very cogent stats about my state and even Nigeria but that doesn't make me a gov or presidential material. For instance, we all know that: * Nigeria has a population of 150 million people *the above makes us the most populous black nation in the world and the most populous in the world *we are the US' number one supplier of crude *our bonny light is the best crude in the world *we are africa's biggest oil producer and the world 5th largest oil producers *about 70% our our population live in abject poverty inspite of our wealth *about 60% of my people are stark illiterates even with our educational targets (Edu for all by 2000, Vis 2010, vis 20 2020 and others) *we export about 2.5 million barrels or crude in a day *yet we depend solely on importation for make use of our God-given resources *98% of the rice we eat come from thailand despite our arable lands and huge agric allocations *we still flare gas in the niger delta yet our leaders claim are committed to constant power supply *when i was a child, we lived in the Railway quarters in Enugu, rail was my first means of transportation, today. . .about twenty yrs later, it is moribund. *then coal, pet products, cement, timber, etc were moved by rail; today, we use tankers and trailers *these heavy vehicles on our roads are responsible for up to 80% of road mishaps in Nigeria *I dare ask, what stops us from revamping our rail system thereby giving the transport sector a face lift. . .a new lease of life? *the life span of our roads will be greatly increased by the above. . .but someone once told me the CABAL in the industry MUST kick against it. *we generate individual power (via generators) while still paying electricity bills *with our abundant water resources, every household still carters for its water needs *Malaysia begged our people in Edo State to teach them the cultivation of palm trees for oil (1987) *today (some 20 yrs down d line) , malaysia is the glaobal leader in palm oil production while our production is not even enough for local consumption *the country is home to about 250 ethnic nationalities willing to break away any minute the statistics are endless, pls make me president. . .I've got my blueprint here. I can solve our hydra-headed national problems. Again I saw this badamosi guy's FB advert, he seems to be interested in lowering taxes. . .pls help me tell him that Nigerians don't do things like that (paying taxes) willingly. Without the passion and will power of fashola, nobody wud av paid even if it was reduced to one naira every month. |
@poster; I'm sure the title was meant to be CAN 2012 not 2010. I also know that Nigeria will qualify come rain come shine. |
Katsumoto:Ekwueme should feature prominently in the former and never in the latter but do people like ~bluetooth understand that? |
I'm not quoting law.what I'm saying is that Ekwueme did not need to segregate himself just because he couldnt get the presidential slot.
So everybody shd join ur chop chop political ideology just to remain relevant? u're definitely not reasoning well. . .how old was Ekwueme in 1999 and how old is he now? the man decided as a matter of principle & not law, that he must not seek power with his blood and the blood of others. . .is that a problem?
and where is he today sir ?
? he shd have gone to the senate to remain relevant today, abi? No wonder ur people take politics as do or die. The old man is alive and well. |
Ekwueme is one frustrated old man who claimed to be the founder of pdp ? He wanted to be president by force.nonsense
your bluetooth must have been switched off. . .pls switch it on! !DIOT. How old is your father? where is he in the history of Nigeria? How old are u? who knows u? who amongs obj and ekwueme wanted to rule by force? deadi bodi like u wan begin insult elders. oloshi |
honeric01:Now, we are on the same page. . .I now understand your problem. u didn't understand my stand. . .it was simple English. I meant that the standard of naija football (just like education) has fallen and u started opening your mouth without reading my post objectively . Thank God you finally put on your thinking cap to agree with me (via d bolded). Advice: Read b4 u post. If the authorities were making any effort to rectify d glaring problem, we would not be complaining. SE has fallen below expectation, thus big teams don't find it worthwhile to play them. |
cold: omojand:@Abagworo; I hope u read the quotes above, without the IBB part sha.? I don't antagonise u for the fun of it. . .it's based on facts. |
Abagworo:Who accused IBB in the first place? People here on NL were being speculative. Nobody from the villa or even SSS accused IBB. Moreover GEJ never exonerated MEND. . . don't let us go down this path again. Again Henry, Charles and other suspects may still name names, so don't beat ur drum yet. My issue with ur post is that u wanted a secret investigation to be made public so we can now say "it is northerners or southerners". This case if well managed, shud not have been made public by now. people talking about Emeagwali should first go and achieve fame for themselves and leave the man alone. |
Do they think hugging gives HIV? for God's sake hugging is still a part of greeting! that's how they confide their wives to purdah. . no allowing them to see the good things that God created. inside the same purdah, the women still commit sins. most these people that take pleasure in covering their faces perform wonders in darkness. This is the peak of the dark age. very soon they will create different classes for male and female students. |
mordi4evah:can we call dis love at first sight or lust at first sight? or are u just admiring her? mayb this is the poster's prob with love/lust. |
I think Jack Bauer should be invited to interrogate the suspects. . .guess they will be compelled to "talk true" by d mere sight of the guy. By d time he breaks someone's spine or hips, the criminal will confess. na true- -movie or real life. |
@noblezone; guy i value ur write. IBB and co have been the ones giving us problems upon problems yet we have always come up as survivors. If we could survive his man-made disasters, I think we can always survive zoning disaster. |
“Your Excellency, you were at the expanded meeting in 2002 where an agreement was reached that the South should have two terms of eight years.“Already, USA warned that the nation may disintegrate in 2015 and I think we are now paving the way for this,” the campaign coordinator warned.that is d only way Dokpesi and his boss know to campaign. They will tour the 36 states talking zoning and not policies. . .they fink dat dis is naija where sentiment carries the day. wot will u do to remedy the problem u caused us for 8 years, IBB. Quit threatening us cos we won't be intimidated. Dokpesi show us why ur orga is the best candidate and we will consider him. . .4get zoning, it is a lame argument. |
I don't understand why they are hiding everything from us.The trial of Okah's brother and now the identity of the importers. There is very high tendency of foul play in all these.Foolish statement from abagworo as usual omojand:intelligent response to a very foolish reaction. Abagworo never sees anything good in any govt where a northerner is not directly at the helm of affairs. But he still has a chance to repent of his sins. |
