PoliticsRe: Buhari Vs Atiku: How Each Zone May Likely Vote Tomorrow by donphilopus: 7:35am On Feb 25, 2023
I've been so busy so I couldn't create a thread for my prediction. To even do state to state analysis now, I'm finding it difficult because of the tight schedule today. But I'm predicting 32-33 million voter turnout today.

Tinubu will get 11.9m votes, Atiku 9.5m votes, Obi 6m votes while Kwankwaso would get 3.5 million votes. Others would share the remaining votes.

Tinubu will win the southwest, northwest and north central. Atiku would win northeast while Obi would win southeast. South South states would be shared into three. Either the top three candidates win two states each or they would share the states 1-2-3. Whoever wins the south south would win with a very little margin.

At the end Tinubu should win 18 states, Atiku 10 states, Obi 8 states and Kwankwaso 1 state.

Please bookmark this and check after results are announced.

The north will show him that they don't have friends when it comes to Presidential elections.... Not when their sons are involved.

Buhari and his cabals are already showing our Overall Best Skit Maker Northern "Friendship"

The real "Shege Banza" type of friendship will be shown on Saturday.

grin
Baba, northerners are not like your people.

In 1993, Abiola was able to get 5/11 states in the northwest and northeast and also won north central. But southeasterners voted massively against him.

Tinubu will win more states than Abiola in the north. Even the south south Obi has been hoping to clear, Tinubu is going to surprise him.

Just get used to seeing Tinubu as your President because he's winning and would be sworn in May 29th.
PoliticsRe: Can Ahmed Lawan And Gbajabiamila Return To Their Seats If APC Wins by donphilopus: 10:20am On Feb 22, 2023
They can't retain their seats.

When Obasanjo a southerner was President, Senate President came from the south (east) while Speaker came from the north. When Yar'adua from the north was President, Senate President was also from the north (central) while Speaker was from the south (west). When Jonathan won in 2011, Senate President should have come from the south while Speaker north but David Mark from the north was able to retain his seat maybe because he's a Christian northerner from the middle belt.

Looks like there's an unwritten agreement in Nigeria that the Senate President should come from the President's zone while the Speaker from the Vice President's zone.

PoliticsRe: 2023: For Tinubu To Win, He Must Get Up To 80% Of Votes From The North by donphilopus: 7:34pm On Feb 21, 2023
I wouldn't have liked to comment on a thread like this. But I just want to let you know that you know nothing about politics.

Tinubu doesn't need even 50% votes in the core north to win this election. Core north has thirteen states. Seven in the northwest and six in the northeast. If he can win six or seven states there plus winning Kogi, Kwara, Niger and Nasarawa in the north central, that's fine.

In the south, he's clearing the western region. In the south south, we don't play politics of hatred. Obi isn't clearing the south south. Obi, Atiku and Tinubu are sharing the votes here while Obi would clear the east.

With this, does Tinubu still need 80% in the core north?

I shouldn't have commented here o because it's obvious one of the EndSARS kids created the thread. But I've lectured y'all free. Whoever quotes me to say nonsense would be ignored.
PoliticsRe: 2023 Election: My Final Prediction by donphilopus: 7:21pm On Feb 21, 2023
The turnout is large o bros lol.

I have no qualms with the states aside maybe Abia and Rivers. There's no way PDP would get more votes than APC in these states.

PoliticsRe: New Opinion Poll Projects Tinubu’s Victory, Says Apc’ll Win 19 States by donphilopus: 8:36am On Feb 21, 2023
Ttalk:
I want pundits to pay attention to Kano's vote in particular from NW.

Kano is a strong political factor in national politics and it seems political opinion is being shaped in that area which spread and determines the outcome of the election.

Tinubu knows this and had worked so much since 2015 to win the heart of Kano politicians.

I won't be surprised if Tinubu gets a clear win in Kano ahead of Kwakwaso, and if that happens, APC will likely clear the entire NW.

One of the noises that would rent the air from our Obidient brothers will be the cry of rigging. They have failed to pay attention to details in politics and have allowed emotion to rule their judgment. They are going to be bitterly hurt by the outcome of the election
Of these three states, Lagos, Kano and Rivers, a serious contender should be able to boast of winning two. If you can capture two of these three, the possibility of you winning the elections is high.

I believe it's only Tinubu that can boast of that right now. If that happens, he may likely win 17-18 states and then emerge the winner of the election.
PoliticsRe: New Opinion Poll Projects Tinubu’s Victory, Says Apc’ll Win 19 States by donphilopus: 7:08am On Feb 21, 2023
The best poll so far. Although I have some reservations. APC should be able to win six states in the northwest but I doubt if that would happen. If APC is able to win Kano truly, then one of the other states should be given to Atiku.

As for the north central, APC would win the four states given to them. There's no way Atiku can win Benue. With Obi dividing his votes there, APC may likely win or Obi himself winning there. Obi and Atiku should share FCT and Plateau.

In the south south there's no way a single party can win four states. PDP cannot win all the states given to them. APC has a brighter chance than PDP in Edo State. Obidense guys have eaten into PDP's traditional votes in the state. Bayelsa and Cross River are too close to call. The three major contestants in the south south should share the states 1-2-3 or 2-2-2. It can never be 4-2-0.

At the end, Tinubu is winning the elections.

PoliticsRe: PSC Bows To Pressure, Removes Naja’atu From Election Duty by donphilopus(op):
Asiwaju is purely ahead of them.

But Buhari isn't trying though. Why would PSC make someone who was appointed as IGP by Jonathan's government its Chairman? Former IGP Solomon Arase (retd.) was the Chairman of the sub-committee on security of the PDP convention held between October 30 and 31, 2021. Why would such a partisan person be given such a sensitive position?

Anyways, whichever way they want it, Tinubu will win.

The Police Service Commission has replaced the former Director of the Civil Society directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC),…

The Police Service Commission has replaced the former Director of the Civil Society directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed, as one of the coordinators that will supervise conduct of police officers during general forthcoming elections.

Her removal came barely five hours after the ruling APC protested her inclusion among 45 coordinators who will monitor the conduct of the police officers on election duty.

Daily Trust had reported that the Commission assigned Muhammad as one of the coordinators who would supervise the conduct of police officers’ affairs, but the Director Public Affairs and Spokesman of the APC campaign council, Festus Keyamo, in a statement on Monday, said she should be withdrawn immediately.

Keyamo stated in the statement that the appointment is not only “callous, it is insensitive, openly confrontational and consequently unacceptable by the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council”.

But the commission immediately bowed to pressure, saying it had asked a former Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Bawa Lawal (rtd) who is from the same geopolitical zone with Commissioner Najatu to take over the coordination of the monitoring of Police Conduct in the zone.

Ikechukwu Ani, spokesman of the commission, told Daily Trust that “the commission will always be sensitive to the wishes of Nigerians and will continue to contribute it’s quota to the sustenance of the nation’s democracy.”

Ani explained, “The Commission wishes to state with all sense of responsibility that its commissioners representing different geopolitical zones have always supervised assignments of the commission in the geopolitical zones they represent. It was the same with the present national assignment.

“It wishes to restate its commitment to a free and fair 2023 elections where the Police as the lead Agency in internal security which includes election policing will discharge it’s duties according to the dictates of the law.”

The problem with you urchins is, you lie without facts.
Abiola had a poor outing in the core north in 1993, his only saving grace was the Middle belt.
And while we're at it, pay attention that no one has ever won the presidency in Nigeria without carrying the middle belt.

Check below.
Who's this boy? Abiola won in three northwestern states of Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna out of six they had then. In the northeast, he won two out of the five states then. In total he won 5 out of 11 which Tinubu can even surpass now. Was any southeasterner there to reduce Tofa's votes then? No. Tofa won the southeast then. This time around Obi would win there.

Get used to it that Tinubu is your next President.
