Only people that have not left Benin City will think backward Edo State is anything like Lagos State, you can’t compare a city to a town. How many storers is the tallest building in Benin, is there any building in Edo State higher than ordinary 1004 Victoria Island. Most of these Edo cultist youths are not aware that Lagos was the former Federal Capital? Nobody that has ruled Edo State other than Oshiomohle can be a commissioner in Lagos State.

The Otaru's name was never mentioned and has no reason to make a counter publication in that respect..
The Otu of Igarra is the Chairman of The Eziobe Traditional Council in Igarra, which comprise of 9 families of the 14 families in Igarra.
The Otaru has the remaining 5 families under him.

IGARRA – THE Otaru of Igarra, HRH Oba Emmanuel Adeche Saiki II has denied reports that he made a donation of one million naira to the campaign funds of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu when he visited Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State to seek royal blessings.

A statement signed by five palace chiefs of Akoko- Edo which are Odovidi Okomayin, Okomayin Ojo; Oseh, Chief D. A. Ojo; Okomayin, Okomayin Obende; Emah, Emma Adebayo and Ukana Agumagu, Ezekiel Ukanah said Governor Godwin Obaseki and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP visited the palace just like Ize-Iyamu and the APC did for royal blessings.

They said the Otaru of Igarra is non-partisan and he is open to all political parties and politicians.

The statement said some headlines reading “Igarra monarch donates N1m to Ize-Iyamu” was misleading as the said donor did that in his private capacity adding that the donor, which the statement referred to as Joseph Mayaki Akpeji is not the traditional ruler of Igarra.

Part of the state read: “It should be pointed out that Joseph Mayaki Akpeji is someone who holds himself out as the Otu of Igarra. By law, the title of Out of Igarra is a minor chieftaincy exclusive to the Anona family of Igarra and over which the Otaru of Igarra is the prescribed authority (as the Otaru is the Prescribed Authority over the entire Igarra/Akuku Clan). It should be noted that Eziobe Traditional Council is not known to Igarra tradition and Chieftaincy laws of Edo State.

You get the analysis right. Those saying PDP will win Edo south with wide margin forget that POI is also from the same Senatorial district with Obaseki. They will both share the votes. The margin from Edo North will be too much for PDP to catch up with. APC will try to militarize the PDP strong hold like they did in 2019 in the SS and SE. Also there will be sabotage from some PDP stalwarts that still have issues with the way the campaign is been run.

The OP might not be from Edo state but somehow his right to a very large degree with his analysis. PDP need at least 60% or more in Edo south for then to stand a chance at all. I strongly doubt if PDP will win any local government council in Edo NORTH and am seeing APC winning two local government councils in Edo central (Esan central and Esan west) and give a good showing in Esan south and Igueben local government councils respectively. PDP need to do more work in Edo south because it seems they have a little edge there. Even if pdp is to win Edo central the margin will be too low to flip the result to their favour. Please leave the hunter alone but as for the bird, I don't have a say.

Also remember that POI is also a politician with connections in Edo Central. APC will not win Edo central but they will get up to 40% total votes. Edo South where both candidates come from will be shared by the 2. You see Edo central will stand with Oshiomhole and PDP will struggle to get 30% from there. Remember the 2019 election result from Edo North.

Can this traditional rulers borrow wisdom for once, even the all powerful Oba of Benin decided to remain non partisan for obvious reasons but this insignificant chiefs that we don't even know their domain decides to support a candidate, when the opposing candidate wins and decides to treat them with kid gloves they will all be running their mouth
