Wanna thank Comr otokx and stan for their advice on the acceptance fee issue. I finally got it resolved.
comrade, I got another question. When I was filling the eligibility form, I wasn't quite sure what to fill in the Exam no and Centre option of my UTME result. What's the appropriate input for those? |
Education › Re: 2020/2021 UNIPORT Admission Thread Guide by Donpre(m): 2:33pm On Dec 03, 2017 |
otokx: Basic form is still on sale.
We earlier advised candidates not to pay with debit cards because of situations like this.
You will have to visit ICTC to complain which will not be easy as strike starts tomorrow and some places will be on lockdown.
You can try sending an email to ecampus helpdesk.
You can also send an email to etranzact. I actually first tried paying in cash at the bank but that didn't work out either.... Thank you sir, I really do hope ICTC can resolve the issue. |

Comr otokx sir, I have a problem I'm hoping you could help out. I tried paying my acceptance fee on Friday via the debit card method. A message was displayed saying "Transaction Unsuccessful" but I got a mail from etranzact confirming the transaction and the money deducted from my account. Thing is, I couldn't print a receipt as the transaction was unsuccessful and I tried signing in on ecampus but it still says I should proceed to pay acceptance fee. I've waited a day yet nothing. I really don't know what to do next, I am hoping you do.
Also a friend of mine wanted to know he could still pick the basic form |

SamanN: You were very close to killing me, you want me to die of depression? I've not been myself since i saw that. What a relief! seriously? LOl... you shouldn't take things like those to heart. I clearly stated that it was "hearsay" I believe you have done inquires about that your issue from your school. |

SamanN: The "some" were those that Met the merit requirements.
You mean all universities Admission officers don't accept affidavit for Admission? Only Uniport from what I hear. Other schools usually do accept affidavit |
Education › Re: UTME 2017: Thread For Science Jambites by Donpre(m): 8:51pm On Nov 30, 2017 |
SamanN: OAU haven't released a list, some have been offered admission on CAPS I'm guessing you are not among the "some" else we would have heard goodnews. I'm still hoping things works out for you I only want to know how strict the Admission officers are. From what I hear they are quite strict. I'm led to believe the university doesn't accept affidavit for certificates. |

otokx: Never make assumptions, did not comment explicitly on Blm12?
Is it true that JAMB is charging 1000 naira for people to click on accept admission in their portal?
Jamb Admission letter will be on the Jamb portal for a fee as usual. my bad, I apologize for the assumption.. and I haven't heard or seen anything about a charge on the CAPS platform. Would let you know if any development of such arises. thanks! |

dannyboii1: congrats to those admitted into mobs..... please guys can you drop tips on how to prepare well for next jamb
how can we score 300+ in the next utme/post ume
what textbooks are best
help!!!!! Chigala already said enough. Lemme just add that it won't be easy but the reward would be worth it. It's mostly about the past questions and textbooks combo. Follow Chigala's advice and you will definitely attain 300+ additionally, When attempting the past questions, ensure you try to score above 80% in every test. Never settle for less Since you've got less than four months till 2018 utme, I'd say start with your weaknesses. However don't forget to brush up your strengths, say a month to the exams. A very costly mistake I made else my score would have been higher Lastly, try to join a productive study group like this one, https://www.nairaland.com/3704873/utme-2017-thread-science-jambites It was of great help to me when I needed that extra push. They also helped me understand certain hard concepts I couldn't understand on my own but personal study should always come first Goodluck mate! |

otokx: @Sarsay @All
You are welcome, this is part of our giving back to society, creating and spreading the awareness of the admission process so that informed decisions can be made.
If Donpre can finally get his dream course after so many attempts then we all should be encouraged. Somehow I feel flattered by this post. Wanna say a big thank you to you sir. You've been of great help to me, last year and even this year. Thank you very very much to everyone else yet to be admitted, I wanna say there is still hope, but in the event things don't go as planned, then you make them pay next year.
