As long as it is fine with your school and doesn't affect your enrollment that should be fine. My advice is to get a confirmation from your school on this.
2. Try to keep your information clean and avoid too much discrepancies. It naturally shouldn't be a problem but alot of things are changing in CoVID.
If you have the Manchester address, on your visa and it is convenient please stick to it.

If otherwise, and you change address, just explain why if asked at the border (emphasis on IF asked,if not then enjoy your 14days isolation)

I wept for my country.

Oh well.. i was trying to send money home this morning and looked at the exchange rate...though i'm getting a good value for my ££ but wonder how anybody would want to buy £££s now or take all that money to invest in education in the UK.

The direction of the UK economy will be a bit clearer by April next year..by then we will know whether..

1. Leaving the EU is paying off or the consequences is biting

2. The effect of coronavirus will be clearer then

3. EU citizens will not be able to work without papers anymore..level play ground for everyone

4. Will the £ crash? If that happens then studying in the UK will be affordable to foreign students

5. Will universities lower tuition fees, give more incentives to attract foreign students?

6. Will the UK immigration policy change to encourage more foreign students...e.g the unfair IHS and TB test could be removed?


I rather put that money in a low risk investment while i watch how this plays out then i engage in self studying in my interest area, by Sept 2021 i will be more informed and prepared to study in the UK.

I think you're mixing it up with the 28-days requirement.
Even though you have to show the money you need for 28 days prior to your online application, the printed account statement must not be older than 31 days on the date of your biometrics appointment, not online application.
You have up till the day of your biometrics to upload your documents so it shouldn't be a problem.

I was thinking that the account statement shouldn't be more than 31 days before the day of your application(online submission) not the day of your biometrics appointment..

Now I want to know considering the influx of applications now and limited appointment dates, what if the applicant couldn't find a nearer date to the appointment before the account statement 31 days validity elapses, how can one submit a fresh bank statement since he/she had already submitted all documents prior to the biometric appointment?.

You need to show that you've had the money in your account from June 22 - July 20 since that's the 28 days preceding your online application.

Based on the above, your pre-CAS statement can't be used but your account statement from June 9- July 22 as you've stated can be used (The ECO will count 28 days backwards from July 20 which is your submission date). You don't need to start a fresh 28-day count.
If your statement was printed by June 8, you can still use it for your biometrics since it won't be more than 31 days old on the date of your biometrics.
