Let me share my experience with you. yesterday night I was sleeping when my phone rang someone called me pretending to be a road safety officer that my nephew had an accident, I believed they got my number through his phone and that they needed money for an emergency operation. I was scared and I said I needed to talk to the doctor that was attending to him so a lady picked the call. she said she's a doctor and they need emergency money that I should send it now or else they will not attend to him. so asked for her account number which she sent. I was about to transfer the money when the (fake) road safety officer called again that I should send the money because he has deposited the last money he had with him then i thought of it. If he had deposited money the way he claimed most definitely treatment must commenced i became skeptical but I still try making the transfer but network was not good. Then I started receiving Incessant calls that they have not received the money this make me now confirmed my fear that they are scammers. I told them to send me the hospital address which they gave me a fake address. The next day i went to Offa to check on my nephew and i saw him sleeping in the hostel that he misplaced his phone. I'll be dropping their details. people should be aware and careful not to fall into this format.
