Ejay: @ nateboijones, when u're given an appointment letter into civil service, u would be under probation for 3yrs before u become a confirmed staff. So that's why in training college u would be called cadet ASP/INSP. After training u would still be unconfirmed until ur probation period elapses and u would be a full fledged ASP/INSP. I stand to be corrected though.

APPOINTMENT OF ICT PROFESSIONALS INTO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE - ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENTS OF POLICE (ASPs) AND INSPECTORS CADRES.

Following the conclusion of the selection processes conducted for qualified candidates for appointment into the Nigeria Police Force as ICT (Professionals) ASPs and Inspectors, the Police Service Commission hereby release the list of successful candidates appointed as Specialist ASPs and Inspectors.
2. Training of the successful candidates will commence on 19th febuary, 2013at the Police College, Ikeja for the ASPs and Police College, Maiduguri for Inspectors. Candidates who fails to report within seven (7) days of the resumption date will be automatically disqualified. Letters of appointments will be issued to successful candidates at the respective college.
3. It is essential to report at the respective Police Colleges with the following:-
i. Original Credentials;
ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate where applicable;
iii. Original copy of birth certificate;
iv. Medical certificate of fitness;
v. Letter of identification from the Local Government

Dr007: Truth, we just seeking some sort of solace, consolation or better put, emotional support. We have nobody on top, those who have aren't on this forum, they are just smiling and are already assured of outcome. We and I especially love my country so much and feel concerned when I see the way things are done here. But our country doesn't love us back, a case of unrequited love. It only loves those in power or who have people in power. We aint got no option but to support each other emotionally, like someone who has just been ditched by the love of this life!

When are we going to start asking some pertinent questions? When will we start holding our leaders accountable? When will we start to force change and not just hope? Change does not come by hoping and praying but by actions. I WEEP, my brothers and sisters. I weep because the love of my life, my dear country has broken my heart. I weep because my dear country has denied me. Many of the things we pray for in Nigeria are things that should be fundamental in any sane society.

I have finished my first degree, concluded my second and currently enrolled for higher degree. It isn't because of love for knowledge, knowledge is good I know, but so that time doesn't pass me by. So that I don't remain stagnant while waiting for the much anticipated dream job, something that should have come naturally because I have paid my dues, I have studied, I have burned candles!

ACTION, WE NEED NOT HOPE.

Applied for a lecturing job 2011,held a test Dec'11,traveled n waited in lagos till 14th Jan hoping they wld call for interview, those folks didn't invite us for interview until Nov 2012, n can u picture hw long it will take to call to resume ? Good for me I had my retun ticket booked,I simply returned back to my freelance location.
