CBS) -- Chicago State University finds itself at the center of a political dispute involving the newly elected president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu's political rival, Atiku Abubakar, claims that documents showing that Tinubu graduated from Chicago State in 1979 are not authentic, and that is grounds to nullify Tinubu's election victory earlier this year.

According to the People's Gazette, Tinubu submitted the diploma to Nigeria's election commission. It was purportedly issued in 1979 and signed by university President Elnora Daniel. But Daniel didn't arrive at CSU until 1998 and left about ten years later. Submitting false records to the National Election Commission before the vote should nullify the election, Abubaker claims.

At a hearing in Chicago this week, Abubakar's lawyers asked a federal judge to compel CSU officials to turn over Tinubu's academic documents and appear for depositions. Judge Jeffrey Gilbert of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois did not rule on the request.

CSU's lawyer, Michael Hayes, told Gilbert that the university wouldn't be able to certify Tinubu's diploma under oath.

A CSU spokeswoman said the university can confirm the president graduated. However, it cannot authenticate the diploma because it is a ceremonial document that is not part of a student's official academic file.

Again, I ve read the final positions of the lawyers defending BAT and they didn't prove that the votes he got was lawful.

We can see weak technicalities in their response and not the substance of the issues.

The point is, no body should be favoured in the ruling, let the law be followed, the substance of the case addressed, justice is done and seen to be done.

It only shows Atiku's shallowness and desperation. He knows time is not on his hand nearing his 80s, so it's do or die for him. He's only hanging for his own selfish interests, not for Nigeria. Those who are quick run to conclusions should know that if they read the document very well, they will see that this is merely an opinion of the school. The court will have the final say when it eventually rules on the matter.

What Nigerians want to know is between Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Bola Adekunle Tinubu, who graduated from the CSU? Who is male and who is female. It's that simple.

- Atiku Abubakar satisfied all the conditions for Jurisdiction and venue pursuant to section 28 U.S.C. § 1782, which authorizes any “interested person” to request that a United States District Court order the discovery of documents and testimony for use in a foreign proceeding from persons that “reside[] or [are] found” within its District as he (Atiku) is an interested person, and the order for discovery he sought was for use in Abubakar v. INEC & ors pending in the Nigerian Court of Appeal while the respondent CSU is a public university established in Chicago and existing under the laws of Illinois, with principal campus and offices located within the Illinois district.

- Atiku is also requesting “Documents” which include all objects belonging to BAT, tangible or intangible, from which information may be derived, Assignments, periodicals, coursework, photographs, text messages, agreements, correspondence, electronic or other video recordings of any type etc and electronic data which must be produced with all their metadata and the name of the custodians.

This means even if BAT has a football jersey with his name on it or a Lipstick or makeup kit still in the school’s custody, CSU will turn it over to Atiku. Also if CSU has tried to alter anything on their electronic records with respect to BAT, the metadata of the electronic files will expose them and the person in charge (custodian) will be called upon to explain.

- He’s also asking for all documents produced by CSU in response to any request (by subpoena or otherwise) by Mr. Tinubu or any other person for CSU records relating to Mr. Tinubu. This means every document given to Enahoro Ebah, and every document given to Tinubu (the documents Wole Olanipekun tendered) and any other person (including the letter Reno keeps shouting himself hoarse over) should be turned over to he and his team.(We will finally know if Reno officially requested documents or was just grandstanding and modeling in front of CSU)

Atiku also wants the certification they used on all documents and the process of the certification, the drafts of the certification and all communications to from or within CSU on the certifications, and all Documents sufficient to reflect the format, contents, and certifications of CSU diplomas issued by CSU for B.S. degrees from 1979, including documents sufficient to demonstrate any modifications to the format, contents, and certification of CSU diplomas from 1979 to the present. (I know where Atiku is going with this. He is either trying to establish that the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC did not come out of CSU or that all the subsequent documents tendered by Olanipekun SAN on behalf of BAT and referenced in his final address are fakes that either did not come out of CSU or were fraudulently procured and certified with connivance of dirty corrupt CSU officials without the proper certification process of the university or that CSU officials are downright corrupt and compromised

The implication of the latter 2 would be very grave and have a devastating ripple effect. (Imagine the backlash of having a SAN tender Oluwole Pro - Max Documents on your behalf?

- All documents certified by Jamar Orr, Esq. the Deputy General Counsel for CSU or by any other person employed by or acting on behalf of CSU, for use by Mr. Tinubu or any other person or entity in relation to the Nigerian proceedings and if Jamar Orr, Esq is still in service of CSU and if not the reasons for his disengagement.
The way Atiku is going about this thing, any international collaborators will smell jail o! If they collected any money from BAT they shouldn’t spend it yet o!

Something very INTERESTING is happening with the Atiku/BAT’s case in the USA.
A lot of people don’t really know the details but I took my time, went through court documents, did some more researches and brought you a summary.

WALK WITH ME!

So, Atiku’s case in the USA is perhaps the most IMPORTANT part of the electoral Jigsaw puzzle on qualification of BAT for the following reasons:

- One of the constitutional requirements to qualify for election as president in Nigeria is to be educated up to at least the school certificate level or its equivalent.

- BAT listed and submitted Chicago State University (CSU) as the only school he attended on his INEC form EC9. This satisfies (or is equivalent to) the requirement of the constitution.

- Atiku’s US case aims to lift the veil on the foundational documents BAT used to qualify for and gained that admission

- Yes, you guessed right. Documents like transcript, biodata, WAEC result, testimonial from previous school (s) etc.

In summary all such documents that laid the foundation upon which BAT’s subsequent qualifications were built, if they exist, are covered by that subpoena Atiku is in court for.

- If it is confirmed that BAT’s foundational educational documents belonged to someone else i.e a female and that he appropriated someone else’s identity to gain admission into CSU, it would mean that ALL subsequent qualifications built on it, will collapse like a pack of cards due to identity theft/fraud.

CSU will have no choice than to withdraw any certificate awarded to that identity if they are properly petitioned.

- It will definitely become an international scandal (imagine the headlines : Nigerian NARCO Bagman President also guilty of Identity theft)

- On the home front, with the international collapse of his CSU certificate and exposure of the fraudulent foundational documents, he will fall short of that sacred constitutional requirement of being educated up to school certificate level or its equivalent, as there will be NO evidence to prove otherwise (He go explain tire 😊)

- The courts won’t need to ask any questions. From what he filled in his form EC9, he already submitted that he had no other qualification. If CSU certificate fails then he is AUTOMATICALLY deemed as not qualified in the eyes of the Law.

- An international scandal of such dimensions would force the Supreme Court’s hand. If it becomes a notorious international fact that BAT does not have a WAEC/School Cert result or it’s equivalent, they’ll have no choice but to apply the constitution in its strict sense to DISQUALIFY him.

- This is why TINUBU is FIGHTING SO HARD through his Lawyers to prevent this records from being released to the Atiku team

He does not want the Nigerian people or the world to know that HE DOES NOT HAVE THE MINIMUM WAEC QUALIFICATION or ITS EQUIVALENT! and that the documents he’s been parading belong to someone else!

- Atiku is a very ‘wicked adversary’ 😂

He wants to help Nigerians solve a TRANSGENDER mystery.
