Just go for NBC. Access bank for where? Access pay better though but in the long run You will not regret going to NBC. NBC is a multinational that will expose you top notch training and development both within Nigeria and around the world. In terms of job security too,its far better secured that Access bank. The salary is not bad too I believe |

[quote author=bloodyBLOGGER post=40904495]Things to work on before graduation
5. Pride
I remember when I was in my final year at school, I was always happy about what the future held for me. I knew I was going to get a job that pays 350k immediately I graduated. Reality slapped me in the face when my first offer was a job paying 30k. I had no choice but to take the offer cos I was already tired of adding more months to the six months I had spent at home just sleeping. Luckily for me, that job paved the way for a better one cos it gave me the needed experience recruiters want to see on a CV. I've now realise that 350k is only feasible for those in the oil sector and those with huge years of experience, not a fresh graduate who doesn't know his left from his right. As you are about graduating, never see any job as demeaning. Take it up while you continue searching for a better one. This gives you experience. A bird in hand is better than a million in the bush. Remember, you are a nobody and no one gives a damn about you out there. So, drop your pride and use your head and hands or end up spending years still eating your mum's food with insults.
Written by Adewole Segun
This point is very true. Many fresh graduates want jobs that will pay them 300k just after NYSC. While its good to dream and truthfully there are companies that pay as much or even more for fresh blood,MOST of them will not get it. Fact! I doubt if there are up to 2000 of such opportunities in the country as against the tens of thousands of smart graduates with 2.1 minimum. I was a victim of such ego-inspired expectation and I wont advise any of my younger ones to do same. The best bet after NYSC is to try and develop yourself, network, aggressively seek opportunities both within and outside the country, give your best in what you do and keep a reasonable ego. There is also no crime in starting little. Graduate with good grades should note what is above. Experience is also showing that some of the graduates with 2.2 do better than many graduates with better grades overtime. |

DoTheNeedful: I watched the video of Nnamdi Kanu canvassing support for the unity and peace of Nigeria on twitter today and i was surprised. He is worse than Ralph Nwazurike. He is a fraud and hypocrite. His movement his purely political and a PDP project. I initial thought that he is pursuing the Biafran dream purely on ideological ground but he is not. At best,he is working for some top Igbo politicians like Anyim,Rochas,Ekweremadu and so on to actualize Igbo presidency just as OPC and ND militants did for Yoruba presidency in 1999 and Jonathan in 2011 respectively

ogahlouiskid18: The general overseer of God’s Covenant of Christ Sabbath Mission, Amannachi in Orsu Local council Area of Imo State, High Priest Clifford Nmenabu, has made new revelations about Biafra and Nigeria. Dailypost reports that the prophet said he went on a trance where the Lord showed him that Nigeria may be soaked in blood if the federal government fails to release detained Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra. Warning against bloodshed, prophet Mmenabu called on the international community to dab into the biafra situation going on in Nigeria, asking for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

Karlovich: My people let us start agitating for a sophisticated and progressive Odu'a republic. I want us to be as brave as the ibos....if ibos are cowards, they won't be fighting for biafra all these years....
Mind you the rest of nigerians are cowards, not the ibos...it is the British who won the biafran war because British consider Nigeria their property....
Eastern nigeria is British property but biafra is not....Biafra is more or less considered an ibo man property, hence the British refusal to let go....
Nigeria as whole is a British property, and among these slaves, it only the ibos who want freedom, just as it has always been during the slave trade...ibos are not slaves and can never be a slave. ...
I am agitating for my yoruba people to wake up and stop being slaves and O'yes to anything
How many yorubas are agitating for odua republic? How many Hausa / Fulani are agitating for arewastan? How many ijaw is agitating for ijaw republic? Then ask yourselves, my people, how many ibos want to be a Nigeria?
My people stop being Dunces of the century ...Join me and musiwa to agitate for our sophisticated and progressive Odu'a republic Karlovich: I am ibo and from Nnewi. I am ashamed of my ibo people. Nigerians should forgive us for our stupidity We are just sorry because we are jealous of Yorubas We wish we had an origin, history and culture like them. We must be less cowardly and brave like Yorubas who plan better. I say no to Biafra and I know we need Nigeria more than you need us. Please just allow us to be shouting Biafra of the Internet because we are jobless. Nairaland is all we have and even that is owned by a Yoruba man who is nice. We must stop Okija, ritual killings, Osu issue, fraud, fake spare-parts etc We know without you we cannot survive that is why we run to your land Our shame and hopelessness in the face of your superiority is terrible. Even Ijaws are now our bosses and we have been reduced to goats.

Tinubu's power starts and ends in South West alone, excluding Ekiti and to a larger extent Ondo. Local player indeed. Such a local player that PDP had to meet as a party and plead/prevail on their NA members in SS and SE just to checkmate the growing influence of the so called local player. |
Family › Re: My Husband Denies Me Sex And Affection...its Killing Me by DoTheNeedful: 9:28am On Oct 20, 2015 |
Hi55: Thanks to you all for the words of advice and encouragement. To answer some of your questions: yes I have a job, my husband has NEVER been much of the sex type right from the onset but he also doesn't ignore me or sleep in the sitting room like he does now. My problem is majorly the lack of affection and not just sex. I can stay for ages without sex but not when my husband is alive and sleeps under the same roof with me daily. It doesn't just seem right to me. I love my kids beyond words but the truth remains that I'm not married to them so they can't play the role of a husband. The funniest part of it all is that he goes on as if all is well. Someone talked about men being distracted if they have a project at hand. Yes, we have a huge project at hand but I still do not see the connection. I can't masturbate or commit adultery but I can take a walk out of the marriage if things become unbearable for me. I just love him too much and he seems to be taking advantage of that. I NEVER threw myself at him. This life is such an irony because a lot of men are out there begging their wives for intimacy. I just pray he is not cheating on me because if I find out, his family will receive his corpse prematurely. That is one thing I am certain about. Take it easy o. Just because of sex? Why not walk out if you are not comfortable? You will kill him for his family? Then you will be charged for murder and hanged and your children orphan? Haba! You sound selfish. The bolded is the reason why many guy/ladies will still rate their parents and family ahead of their spouses and you lot will be complaining. You will kill him for his family abi? |

I'm not one of those who condemn salary jobs and at the same time I cannot stand to watch anyone condemn entrepreneurship. I'm not even an Entrepreneur, but a regular freelancer who enjoys his job, conversation with clients and relational capital.
Now to the multinational issue. All I asked is the year he finished nysc. Anyone can earn N1m monthly, but saying a fresh graduate in Nigeria earns N1m+/monthly is what I find unbelievable. You could list the average multinational oil firms who pay such. I get you bro. He finished nysc 2 years ago form i can see in his profile.
