At times I laugh at the persecution complex and victim's mentality of our brothers from the other side. Just looking at the pattern of the killings in the coup led by our brothers from the East depicts a lot and can easily be (mis)understood for ethnic killings regardless of how seemingly noble and worthy the cause of the coup plotters might be. Are these same our Igbo brothers that will scream witch-hunt anytime anybody in PDP or some parts of the country is brought to justice for corruption? Why? Because they feel and argue that the fight is lopsided. But come to think of it the killings of 1966 was very lopsided too. I didn't mean my post to be a tribalistic one as I don't do tribalistic shiiiiiiiiiit but I believe every tribe in Nigeria contributed to horrible position we find ourselves today in Nigeria and infact the 1966 coup was a mistake. No tribe should grandstand as saints or pretend to be victims. |
Feraz:It is people like you that are twisting history. The SNG had been holding rallies about the cabals and health of Yar'Adua long before Dora spoke out. Dora was a person I respected but the pressures from outside the government gave her the courage to speak out. We didn't just read about this, I followed everything then because of my support for GEJ. It is funny how some people will try to twist history in order to perpetuate hate and prejudice. |
Hello abujaniv, I just realized that I made a mistake while filling my DS-160 form. I mistakenly entered my current place of residence as my place of birth. I have my place of birth correctly entered on my passport but as it is now, what I have on my DS-160 form is different in that regard. I have already booked a date for my visa interview with this same DS-160 form. I will like to know your opinion about this. Will it affect my visa application negatively? What can I do? My place of birth is Ogun but I mistakenly entered Lagos. Thank you. |

mcebisco01:Judging from the rubbish you paste all over this forum, it is obvious that you a fooolish alarmist that can never succeed in blogging. Anu mpama |
Feminist won't like this. It's still a man's world. Ntoor!! ![]() But seriously, the stress of putting up with two women at the same time is not worth it. I will never try it. |
deb303:By saying this, I assume you are a virgin ![]() |
Stale news. We don hear. I hope you are happy now. I can guess the tribe you represent just by this thread you opened. |
Sariahogbe11:Hello house, has any other person paid sevis via a Nigerian bank. Please indicate. |
Walspring:What about those of us that do not have our transcripts because of the policy of our schools on issuing transcripts to former students? |
Folatush:Thanks! |
Guys,is it possible to fill the DS-160 form before paying visa application fee? I tried filling it a couple of times but I have not been able to move the first page. Please help out. |
It will amaze you the number of married women cheating on their husbands. Thinking men are the main culprits is stereotypical. Blame human that is inherently selfish and leave the gender. |
Even Kennis Music needs support at the moment . |
It is very obvious from the picture that the desperate quest for a male child led to number of children; 9 female and 1 male. Archaic thinking ![]() |
This bbn thing do turn into real political campaign now. I dey wait for my rice and t shirt before I vote for anyone |
Lol... .If you read the initial post and her responses to people's comments, you will see that she is more of a troll . She looks more like average to me though ![]() |
If this is real then the lady has joined the bad gang and some abokee won't sleep tonight ![]() |
Lol @ able bodied men. So na physically challenged men you expect to dey vandalize pipelines? |
femo86:Useless analysis. Do they spend Euros in Nigeria or are you so "smart" to know that cost of living varies from country to country? |
adetola007:I have been following this thread for over two months and I must commend those of you keeping it alive. I check it at least 2-3 times a day and I have been blessed by it. On the issue of GRE score, I think the score should not be over-emphasized above some other key determinants and variables in the application process especially for PhD admission. Infact, once you can make the minimum required score for a program then you are good to go. Most adcoms for PhD programs place a lot of emphasis on SOP and LOR. Your SOP must be very clear as to why you want to go for PhD and you must be able to narrow down totally to what you want to research on and why. You can also identify some unanswered questions in your area(s) of interest. Publications can help one's application also. Another very key aspect for Ph.D is the LOR. Unfortunately, many of our lecturers in Nigeria don't know how to write solid LOR. Hence, it is important that you write a draft yourself the way it should be written, give them to your recommenders and if possible be there with them when they are completing the recommendation form. Apart from the above, research well about a program before applying into it. Visit sites like www.thegradcafe.com to check the average profile of applicants admitted or rejected by your school and program of interest in the past. I will also advise that you check sites like https://www.petersons.com/search/ to check the admission rate of programs you want to apply. If the admission rate for a program is 15%,it won't be advisable for someone with a mediocre profile to apply to such program. I know that most things I have put up here are not new to most people that have applied but it can be useful to those that want to apply in the future. After all is said and done, there is a big factor of grace or luck in getting admission into graduate programs. That's why one might get rejected by a low or unranked program and get admitted into a more prestigious one with the same profile. In some other cases too, your profile and every other thing may be fine but there might be a very few number of slots available for admission. Good luck to everyone expecting favourable decisions and those that have already. |
Wassce:You are confronted with a superior argument and you are calling it blackmail. There is so much hatred and jealousy in your soul. |
Wassce:Just like BMB or Reno? So,to you those people writing positively about Osinbajo at Vanguard,Premium Times etc just joined those organizations in the last two months? It's obvious that you detest the man for his tribe. |
Wassce:You are a clown. Most of the people cheering up Osinbajo are even people that dont like Buhari and the Wailers. You are making this statement because you are from a hate-filled part of the country. Ben Murray-Bruce, Reno, PDP Youths,Vanguard and many other anti-Buhari entities are the ones praising Osinbajo the most. Part of your personal problem with the VP is your hatred for the tribe he represents. |
Lol....Thumbs up to Abati . Those prayers happening all over the North are political. It is funny how much is being made of someone who claim to be on medical vacation in UK yet many others are dying in Southern Kaduna and the silence of these political prayer warriors is very loud. |
DonCortino:I think you are the idiott here. The op and the guy you quoted too are sillyy too. You are so much blinded with hate that you could not realize that Osinbajo was talking about his life as a lecturer. He was a multimillionaire before he became vp. |
sarrki:No be Nigeria, na Niger Republic. |
peekeeks:I finished long ago but not from there but I was a great admirer of the school. |
Iganmode was repping highly also in jamb, waec and JETS competition when I was in sec school. |
Pride... Who she epp I hate it when people especially ladies make this statement. The funny thing is that most people who make such statements end up with people that are not as good as the guys they overlooked. |
The guy too use style collect his own share . Mbegeke ![]() |
