ritchboy: August 26th, 2014, and Nigerians are still talking about "old woman curse", and it's front-paged on the biggest Nigerian website...

lol...u dey mind black people huh? Instead of we Africans to pinch ourselves back to reality undecided,we are still talking about one curse or the other. Get intentional in everything that you do and take your destiny in your hand. If you do that and it doesn't work then come and beat me up. The fact is that many of us are lazy angry or we dont realize that life is not a bed of rose sad. As a result,we tend to blame every thing on curse, witchcraft and so on

maasoap: You are just being paranoid. I read the comments here up to your comment, I didn't see any post that mentioned Islam or linked the achievement to Islam. You are suffering inferiority complex. Get a life.
Maybe u need to read the title of the thread again. So, how do we know she is a muslim if some of your journey men did not link her achievement with islam?

Who is this one undecided? What is there to hate about your religion than backwardness and the fact that it is stone age. For your information, there is no nation in the world with muslim majority population that is technologically advance and worth living. angry angry. Little wonder folks like dont like visiting those nations apart from going to Hajj in Saudi. All of you want to live and study in UK,France,Canada,US and so on. You worship your Allah for centuries yet your regions have not seen any blessing from Allah that can rival the West.
The best countries in Islamic nations are those ones operating the lazy oil economy. No innovation. Nothing lipsrsealed

RayMcBlue: Somehow, the Nairaland Muslims have turned this great feat from the Iranian - which btw has no religious undertone whatsoever - into an Islamic Conquest. Wow! Just Wow! Islamic inferiority complex rearing it's ugly head yet again.
Dont mind them. When Boko Haram bomb innocent people and shout "Allahu Akbar",these same hypocrites will say they are not muslims. sad sad

amilak: You cnt be a so active memeber on nairaland, posting comments , replies and still have a job. Unfortunately nlng or any coy for that matter prefers a candidtae qith years of relevnt wprking experience. This reason may be why kuwena and other active memebers on nairaland then didnt get the nlng job, not because they where active nairalanders but mayb because they dint have relevant working experience compared to their other working class nairaland counterpart who where inactive members of the forum and will only refresh the page only in the morning before work or during break.
Moral lesson? Lets all find one or two things relevant to this job pursuit doing. So when the interviewer asks you 'what can you bring to the table' it wont be just a cup of coffee that comes to mind grin
You are implicitly discouraging others from posting and keeping the thread lively;yet ,you come here silently to read new posts angry. What you wrote up there have just revealed how ignorant you are. While i am supporter of one "getting busy",i want you to know that the position applied for does not require job experience hence the title GT undecided. By the way, that you are idle does mean not that every other person coming here is idle sad.
I wish you good luck as you find something to do. However, i want you to know that those previously employed candidates that scaled the nlng exercise in 2007 did not necessarily make because they had jobs but because they were again able to demonstrate those attributes that got them their previous jobs at maybe(kpmg, pwc, nigerian brewries, banks e.t.c) at the assessment centre. Have you ever wondered why some fresh graduates get more than 3 jobs at a time while others sweat huh.
In conclusion, while you are "getting busy" dont forget develop your job interview skills.Good day wink
PoliticsJihadist Want Islamic Flag To Be Hoisted On Buckingham Palace by DoTheNeedful(op): 1:36pm On Jul 04, 2014
A British Jihadi who claims he is fighting alongside militants in Syria has said he will return to the UK when he sees 'the black flag of Islam' hanging over Buckingham Palace.
The man, who called himself Abu Osama, said he had been taking part in military training, making bombs and fighting with the extremist Al-Nusra Front, which is linked to al Qaida, for the past year.
Osuma, whose accent suggested he comes from the north of England, claimed to have been fighting for the establishment of a caliphate - which he referred to by the Arabic term Khilafah - across the Islamic world.
He told BBC 5 Live's Nicky Campbell: 'There is nothing in Britain - it is just pure evil.
'If and when I come back to Britain it will be when this Khilafah - this Islamic state - comes to conquer Britain and I come to raise the black flag of Islam over Downing Street, over Buckingham Palace, over Tower Bridge and over Big Ben.'
But he added: 'I have no intention of coming back to Britain, because I have come to revive the Islamic Khilafah. I don't want to come back to what I have left behind.
Osuma said he initially faced opposition from his family over his decision to go to Syria, saying: 'At first it was hard for them to accept, because no mother wants to lose her son.
'But I send them photos and I speak to them about the situation, and now they can understand that this is a good cause I am in.
'They are a bit scared but I tell them we will meet in the afterlife. This is just a temporary separation.
'They said, "We understand now what you are doing", and my mother said, "I have sold you to Allah. I don't want to see you again in this world".'

American nurse who was arrested for trying to join ISIS set her Facebook profile to 'slave of Allah': Denver teen also wrote that U.S. women dress like s****' after she was seduced by a Syrian militant
The comments were broadcast as religious leaders called on British Muslims not to travel to Syria and Iraq, amid fears of jihadis fleeing the country to take part in terrorism.
An open letter signed by more than 100 imams from across major theological backgrounds has urged British Muslim communities 'to continue the generous and tireless effort to support all of those affected by the crisis in Syria and unfolding events in Iraq', but to do so 'from the UK in a safe and responsible way'.

The imams' open letter read: 'As the crisis in Syria and Iraq deepens, we the under-signed have come together as a unified voice to urge the British Muslim communities not to fall prey to any form of sectarian divisions or social discord.
'Ramadan, the month of mercy, teaches us the value of unity and perseverance and we urge the British Muslim communities to continue the generous and tireless efforts to support all of those affected by the crisis in Syria and unfolding events in Iraq, but to do so from the UK in a safe and responsible way.'

Another British jihadist fighting for Isis in Syria sent his friends this chilling picture of home-made bombs - and warned that the UK government should be 'afraid' about him returning home
The letter comes during the Islamic festival of Ramadan, but against a troubling backdrop of tensions between the Middle East and the west.
The situation has been underlined by US officials who have stepped up security precautions amid reports that two terror networks are working together on a bomb that could evade existing measures.
Concerns have also been raised about homegrown involvement in terrorism after Britons appeared in a propaganda video for insurgent group Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (Isis).
Among them was aspiring jihadi Aseel Muthana, who told the BBC he was fighting in Syria and had no intention of returning to the UK.
His brother Nasser appeared with two other British men - 20-year-old Reyaad Khan, from Cardiff, and Abdul Raqib Amin, who grew up in Aberdeen.
In April, the Metropolitan Police issued a plea for people to come forward with information about their family members if they were concerned about them joining terrorist training camps in Syria.
Qari Mohammed Asim, imam at Leeds Makka Mosque, who played a key role in organising the new letter, said: 'The scale of the humanitarian disaster in Syria and the escalating violence in Iraq calls for an unprecedented response.
'As we near the end of the first week of Ramadan our message is simple - we have come together to urge British Muslim communities not to fall prey to any form of sectarian divisions or social discord.
'Here in the UK we are Sunnis and Shias, brothers in Islam - and brothers in Britain too. The conflict in Syria and Iraq can never change that, no matter how bitter the fighting.
'We urge members of the community to echo this sentiment by adding their signature to this letter, joining the many others that have done so already.'

I thought about sowing a dangerous seed too but since kuwena(holier than moi) sowed and didn't reap, is it a carnal man like myself that would reap?
I therefore leave every every to Fate, Chance, and God's favour(that's iff HE considers me worthy).
grin grin grin
One fact is that you are more likely to make it with what you have than with prayers. I believe that not everyone working in NLNG today is either a christian or a muslim sad. Many of the celebrated pioneers and inventors are not even religious or spiritual. You are more likely to pass an exam with preparation than with prayers. Religious people will only defend this with the maxim "Work and Pray". When you have a goal in sight working only is likely to get it for you than praying only. Most of the beautiful things of life like good job, family and life are not vested in the hands of religious folks only.

Difference between 4 and 5 years? Check the part i highlighted in your post cool. I hope u are smart enough to understand the correlation between the diff between 4 and 5 and the area i highlighted in your post undecided.

I will not be dragging anything with you any further. You cant change the fact that many people are graduating from universities at 19,20 even those that studied 5 year courses. That u got admission at 21 will not erase that. Deal with it grin cheesy cool

My brother,i studied a 5-year course also cool. If I may ask ,what is the difference between 4 and 5 undecided? The fact is that more people are graduating from the universities at younger ages. When i was serving,a lady friend kiss of mine then clocked 21 during our service year and she studied electrical engr from fut-minnna + ASUU strike.

are u a learner undecided huh?. I was about going for nysc the last time NLNG advertised and i still meet their age requirement for this recruitment.
