The film and Sony webpage painted a very gloomy and dangerous perception of the country's environment, politics and society giving everyone the impression of a jungle inhabited only by savages. The film concorted a Nigerian scenario of violence and civil war dominated by rape, mutilation by machete and child soldiers.

well with the way things are now in Nija I can almost agree with what I watched.I have a genuine concern. I dont knw what our generation would do to Nigeria. will we remain divided or will we unite. God bless me!

Littleone:
I cannot remember if Dele Aiyenugba has sign for a foreign club. My problem with the list is the sparseness of the defence line - 5 defenders in all. I shudder!Probably Egu has his plans. My worries is also the lack of a good substitute for Ayila (the only defensive midfielder) according to me. But Eagles can always soar on with the squad they have. All the best to Egu and the Eagles of dream.
I think Christian Obodo is a Defensive Midfielder. With respect to our strikers, I hope to see the Italian trio and the french duo show their class. However, the number of strikers may cause discord in the team particularly because strikers are the most envious persons in soccer.

question; Is kanu more of a striker than a Midfielder.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Where Did It Go Wrong For Man Utd by DoubleRevv(m): 8:06am On Jan 20, 2006
I think our problem is that we don't have someone that can inspire both on and off the field. we are more of a club than a team. Like you, I believe we will rise again.  We need at least 1 person who understands and can pal up with the palyers and motivate them. I also think SAF needs to bring someone with the charisma and strength of Lampard. Giggsy is old and so is Scholes.
Christiano and Rooney are undisciplined and Fletcher is a mess up.Silvestre too. Ruud is operating a one man show up front with little input from Rooney.

PoliticsRe: Our 'Oil Rich' Nigeria Is Actually Oil Poor! by DoubleRevv(m): 3:59pm On Jan 17, 2006
This may be irrelevant but $15 per month may not be real. As i understand it, this is GDP per capita for 1 month. However the Gdp should include all expenditure( assuming all the monies allocated are spent in the month) that is Government expenditureand expenditure by the private sector. Investments(fdi's) i think should also be added.

Recently i saw an article that  the notion that poor countries have people living on less than $1 may after all be false. The argument being that the most prevalent occupation in such countries is primarily subsistence agriculture, hence most of the populace are self dependent as regards their feeding.
