vaca1:Yes. It's a subsidiary of NNPC. Products and pipelines marketing company |
234biu:You are right that English is only a means of communication. But don't get me wrong, no insults was intended. You could be the Director of petroleum resources tomorrow. Is that how you will address the public? Remember Patience Jonathan |
AAdam:I don't like to do this. But guy please polish your grammar. |
hammer2010:Guy how far. ![]() |
Deykay:It's very possible. But such people obviously have strong God fathers. Not by the same process every other person on this thread is hoping to get the appointment letter |
hammer2010:She is the person to prove me wrong not you. |
hammer2010:She is married. I stand to be corrected tho |
noble4lily:Which one is start up grant? You are only paid upfront after you are confirmed and its majorly housing and furniture allowance. It is paid early January where I work presently |
Permutations and combinations. Keeping the thread alive |
420 pages. Wow. Having read every single page of this thread, I get the feeling that this is the beginning of the end for the thread. The end is in sight. I wish each and every one of the best in life whether employed by DPR or not. We will get there |
My observation is this. There is a pool of questions for each individual. Therefore no two candidates have been asked the same questions. Some interviews lasted only 3 mins, some up to 10 mins. Like I said, you were already being assessed as you came in. A few companies do send scores but they are not obliged to. Some do send regret mails after contacting the successful candidates and some only communicate with the successful candidates afterwards. They are not obliged to communicate to you if they want to have no further interactions with you. My 2cents |
Onyiridike:All the best to you |
Good day house. In my opinion, I can't say whether the interview went well or not. This interview seems to me to be the most difficult interview to ace. You will spend between 3-10 minutes with the panel. The implication is that they will see a snap shot of your person without you knowing it. It is therefore important for you to relax and be yourself. Like I always say, if your best is good enough, you will get there and if not we move on. Most people will come out thinking they have aced the interview whereas the panelist have screened you out. All in all everybody will not be successful, and I want to congratulate the people who will eventually be successful hopefully I will be among them. Put your best into whatever you are doing now cos you never know |
Naysayers are definitely not needed on this thread. If you were not called, just bow out like a gentleman and stop disturbing the thread with your negative posts. Na wetin. Everybody is just giving it a shot, better than not trying. So keep your negativity to yourself. Thank you |
EngrVin:Not being called for the next stage isn't because you are not intelligent. Like I always say, I wrote nothing less than six aptitude tests before I got the job where I work now. If your best is good enough you will get there. Not forgetting that there is factor called favour. Just move on to the next one and keep trying. Don't discourage other people. That was the same thing people said about shell recruitment earlier this year cos they were not called before someone on nairaland later testified he got the job. I'm sure a lot of people following this thread will disagree with some of your comment cos they don't have any insider like you are insinuating. All the best tho. |
I'm thinking the interview could take the form of an assessment centre which is what is being used by most recruiters now. Mini test, group discussion, presentation, competency based interview(e.g- tell us about when you were able to solve so so problem.) And in case it doesn't take that form, go to their website, the roles of DPR, core values etc. All the best guys |
tolesky:@found wanting. Issokay. Continuuuu ![]() |
dayjahvoo:Rotfl ![]() |
madri4u:Guy, you are far from reality. What will be will be. Hundreds of people got mails and SMS. And a number of followers on this thread can attest to that. Talk another thing abeg. |
Abraham92:It's network. It could be the website or your network provider. I will advise you try logging in with a PC if you are not using one already |
For guys who are to update their info, It appears the order is Nysc Discharge cert. Degree Certificate. Secondary school leaving Cert. I applied as GT and its like those are the three required documents for GT I observed that my Nysc discharge was uploaded twice, so I deleted and re-added in the stated order. Guys you can download and re-confirm that your required documents are intact on the portal |
Finally the thread has left the sharing questions Vs not sharing questions palava. Now it is obvious that sharing or not sharing did not decide who and who is proceeding to the next stage. Just do your best and leave the rest. ... And if you are not successful here, just move on. |
If your portal is still accessible: say Hi.... If yours is portal closesd: Say NE. Let's see which population is larger |
@GMB4real, @Fatdick, @Fayenis. Your input is highly required at this point. The latest stage of this recruitment is application closed Vs application editable. Those that were not shortlisted for the test have their application portal closed. And DPR did say it categorically that any information or development will be communicated via the application portal. If your portal is closed at this point, it's in your best interest to move on. Many other opportunities will come. I remember writing about 7 aptitude tests before getting the job where I work presently. One application turned down is not the end of the road. And for those who are 'obviously' still in the race, like I said before, what will be will be. But please house is there any OND applicant on nairaland with changes to his/her application portal? |
Crystalng:I assume they have very strong link in snapnet which is very possible. But the reality on ground is that only very few people have any valid info on when the next stage will commence. |
Two guys in the other thread claimed to have seen their test results. 62.5% and 60%. Mek we dey look |
The people that applied with OND wrote their tests about two weeks before the GT and EH applicants. Is there non of them following this thread? Any info from them will be appreciated? |
From the little info I have, those with pending applications have been changed to application rejected and they cannot access the portal anymore. I guess those who wrote the test will find out if they made it to the next stage via the portal since they can still access it and considering the public notice made by DPR. |
I'm surprised by the level of childishness being displayed on this thread. But let me add this... The fact that you were shortlisted for a test and the other was not does not in any way mean you are more intelligent. You were only more favoured. I was fortunate to be shortlisted for about 6 aptitude tests before I later got the Job at where I work presently over 3 years now. I can confidently tell you that there are intelligent guys out there who were just not as favoured. Don't talk down anyone, don't intimidate anyone. If DPR is your father's property kindly tap the unfollow button. It's that easy |
Having observed this thread silently, I think I will need to wade in on this connection or no connection; merit or no merit. In this country, people get jobs on merit and that is a fact. People get jobs by connection and that is also a fact. I work in a very reputable firm in Nigeria; I and my colleagues got the job on merit as entry level. In my firm someone else with virtually same qualifications got the job by connection and started on about six grades higher than ours. Both facts are real. Believe whatever you want to believe. If I were a Dangote, I will definitely make my son the GM, it's as simple as that. Like I said, Just put in your best and if it is good enough, you will get there and if it is not, there is no point dying over it. Life goes on.... |
vinas:Bro You dey here sef. I sight you. How the audit and tax things. ![]() |
