bloody hell, the man stores it under his bed.

Methinks Hunter's a good gamble.Every player that comes to United gets better with constant involvement.Compare Ronaldo now to when he first came to OT. Hunter will definitely bloom into a top United star. Hez got great potential.

im telling you, this is what we need right here,

Roque will fit perfectly into our team. Right foot, left foot, headers, he is class and very under-rated, just that he was very unlucky with injuries at Bayern. He wouldn't cost that much to purchase and he is already used to the EPL, I think he could guarantee at least 20 per season.

I like Huntelaar but I'm not sure whether he will be able to cope with the physical challenge of the premiership. Huntelaar will be a gamble.
What do u guys think?
I think Huntelaar will not be fazed by the physical challenge. He looks a pretty strong boy

I disagree A-40

Has AW ever played his game like that in the past? Think back - even in the times of Reyes and Baptistadid you ever hear anything official from Arsenal till the deals either went through or failed?

The obvious gaps? well in my opinion, the key is getting our players as fit as possible before the new season. We do need a few additions, and we will get them either now or on te night of the 31st of August. We have bought one player and will be buying another one soon, as well as having a player return from loan in Vela. In my view, that is 3 in, 2 out. . . essentially a neutral position.

I don't think something is wrong in that sense, unless at the end of the transfer season we haven't seen any telling moves by le boss and we can't see any likely solution in-house emerging from the pre-season games. Anything before that is simply scare mongering.

No one knows how many players will leave Chelski this summer, or Liverpool for that matter - who just lost their second choice striker in Crouch. There is still a long way to go and we will see moves. Just be patient, if on 31/08/08 we have lost Flam, Hleb and maybe Ade and no entrants or replacements then worry. AW knows what he is doing; it may look confusing, but I still believe he knows what he's doing.
Optimism gba. . . . .Lol

You must believe in Vision 2020

The fact remains, he needs to spend some money. If not for talent alone, but to restore some self belief in this team.
The gradual erosion of their confidence will not be reversed with playing essentially the same team.

I hear there is a Doyin Tomato making big waves in the local leagues in Clapham, London over there.
Now, a player like that could do wonders for this gunners team grin grin

Torres never scored more than 20 goals in a season because he played with amateurs at Athletico Madrid.
How many goals will Ronaldo score with Derby County or Charlton Athletic??
One must wonder how Christian Vieri and Hasselbank were able to score more than 20 playing
with this said amateurs

This babe be like thunder and sunshine at the same time
a sudden cataclysm of violent passion interpersing an almost incessant dispersal of warmth.

Her unpredictability is my undoing, my fatal attraction cloaked in the most demure of physical expressions

How can hands that rub so gently, possess nails that dig so deeply

How can lips that kiss so sensually don teeth that bite with Dracula disdain

How can legs that tease the hairs so gently, wrap around my waist so tightly.

Literature › My Reacquaintance With Those Pacesetter Novels by doyin13(op): 3:05am On Jul 10, 2008
Isn't it just so disheartening when those experiences that gave you pleasure
in your earlier years fail to give the same spark when you come across them again.
For example, you watch those comedic shows of your childhood and wonder what you
found funny in the first place. You almost laugh in sympathy or is it derision at your kindeargaten/pubescent
naivette.

I was dreading the same personal emotional transformation, after I ordered a pacesetter novel online. Who can forget those
pacesetter novels. With those funny illustrations on the cover and catchy titles. It took me no more than a sitting to read a title,
a worthy companion those lonely nights in boarding school.

The title I ordered was ''Teardrops at Sunset'', one I hadn't read before. And well, was the spark still evident.
Hmm. . .somewhat. My literary palate has obviously matured with age and I am a lot more critical now than I was then.
In places, the book read like the writing of an imaginative secondary school pupil whose primary abilty was spinning a good yarn.
Trouble was about to 'burst' in some instances for example, or characters were crossing 'parlours' to enter their bedrooms. Adequate English
at best.

But the storyline, as it should be at this level, is its saving grace. It is almost compelling at times, and slightly ridiculous in others with obvious holes.
Of course these books are meant for a much younger audience than this old daddy. And looking back, I am less harsh on myself for being so enamoured
with this series. As a matter of fact I have just ordered a few more from the series grin Guilty Pleasures eh

Well since we are comparing . . . . .

Torres was bought for how much last season? Lets say 25 million and I am being generous.

He is how old? 23/24. Veron was bought for 27 million in 2001 shocked

And you must also calculate for inflation. 27million in 2001 at an annual inflation rate of 3%. Euro wide of course.
Do the maths.

Add on the additional 15 mil Chelsea forked out for him. . . .

Equals MEGAFLOP

Well if he can stay healthy sha. . . .All in all, a better deal than the Josh Smith signing
they were considering. That would have been a disaster.

But how about the Clippers. . . .They sign Baron, but then lose Brand and now look like
they will lose Maggette.

The Warriors also move forward to go backwards, if Maggette signs for them. That would
mean Monta Ellis moves to the point. Not a terrible move, cause brother was almost unstoppable
at times last season.
