As a general comment. , . . . .

It sure is quiet on the Chelsea front sha.

Only the ageing legs of Deco have been secured this season.

What say you Chelsea fans?

CH3COO:
misinterpretation doyin.  you can subdue a woman without having to hit her like a beast.  you are a man are you not?
But I have heard of cases where, attempts at gentle subjugation have led to death believe it or not.

LadyT:

Jungle Justise indeed you big whimp.  I doubt you have ever shouted at a woman in your whole life.  Shior

Cristalz when does she deserve it? Where do you begin to draw the line?
So due to the difficulty of drawing a line, a man should summarily renounce his rights to physical
force in restraining a lady.

Queenisha:
YThere's absolutely no reason for a woman or man to lay hands on each other.
That concept is too much for many men boys on this thread to grasp
I hope you never pay for your naivete sha. . . . . . .

There are some women that understand only Jungle justice.

If you don't apply the iron hand, there will simply take it as a sign of weakness and
ride roughshod over you. . . . .literally

Cristalz's position is not as unreasonable as you people are making out. . . ,

Are you lot trying to tell me, there is no situation where a man should be allowed to hit a woman?

For whatever reason

And make una no patronise am now with all this 'grown' talk
Romance › Re: Yes I Slap Her: by doyin13(m): 9:06pm On Jul 18, 2008
What I do not understand about this domestic violence thingy is where we draw the line.

What if in the delirium of sexual intercourse, a guy is moved to slap his woman to stop her
from moaning too loud. . . . .

Cristalz:
@I'm being objective here. Fact is some women take the 'treat her like a lady' thing for granted. They use it as an opportunity to disrespect their men because they've got immunity. I just don't think its fair to the men.

Note that i mentioned two scenarios. One deserved a slap, one didn't.By default,i'm not for female bashing, but girl, there are some nasty women out there o.I feel if a woman behaves unreasonably and cruelly,a slap is in order.
What do you want a man to do whose wife insults his family and treats them like trash or disrespects his friends? Beg her to stop? A good woman should be treated like royalty, but a bad one should get what she deserves. Its only fair. That's why i wanted to know what exactly the poster's girl said to the caller to deserve the slap.
Good points jare. . . . . . .All these Jamo girls for London.

Hitting them is part of the job description
Romance › Re: Yes I Slap Her: by doyin13(m): 8:32pm On Jul 18, 2008
I agree with Hannibal jare. . . .

Some women actually want you to hit them.

If you refuse, they would think you are less of a man. . . .

I wouldn't say A-Rod is overpaid in NY. But he sure was overpaid when he was at the Rangers.
Unlike Bonds at the Giants, he wasn't able to pull the punters in.

And besides, this man will break the home run record soon. that has to be worth a few bob.

And I used to find baseball boring, until I got into the intricacies of pitching, all the fastballs, sliders, changeups.
I do watch Cricket as well and a match takes 5days.  shocked

On the Artest trade. . . .he might cause a few kasala in the locker room, but he can ball and he is cheap.
He can average 20 points, 7 boards and be a defensive menace, and he is paid only 7 mils per season.
Shawn Marion does just about the same thing, and he gets up to 15 mils per. . , GO FIGURE.

Politics › Re: Has Fashola Really Done Anything In Lagos State? by doyin13(m): 7:13pm On Jul 18, 2008
initiator:
If Fashola's "performance" turns into a partisan debate, the first victim would be truth. Truth be told: Fashola has shown to some degree that he understands what it takes to manage a modern city. He uses the right words,
Problem is the praises have come too early. He is now so celebrated by segments of the media that we hear more of what he would do than what he is doing. The work in Lagos is so ENORMOUS that it required sober dilligence and not premature flattery.

His greenery is good but it has to be part of a wholistic infrastructural programme. Having flowers beside horrible roads doesn't make sense - AT ALL!

The only major road "commissioned" by his administration (started by Tinubu) is the 2km Ozumba express which has mysteriously stopped.

The guy must pull-off his sleves and carry-out a serious infrastructural renewal and stop employing LAMATA people to clean the drains as the park the heap by the side of the road only for it to be flushed into the drains by the rains.

The drainage problem in Lagos needs supreme engineering, some of whom have to be imported, not the paltry thing we have now.

By the way, i support his present demolition exercise just as i supported elRufai and Abuja is the better for it.

The morale of the story: Fashola and the press should shut up and get to work!!
Spot on. . . .

That would be the Valencia match. Important match as well, to determine who took fourth spot that season.

Rivaldo scored a hatrick, capped off by that bicycle kick.

Pertaining to footy alone. . . .I have to say my vote goes to Ronaldinho's hocus pocus.

This reminds me of Obj's 'state' visit to the Uk a few years back. . . .

They thought so highly of Baba then, they saddled him with Ex-PM James Callaghan
to give a tour of Westminster.

Its a shame the Tories are not in power. . . .The picture of Maggie Thatcher

Hannibal:
Doyin13, i ain't impressed about your grammar. . . . I am not a chic so save that for the court rooms.

Andy Cole, Thierry Henry and Inzaghi in Adebayor's category. . . .
You must be smoking woolies. . . . . . .
How can u come here and say Adebayor is an example of the traditional centre forward/out n out striker??
Do u really know your football? angry angry angry angry

Your analysis is putrescent. tongue
So Thierry is an out and out forward in the Shearer, Nistelrooy mode?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by doyin13(m): 11:21pm On Jul 17, 2008
LOL. . . .

I remember Andy Cole had a notorious conversion rate as well, and Fergie saw fit to use
him for multiple seasons.

Thierry Henry also missed a few chances in his time, overlooked because of other things he did.

And if you want to talk about Offsides, Inzaghi practically made a living out of it.

And besides, Carlo Ancelotti would not be willing to pay a ridiculous amount on a player he doesn't deem class
would he.

You really should learn to be magnanimous Hannibal. . . . . . . . .Parochial Partisanship is errrr so Pubescent. tongue tongue tongue grin

Please, resident theologians, the cue for Jesus to make his second coming will
be in place when every single person on earth has heard the gospel.

If that be the case, surely it would behove us to halt the unceasing spread of the word.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by doyin13(m): 10:44pm On Jul 17, 2008
Hannibal:
Adebayor is not the old centre forward like Torres with verve and panache.
Manu is just a work horse . . . no football brain, no goal sense. . . . he is the poor man's Van Nistelrooy. . . .no CLASS!!!
When u are talking about poachers. . . . we are talking about seasoned out n out striker(Butragueno, Shearer, Careca, Batistuta, Zamorano).
Hmm. . . .If another argument comes up on Torres, you will probably point to his lack of goals at Athletico.

You are twisting the facts to suit different arguments Hannibal.

Adebayor has a lot of qualities that make him classy, and I suspect you know it.
