In Miami, they should sack O'Reilly

I still havent forgiven him(when he coached the knicks) for sinking the
NBA into a mire of play calling.

And at the heat, he let a solid supporting cast of Posey and House go.

Plus their two stars are well fading a bit. . .

Dudu is a dud. He has no pace nor physical xteristics to cut it in this league.

Nor does he have the technical nous(a la Hleb or Rosicky) to overcome his physical shortcomings

@Jackal

blue collar teams like Pompey represent the true spirit of the game. . .we aint loaded but we still pack heat

But the Arsenals and Uniteds and Kopites and Czars have devalued the whole championship. . .

Anyways back to the footie. . .

Now of course I was being facetious about Ronaldo. . .

but if i were given the choice between Fabrgas and Ronaldo, it has to be Fabregas I am afraid.

Ronaldo's brilliance is unpredictable, erratic and has gone missing in many big games, while Fabregas establishes control in a game
He is also not a defensive liability.

Jackal you should know better than to measure a players ability than through how many goals they score.
The Yak, Shearer, Vieir, who's who of lucky bastards were all so called goal scorer's but couldn't play the ball to save their life.

And no of assists is not a good indication either. Solano has led the league in assists before and he aint no world star. . .

So the stats do not give the whole story. . .

For the number of times Ronaldo has gone past a player, he has equally lost the ball looking like a fool. . .

Fab on the other hand is stellar in possession. . .and judicious in his team play

Definitely Fab for me

Why dont I flip it around and ask you what the hell Ronaldo does that Fabregas cant do. . .apart from tap dancing that is.

With the way Ronaldo plays, shouldn't you guys be admonishing him to pass the ball more often. . .

Darren Macfadden. . .its a shame that he has to come second two years in a row.

I think against Florida State and he was simply outstanding.

true talk @ a-40
did any of you peeps see the cavs loss to the celts it was nice and that just proves how good a player can be if placed in the right team thats why KB needs to leave lakers and VC needs to leave nets
Are you really mentioning that Celts win over the Cavs. One of the worst games of ball between two Eastern Conference contenders-----and Lebron was missing.

But expect the Cavs to step up markedly with the return of Verajao.

And forget it KOBE is not going to leave the Lakers. They actually have a decent unit over there, especially with their second unit. They need Lamar Odom to step up though. He should be creating more matchup problems with his size and skills.

The Nets need a trade? hMMMM. . . I just think they need to move the hell out of NEW Jersey.

No doubt he will develop into a good player. but not at Arsenal at least with this cerebral game that the team has adopted.

You will find players on other teams e.g Ronaldo, who are a bit feet-happy, but make up for it with exceptional one on one skills. Walcott unfortunately has not shown me that he has those sort of skills. I do wish the lad well, but he is more Jason Roberts than Thierry Henry in my opinion.
Sports › Re: For Gunners (no Uninvited Guests Pls) by doyin13(m): 8:13pm On Dec 01, 2007
The more I see of this Walcott kid, the more I suspect he is going to be a dud. . .His team game needs serious work.

I know he is still young but he should be progressing somewhat by now.

Hleb though was a stud today. His game is perfect for a team like Villa. Ran circles round them especially in the first half.

Good tactical change by O'Neill in the second half though. Overwhelmed the central midfield pairing of Flamini and Diarra.
Gilberto should probably have been brought on sooner.

But the second half display shows this team has some resillience.

Man Utd. . . .Over to you undecided

I am tired of blaming the politicians. Just tired . . . .Exhausted simply thinking about it.

A convoy of 50. . .for christs sake. 50 thieves.

But are we not complicit in this whole mess. For all the instances we choose to reify a money induced
lifestyle, for all the times we keep quiet in the hope that one day we too can divert a share of the nation's loot
for ouselves, and for all the times we simply act as cowards in the face of inhumane tyranny, for all these
times, have we not laid the foundations for these all to frequent outbursts of violence.

I am almost in tears. . .

Kobojunkie:
I don't think that will fly in the REAL WORLD @mdsocks. I have read up on the profile of many of the hardline muslims around the world and I must say, they are well educated people who do this. This has nothing to do with a lack of education. Infact, I was listening on the BBC the other day and one of the many guys who called for her to be punished happened to have not only great command of the English language but he happened to hold masters or two. If you take time to check the profile of many of the known terrorists from around the world, you may see that we are talking of people here who were educated as doctors, pilots or even engineers. What can education do in these cases?? Why are uneducated people in the same region of other beliefs not crying for similar?? Infact, right there in Nigeria. Why are the uneducated not the ones causing commotion?? Education can only do so much but it can not change hardened mind. Remember the recent incident at the Airport in the UK or take a look at the situation in Canada or even in Denmark, many of these islamists who have these harsh views are well educated people.
