frankly, saying he is africas best isnt saying much at the moment crop of talent is dire |
they ended the 4th qtr with a 12-1 run. very nice. |
even monkey mama like monkey |
Davydenko to win |
I like nash mainly because he shows you dont need to jump out of the gym as long as you keep your wits about you on the court. And unlike all this brash black basketball players with little talent who make a lot of noise he is humble to boot. |
but i would bet you have a better chance of getting away with it in Portugal than the UK. About your friends, I insist to my own friends that Nigeria is as safe as any place in the world! |
If saha didn't get injured too much he would have been a fit for arsenal. I get the feeling ferguson is trying to get rid of him. The defence is also going to need a big man, at least six foot two. Toure is a marque defender but he can be found wanting sometimes against big powerful forwards and a bit overaggressive. he struggled noticeably against Crouch and Nade of Sheffield Utd! Eboue can be liable defensively sometimes although he is great going forward. Gallas is not the tallest, if not, otherwise he is pound for pound best defender in the world. With Adebayor, perhaps what they need now is a winger who is a constant threat and who is prepared to cross the ball. Players like Clichy, Eboue and eespecially the Belarusian (I forgot his name) try to rely too much on playing to feet an the one two. Pleasant to watch but can be predictable. It might also bring another dimension to Henry's game because he has a prodigious leap. C Ronaldo has reaped the benefits this season of his abilities in this area. |
perhaps less chance of getting caught in Portugal |
ronaldinho fabregas iniesta |
the mere thought of beckham winning makes me rule out real wining str8 away. Such a mono talented player does not deserve any sympathies. But considering my luck lately he probably will. Barca to win. team of genuine talent. |
Such pedantry, |
Golden state lost. Suns lost. Terrible. It was a terrible weekend of sports for me. Lets hoe the midweek makes up for it. Go Suns Bulls Warriors and Cavs. |
fasting and praying never hurt anyone. All hail the messiah |
i think he is trying to recreate the situation a few years bck where he had no coach and was winning everything in sight. He seemed to play with an appealing abandon then, that maybe his coach has been tryin to refine. Personally I don't like the idea of coaches after you are twenty. |
you mean a whole 3sc are relegated |
i hope gonzalez will save me from starvation |
my food has lost its taste |
this is ridiculous. where does nadal get the power. na jazz o |
Davydenko is really pushing Nadal, but he is already a set down. At least he has managed to break Nadal more than anybody has done this season. There is hope |
He put kirilenko on a poster. MVP |
I know gerrard is a better player, but lampard is very good where it matters most, and that is at scoring goals. But i have always got the feeling that gerrard would reach greater heights if he had a manager who doesn't try to scheme him out of games, like play him on the right side of midfield! |
did you see baron davis for the warriors last night? if you haven't you missed. Brother put on a show. Awesome |
i know everyone croons over the skills of Tim Duncan, but my god he is so boring. When I heard he swore at that ref(the name fails me) I was pleasantly surprised. ony parke and Manu ginobili are alright but they can't compare with the vivacity of nash, stoudemire, bell and the brazillian kid(my memory is a bit porous tonigt). Closest to them in the palayoffs are the anarchic warriors. IF only they can just get past the jazz. |
I can only comprehensively remember an ace up my sleeve. One of his novels was dramatized. It was 'Palmetto' starring Woody Harrelson and Liz Shue. Steamy sex scene included. |
I read hollywood wives and hollwood husbands in the early 90's. Enjoyed them then, but on reflection must be the worst books i ever read, probably on a par with the hadley chase novels. The collins novels were extended gossip sheets. Terrible. |
Dallas deserved to lose because they relied on a star who relied too much on his jump shot. No inside game. I don't know why no one has mentioned the suns. Best team playing and to watch. If there is any justice in the world they will win. |
i saw the match today. its simply not fair. Djokovic did not play badly but nadal just chased everything down. they should ban him(nadal) from claylike they ban nigerian actors and actresses. I am not looking forward to seeing this kind of dominance for too long. Remember Sampras on grass. There is nothing wrong with consistently winning, but at least show some vulnerability. At no time did he look in danger of losing today. Some would say awesome, i say terrorism. |
I think its getting a bit tired now to be honest. They also refused to play them at the last world cup in south africa. On the other hand, the Afrikaans might not have hastened the end of apartheid if they were not missing their rugby. |
Djokovic has already lost his first game on serve. Terrible |
@daividlyan Pete Sampras is regarded as a great, but his best at the French was a semi final berth. If not for Nadal, Federer would probably be one or two French up. Nadal's dominace of the clay reminds me so much of Kuerten's dominance a few years back. He is now one of the 'where are they now' crew. |
best game was south africa sri lanka. Latish Malinga almost made Graeme Smith 'double in age'. Shame about Lara. SA need some spinning attack Pakistan cannot win without Akhtar and Asif. The end of the West Indies as a force is confirmed. and I hate the Aussies |
