I am pretty sure he is going to win 14 and surpass it as well. Unlike you guys i dont think he is as great as you say he is. In another era he wouldn't win five wimbledons. I dont know what is wrong with the players on grass now playing from the baseline. If Edberg or Becker were still around, or Ivanisevic might have had more than the one. The grass is still thesame and the serve and volley is still most suited for it.

This was Rafa's chance. I can't believe he did not break in the fifth, especially as he seemed to have come to grips with the Federer serve.

I have a feeling someone else will show up on the scene next year. I bet Ancic or Djokovic or Gasquet(hes serve is improving and can make shots)

For the greatest ever, Federer's backhand certainly is poor and prone, especially to the high bounce.A two handed backhand or better backhand will murder that Nadal second serve. Federer kept having to move to the forehand.

Anyhow till next year.

Sports › Re: Riquelme by doyin13(m): 8:14pm On Jun 14, 2007
Riquelme will be great in England. There are so incapable of holding the ball that any body with such talents will succeed in England.

I would suggest Newcatle.

About the missed pen. Look what good it did Arsenal in the Final. grin

Shame she had to get stabbed there.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Will Thierry Henry Leave Arsenal. by doyin13(m): 3:55pm On Jun 09, 2007
But if I were an Arsenal fan, I would not fret. Players are ultimately replaceable, even Henry.

Even if Henry doesn't leave, Arsenal still need a Secondary scorer with both Pires and Ljunberg gone.

I wouldn't rest my hopes on Adebayor or Walcott or Hleb etc.

As wonderful as I think Fabregas is, he needs to score more goals as well.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Didier Drogba And Peter Crouch Who Is More Skillfull ? by doyin13(m): 3:51pm On Jun 09, 2007
For a clumsy looking tall guy, Crouch has very good ball control.

Drogba vacillates between awesome and ridiculously awful.

I would rather have the Drog in my team though.

So far it looks like Alonso all the way.

What the hell is going on with Raikonnen. If he doesn't show up then Mclaren will claim both driver and constructors title.

Massa still too erratic.

I am hoping Alonso crashes and Hamilton wins.

I can't believe i forgot that one. Probably the most intense derby at least in the British Isles.

Goes way beyond football.

I used to be hooked on the books, but after a while they ge so formulaic and fantastic.

The dialogue is also pretty mechanic and unralistic.

I now categorise him in the 'pop' group of authors with the sheldons, collins etc.

funny that these authors seem to be popular on these forums.duh

I guess that's pop for u

Men those serbian babes fine sha. Especially that Ivanovic. And Jankovic looks bundalicious (although she can't beat super bunda Serena).

Who knows. I might just start to watch women's tennis.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Rjikaard And Barcelona by doyin13(m): 12:00am On Jun 09, 2007
I think the whole Barca thing is just a shame.

If any of the playas leave as it looks as it looks as they might, they will be missing out on consolidating their legacy.

Simply put this team has played the best football in Europe since the Great Ajax team of the mid 90's.

I always felt the signings of Zambrotta and Thuram would destabilise the team as would any injuries.

This was the case. I just feel they shuld return to the status quo and if Deco should leave it would give gudjonsen a better chance to be mor involved.

doyin13:
Jay Jay = god

Mikel Obi = mere mortal
I make this statement based on personal experience.

It was in 1995 when Nigeria was playing in Saudi Arabia in the Intercontinental Cup.

This was Jay Jay in his heydays, when he was dazzling Wembley or bamboozling those upstarts at Old Trafford in the C/league with Fenerbache.

This particular match, NTA was not offering any commentary so we had to listen to a constant deluge of Arabic.

Okocha was on fire that day. He was using his whole repertoire, and it all became too much for the dazed arabic commentator.

He screamed: 'Okocha, Okocha, Okocha, Allahu Akbar

God bless jay jay

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Biggest Derbies? by doyin13(op): 11:41pm On Jun 08, 2007
I guess we are all so eurocentric.

NO one has mentioned the likes of the Buenos Aires derby btw River and Boca or the Cairo derby between

Al Ahly and Zamalek.

Even in Europe, the likes of Ajax-Psv/Feyenoord, or the Ruhr valley derby btw Schalke and Dortmund, which after the classico is the most attended derby in the world.

Let alone the violence of the Istanbul matches btw Besiktas Galatasary and Fernerbache
