Politics › Re: What if the civil war in Nigeria was a success? by doyin13(m): 4:04pm On Jan 03, 2009
Honestly. . . .I don't blame the Igbo separatists.

I find it very annoying though, they keep harping on about
us holding them back.

Fact is, Nigeria will not aid you in self -elevation, but by and large,
the system does not actively seek to destroy you at every juncture
either, as has been claimed here.

Fine, seek to go your separate way, but don't come with claptrap, like
but for the rest of the country, Igboland would have been the Japan of
Africa.

Sound like excuses to me. And I thought the Igbos don't do excuses.

Happy new year everyone. wink I wonder how Sisikill writes on and on. What's the secret?? tongue I need such skills when it comes to writing a ten page paper. It's so frustrating when all you know can be written in just two pages!!! angry

@topic

Okay now. . . I have held off because I am naturally level headed

But jeez, I have had enough, enough enough, enough

WHAT THE HECK IS IT WITH UMBRELLAS AND HOOVERS.

angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

First Hoovers. . .well I can't complain about the first one.
It was a cheapie from Asda. And unsurprisingly after working
for about two months, it revealed its true colours and seemed to
expunge more dirt from than it produced from an exhaust I never found.
See Juju.

Okay. . . .fine. I decide I will stop being a cheapskate and expend money on
a reliable longstanding efficient hoover.

So I get a Phillips vacuum cleaner, bagless, cute, and it sounded like an aeroplane.
It looked so good, anytime my friends came around, I would find an excuse to want
to clean my living room.

But then it all went bananas. Apparently, it was allergic to toothpicks. One suck, and the hose
developed holes. Thankfully I had it insured. THere I go, returning it to Argos and getting a brand
new one. Nothing spoil. Well nothing spoil until, I discovered it had other allergies. It sucked a coin
by mistake, and it went kaput. Insurance run out and one hundred and twenty pounds gone,, I had to
invest in another cleaner angry angry angry

Well I decided I wasn't going to spend that much again. I will for the mid option instead. Not too expensive, not
too cheap. I get a samsung, and on first trial, what a dream, The suction was so powerful, it almost sucked me
in its vortex. But slowly and surely, the suction got less and less powerful, till it totally gave uppppppppppppp

angry angry angry angry angry angry ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I have kuku ma bought some traditional nigerian broom. A bit more physical expense but at least I know what I
am getting grin grin grin

As for Umbrellas. I am tired of being embarassed by these useless contraptions.

There I am looking all debonair, in my suit and macintosh, shielded from the rain, or so I thought, by a seemingly
classy umbrella. But a slight gust of wind, and before you know it, i am fighting as if attacked by a swarm of bees.

I disposed of my fourth one in a year last December angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

To make matters worse. what do you know. I was reading the Standard, and there was this
old chap, so full of himself, showing off an unbrella he has had for close to four decades

Oh my word. . . .
I saw this the other day and I was short of/with/without words. What utter crap. I must have fallen asleep at least 15 times during the movie. Even my best friend (who generally anything goes for) admitted it was a wasted 2 hours of her life.
Most painful part was that [I told bloke] I was going to see the movie and he warned me not to. Afterwards, his laughter in my ears was painful. undecided
Well I guess next time, you will pay more attention to said bloke's advice tongue tongue tongue

Happy new year to you too o.

all protocols observed, hehehehe, let us turn to important matters.

Did you hear how Thomas Jones called out Brett? shocked shocked shocked

Orisirisi. The boy no know e seniors sha. I mean he is an alright back
but that is just about it. He is alright, and Brett Favre is well, Brett Favre.

Tomlinson and Gates did not practice. Hmmm. . . . Chargers have one and
done written all over them.

Peyton is MVP again. I don't mind actually. There was a time I used to dislike
this dude. Gradually though I don warm to the guy. Before, he used to be like
Quarterback Invincible, no flaws, no wear and tear. But the early season and
the way they fought through all the adversity has earned my respect.
