Major Jonathan Uchendu with a small troop of Biafran soldiers ambushed the whole second division of the Nigerian military backed by soviet union and british military and wiped out the entire division, leaving only the GOC of the division badly wounded and traumatized with a handful of soldiers to go back and tell the story in Lagos.

The only other military that achieved something similar is Alexander the great in the battle against Persian army and king David of Israel in the battle against Goliath and the philistines present day Palestinians.
