The pandemic really messed with people's plans. I had hoped to move beginning of Summer...
I will be traveling 9th of September to Toronto, final destination is Waterloo.
About the isolation plan, will I be allowed to stay with a friend, and if yes, what are the conditions?
Your answers will be highly appreciated |

IlesanmiG: Hello Seniors/house,
I finally wrote IELTS for the 2nd time and had L: 8 R: 8 W: 8.5 S: 7.5. I have only my first degree, 4-year experience in reputable multinational companies, currently 28, and unmarried.
When I computed, my CRS came to 438..
What do you suggest I do from here.
I appreciate all responses. You could pursue a professional masters, their duration is less than a year. With your Bsc, the highest point you can attain is 441 |

Korch: Good Morning, please I have two questions bothering me.
1, can I use 25% of my pension fund and that of my wife as proof of fund?
2, Can my wife’s elder brother give a gift deed? If yes, can someone help with a sample letter and the requirement.
Thank you Sure, get a letter from your PFA showing you have access to it. Also, a 6month balance https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/proof-of-funds-format-of-gift-deed-affidavit-and-loe.487054/The link up there has a format. You need two witnesses and a lawyer to draw it out. The gift deed should also show bank transaction Also a letter of explanation saying where the money is from and that you have added supported docs Let the affidavit affirm that the funds held in your spouse’s account can be used by the principal applicant, which I assume is you, for the purpose of meeting the PoF requirements. |

However, my concern is that the donor in my own case (my hubby) is also going with me.
Please people/cases of people who got the gift deed from their accompanying spouses should also come in.
I need all the last minutes tips from people who did same thing. Wish I had seen this earlier... I have a friend who was in the same situation, he also did not notarize. He got his COPR last year |

There is comfort in familiarity, but it takes real courage to step outside ones comfort zone. Moving your whole life to another country so you can start a completely new one requires a good deal of resilience and bravery

Hello, from what you have revealed about yourself, you are very much eligible to apply as a Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry). It is the fastest way for you to get a Canadian PR and eventually become a Citizen, I would know cuz i recently got mine.
In regard to your question, I will advise you take the risk and move. Sure, settling down in Canada might be difficult, but its definitely not impossible. You have a family over there, to help ease the burden.
PS. If you do decide to move, make you do a proper research on how to settle in Canada. You'll find tons of information, |
Health › Re: Covid-19 Patients Being Treated In Lagos Hospital Beg Nigerians To Stay At Home by drail400(m): 3:54pm On Apr 02, 2020 |
Seun: Lockdown is especially unsustainable in a poor country. Poor people cannot stay at home for long. All over the world, celebrities are sitting at home and encouraging us to do the same because they don't have to work. Poor people have to work. Our government can’t feed them all.
The virus will be with us for months. The vaccine won't be available until next year. Massive testing and isolation, enforcement of face-masks and hygiene, etc can be sustained for years in a strong economy. Lockdowns can't. People are already protesting in Lagos after just two days!
It is not cheap. The wealth of a nation is the productivity of its people. A nation whose people are not working grows poorer every day. The true cost of the lockdown is the value of the goods and services that people would have produced if they were not forced to stay at home. The cost of massive testing and putting a mask on every face is high, but compared to the loss of productivity due to the lockdown, it's nothing at all. well said. Good to see you lending your voice and being patient to explain yourself. |

jancollins: Hi Guys.. Good Morning and Happy Independence Day.
Pls I need help on best place to do medicals at the moment. I'm aware people always say IOM is better compared to QLife, although it's about 5k more expensive than Qlife. Pls I wont mind any recent experience with Qlife nd IOM. I want to book for medicals
Tnks in Anticipation. My first appointment was with Q-life. However, I was 5mins late, so they didnt attend to me. I was given a new appointment, but the date was too far. So, I booked one with IOM, they gave me a closer date. My appointment was 9.30. This time i got there 30mins earlier, I didnt want a repeat of what happened in Qlife. I didnt finish till 4.20 therebout The difference is about 10000 not 5000 IOM serves more customers than qlife, so there service might be slower. However, IOM is more flexible, and they also sent my medical report upon request If you re able to get an early appointment, i'd suggest you go with qlife |

So I’m a lawyer, with 4 years work experience, at the time of applying it was just over 3 years, My first work experience, I was paid cash cos it was my NYSC ppa, but I stayed there for some months after NYSC.. I did a LOE stating that I was paid by cash. Meanwhile, I used Wes for my evaluation but I evaluated my Llb & Law school degree & I chose masters when filling my application.
So in March I ordered GCMS notes & I realized Eligibility was met since December & the due date to finalize my application was February 19th. I ordered another one in May, nothing changed.. Everything looked exactly the same.. I just gave up and continued my life.
I found this forum like 3 months post Aor, but I’m grateful for it cos it helped me during my waiting period and calmed my anxieties. Thank you everyone, I pray everyone gets a speedy processing.
I’m grateful to God, My Incredible God, my God that has never ever failed me. Wow, the process does take a while. I can imagine the anxiety you felt. I submitted my profile today, gotten my AOR. My wait begins today congratulations |

Alosezele: Hello House pls I need some direction and advice Concerning my job reference letter, I notice that the responsibilities listed under my NOC does not cover all the responsibilities I currently perform. My questions are; 1. Do I list more or less responsibilities than what is on the NOC list if am privileged to state what I want to appear on the reference? 2. Will I need to show statement of account as evidence of salary payments if my reference is on the letter headed paper, if my organization has a website and I have some current pay slip to upload? 3. Can I use a reference letter that is dated more than 4 months to apply for PR? Or I shld demand for new reference letter? 2) Pay Slip is good enough, ordinarily all you need is reference letter 3) It doesnt matter, go ahead 1) as long as your duties include some of those listed under the NOC, there shouldnt be any issue |
