In 1973. Gen. Yakubu Gowon (pictured) was the then Nigerian Military President. He is seen shaking hands with baby Justin Trudeau – the son of the then Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Elliot Trudeau. Now, in 2015, Justin Trudeau is the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, and he is the new Prime Minister. That is progressive! That is Change!!
But in Nigeria, we are still having recycled leaders attempting to rule and dictate to us. When will they let young, vibrant and intelligent men…the youth of today…contest in a free and fair election?
More news @ http://fusiongists..com.ng/2015/10/when-young-shall-not-grow-in-nigeria.html Wish this post could make it to the front pages of the Nigerian media. Very shameful indeed. |

herald9: When I read about some drugs having side effects, I always dismiss such info until I swallowed half a card of 'CIPROTAB' in order to fight off a deadly blow from malaria allied with typhoid fever. What my body is undergoing now can only be imagined...
Dews are settling every now and then on my forehead. It seems a new salty spring have suddenly burst out of my throat cause this volume of spittle rushing into my mouth per second is baffling, bewildering, bemusing and mystifying. The worst thing is I can't coup them back cause the salinity seem higher than what my system really needs. So now you can picture a pregnant woman's favourite sport and picture me!
I bade farewell to sleep three days ago. Well, at least I can read for my ongoing exams instead of lazily dozing... for where? It looks like those feudal worms in my stomach have been constantly at war ever since I took those drugs; I can feel some some hot canon balls being projected from the left 'wing' of my intestines to the right.
Even me wey been dey score multiple hat-tricks when having a serious match with BEANS have now become a spectator!
Erm... What's that going on in my head? Is someone rearranging my brains?!! (grabs head)
Whenever I get out of this dilemma; I and my family shall never consume any drug with letter "C"....
Not even Vitamin C!
Signed: Herald9
Other side effects are: Dizziness Restlessness Weakness of joints Dehydration Sweating, etc.
Drugs should be made to cure ills, not after curing the ills you start battling with the drug. It's not fair!
Have you ever had any side effects when taking drugs? How did you overcome it? Please share.
Lalasticlala can you endorse this, please? Wow, OP: So sorry to learn about your experience. I didn't read anything related to medicine. But common sense requires that you visit your Doctor when such things happen. I got a question though: Is this the first time you had " Malaria and Typhoid"? And why are there rampant diagnoses of these two together these days? OP, this may not be your first Malaria, if you know what drugs have worked for you in the past, i advice you stick to them, until they work no more. Wish you well and sorry for your experience! |

Now that's a real star........ and very down to earth. So Kool bro. Those days in UI, if u find anybody with such Rock CDs, U2, Cranberries, Oasis, Creed, Blink 182, Puddle of Mud, Staind, Bon Jovi etc; U are da bomb. Original CDs were very expensive that time. I really loved and still love Bono, especially the album: All that you cant leave Behind and others like you mentioned. I could not believe Bono will be here and probably be with persons who never treasured and relished their songs. These Rock bands were so kool back in the days. people thought we were mad people back in School days; the bonding among listeners of Rock could be compared to that among weed smokers. Lol |

These guys have persisted not because of who have superior fire power. I have witnessed a serious fight between Nigerian Navy and the Oro (Oron Nation) for maritime academy. Nor be gadgets oh. Navy go shoot, bullets nor go come out, infact them use cutlass cut Naval officers hands and seize their guns. And the shocking revelation is that; when they kill you, they cook you and chop. This ain't a joke oh. In Akwaibom, find out what they call: " Epke-demisom! I ain't sure of the spelling though. |

angieberry: She's actually right, it's her husband's house so she can do and undo, so you have no choice than to adhere to her rules. She obviously doesn't feel Comfortable with your presence in her house that's why she's acting up, and it will look very wrong if you keep complaining about her or reporting her. If you can't tolerate her behavior, you should probably leave that house. To live peacefully with her, you should get ready to swallow a lot of shit and I don't know if you're ready to do that. I advice that you dont get yourself involved in such short sightedness. You and your husband (God forbids though) can loose the so called house and everything in a jiffy. Imagine that! |

Never go to any home you are related to the man to stay, you will have problems. People that are related to the wive's usually have a smooth sail.
You got it so right. I lived with two blood brothers not uncles in lagos and abuja. Their wives were so so wicked. They would not cook on time, wouldn't even give you when they did. If they did, na old soup them go give you.
Was a hellish experience, but thank God for admission to the university. Another annoying thing, your confused brothers will never believe you.
