yes make sure your vaccination status shows as “fully vaccinated” when you scan the barcode

Legal I meant isn’t suing them. Since it’s work visa. I would suggest you write them and make enquire about the earlier decision. if the earlier decision came out successful. Maybe it’s possible you get another passport and send to them. If that is possible. It not as easy as that tho but never say never. You can’t continue to wait when the passport is actually misplaced.

funny thing is the lousy answer the customer care at UKVI told me, that “it’s either in the UK or Nigeria because sometimes decisions are made in Nigeria or the UK, and it’s also possible they’re looking for your passport so please exercise patience”

my brother, I have gone to TLS, UK embassy, sent paid mails, made paid calls, they’re just mistreating me seriously

August 16th - November 12, I haven’t gotten my passport back, can’t even explain how much damage this has done to my business, despite telling me a decision has been made. It is really unfair and inhumane at this point.

I am actually going to visit the UK embassy this Monday cos I am really tired, since 16th august you held my passport and you can’t even tell me what the decision is, what’s all this secrecy for, on top passport wey I dey use hustle.

Please read my write up and kindly advise me on the next step to take. This is my story:

Submitted visa application: August 1.
Biometrics: August 23- Standard.
After 30 working days, when I didn’t hear any news, I sent a paid message and I got a reply that a decision had been made.
After 35 working days, sent another paid message, I was told that they’ve escalated my case and that I should wait for 15 working day’s from the date of my escalation to get a response.
Then 3 weeks ago, I got a BRP mail. Since then, nothing.
When it was 50 working days, I sent another mail, they said they have now re- escalated the issue and to wait for a response. 2 days later, I got a decision mail that visa has been approved. What baffles me is that the decision letter was dated August.
Since last week that the decision was letter sent to my mail, I’ve been tracking and still at DMC. Please how else can I escalate this matter? I paid for courier and passport has not been delivered yet.
Anyone that has been in my shoe before to kindly advise me as I don’t know what else to do. Thank you.

Pls I need urgent help. I misspelled the email address for a dependent application that I have paid IHS and Visa fee. I am currently unable to access the account and progress the application to TLS.

I tried to get in to the account through UKVI website by providing the passport number and DOB but the response am getting is that the data am submitting are incorrect (the same correct data loaded for the application).

All efforts to reach UKVI through their phone lines is not working. Pls what else can I do to progress this application today?

It starts from the start date on that visa, if you don't use it within the duration it will expire

how do they calculate the date then? Is it when you land in the UK or at the time thr decision was made?

Your CoS for your TW tier 5 should be able to guide you to start and end date. The guidance says your visa should run out on your end date or 14 days from that time, whichever is earlier

I need to ask a question, when you are given a visa for a specific duration, when does it start counting? The moment you land in the UK or at the time of decision being made? Cc justwise

Honestly, they need to be held in negligence sometimes. Worst is they will not even communicate with you. My daughter's application still at DMC since 22nd of September. I have mailed, called, they keep saying decision has since been made, I should just hold on. We cannot travel and leave her here. I have involved my school and given consent to contact Home office directly from there.

I can see there are cases against them in court and there will soon be rulings holding them liable in damages for all these acts of negligence. . .
