You are really right JOFTECH. I wonder why Nigeria no matter how good they try to be are still regarded as the most corrupt country whereas, US and other civilized countries are taken as saints. Do I have to start mentioning their crimes or are those crimes neglected because they are world rulers. Uptil now, I have been all ears eager to hear about the hidden chemical weapons in Iraq. Are they still on search ? Let us not condemn ourselves as there might be surprises during judgment day; you'll see that Nigeria might score lowest in most-corrupt countries in the world, before God. |
I am still thinking....... |
@ texazzpete We are not saying the man isn't rogue or thief, we are rather concerned by the effect it will have on our country's reputation. In this case, though we know we possess all these evil attributes, we pretend to be free from them atleast to clear our tracks from the international community. I believe with the EFCC here, we can resolve the issue internally, bringing him to proper justice. Like what Klex said: Do you think George Bush can instruct that an American Governor be arrested on foreign soil? You see they (US) will exhibit some level of maturity unlike Obasanjo playing sycophancy maybe to gain his selfish interest why his home (country) suffers in moral insolence, world-wide. This will be the highest level of humiliation to Nigeria. Inorder to reduce the dent this has subjected to Nigeria, I advice we exercise the law (diplomatic immunity) unless we feel our law is too inferior to be applied in country like England (shame!!!), then we go ahead sheepishly, loosing our pride before the world. Nawa oooooooo, one man's crime will bring bad name to my treasured country |
The problem there is that I foresee people who will hang themselves because of this 1000 whatever. Imagine someone who misplaced 3 of it or had the three leaves dropped from his wallet or pocket, do know the meaning? 15 pieces of N200 naira notes, 30 pieces of N100 naira notes! Is a fortune! Anyways, thieves and robbers are really going to be placed on cash. |
Is like u guys know I'm lacking serious words (L O L) |
Change your character towards the person. Try and sound more like brother or sister. E.g. she comes (if the person is a female), you call her sister disguisingly, asking about daddy and mummy, telling her u'll visit them one day. If she tries to sound personal, you'll treat her with reluctance. Insist on this altitude till she finds you boring to her liking. She might even take u for a mugu ( l o l) |
@ G.P. & Okotx, tell him more. If he truely has God's vision, why is he moved by the worldly pleasures? I see people who spend such amount for Hummer Jeep as senseless people not to talk of a man of God who should have used such money to help the poor and motherless. |
I have heard of the guy. They said the guy is very generous and has built schools for less privileged free of charge. |
I don't mind how dull it looks, just let me have thousands of it ![]() |
The best way to that is staying out of sight by travelling out, otherwise, you might run into thesame lane with the person. I wonder how you will feel then!!! |
Yeah. but............. is becoming boring |
You guyz have said it all. I don't see any sense in pregnancy before marriage no matter whatever reasons behind it. Such experiments end up in producing bastards. Lets just keep off that idea when ever it is suggested by anyone. |
Consider things happening in nigeria. Who wouldn't want to call it GHETTO ![]() |
Bibi, we are talking of realities. There is no politics in discussions pertaining to this. You either get a prove backing yours or dance to the tune of the winning party. You can not tell me Oba.. is guiltless, that is why I would want you to keep away from such discussions since you are not in this country alternatively, you ask questions pertaining to it and be clearified. Your kind of arguments are always tribalistic. |
Do not bring in merit in Nigerian politics. How many Nigerian presidents since the past have been ruling by merit or how many of them entered the four corners of classroom? Since, we are not ruled by our merit, I will surgest we rotate it. I definitely know that only Northerners and westeners will counter this rotational presidency because they know they are the people that are going to be there if by the so called merit. Is it lie? |
You guyz and babes are really great in advice. I couldn't imagine it being a problem unless this gal is fake or has commited something that warranted the treatment. In this case, I will advice, you get to the root of the whole matter, making sure the woman is at fault. Be very careful Sade ![]() |
Ewoooo, Omotala na real pretty. Upper hand to you Omi...., na you we dey hail. |
em.. ![]() |
Travel out of that area for awhile. You'll see, life this side now will be so new (different) that'll you'll have more to explore than thinking about the person. |
Try to know when one is trying to learn you. Those words might just be to learn you, know your temperament. |
Sir G. P. Dating differs with the gender of the person. For guys, I'll agree with you, but for female, they should date in time so as not to fall into problems; "you will understand". I know of girl who refused dating any man atleast on a courtship purpose till she was finally in her law school. This girl could not get one when she graduated from her Law school. Men seeing this beautiful brillant girl felt she was engaged and those that could find out that she wasn't thought of the girl's family background or her individual life that scared guys from nearing her. This girl now is in advertisement, doesn't mind marrying a truck-pusher or person from any tribe, just to get married. Babes, be wise. |
@ CimonJorr. Dokubo is innocent. What he is doing is far from crime. He is a leader of a community just like we have a councellor in a community. He has a right to protest on behalf of his community's welfare. The problem is the Fed. Govt. want to use those people's oil without compensating them despite harm the oil is causing on the their soil fertility. They have to protest. |
So, you even know? Take time ![]() |
Let's be very careful because this might result to another september 11 attack maybe in Aso Rock. Terrorists are not only born in Iraq and Afghanistan nor do they live only in the two countries. Dakubo's case can generate such action. Let Fed. Govt. release the innocent man on a just mission, otherwise, they should be ready to spend billions of naira to get themselves equiped with misiles to fight terrorism in Nigeria; though I know the poor innocent people will feel the heat. Be wise ![]() |
Seun, remember what he said in his letter to the President. He didn't (doesn't) want to expose his (Oba..'s) secret evil affairs nor was he intended blackmailing him, rather, he was seeking for a redress to the plight of the citizens of this country. I still believe that if he (Orji) had not overhauled himself properly, knowing that it is going to involve reprisal from both parties, he wouldn't have gone into that. Forget about Orji not being able to bring out a proof. Personally, I will be a coward to fight for a position through blackmailing or public help. If Orji had done that, I would have seen him as a coward and a defeat who had already foreseen danger ahead, and resorted to blackmail. He made it clear in his letter that he campaigned for him (Oba...) with millions of naira. Do you people think such confident open letter to Mr. President can not be proved? Don't say like that. |
Happy birthday. |
Whether Orji is bad or not, I want to let you know that OBA.... worth the allegations levelled on him. I still can not believe people are seeing OBA.. as an innocent fellow; no wonder my prayers have been that God deliver our people from sycophancy. |
? Let us not condemn ourselves as there might be surprises during judgment day; you'll see that Nigeria might score lowest in most-corrupt countries in the world, before God.
