jayon: You should not feel you need monitor what you say because you are afraid of how the other person will view it. If you’re afraid to express your feelings and opinions openly, there’s a problem with the relationship. I agree with alot of what was written especially this. I realized this a while ago myself. |
Islam › Re: Why Do Muslim Guys Prefer To Date Christians Girls? by Dreloaded(f): 7:28am On Nov 22, 2007 |
olabowale: @Nwando: After two grown kids, I can not claim that am a virgin. Further, I do not participate in illicit sex. I will not ask if a would be wife is a virgin. My prerequisite is simple that she is a BELIEVER. I will even go for a Christian, and or Jew, knowing fully well that God may use my relationship with her to soften her heart. I am not talking about you. We already know that you are hooked. But a man who is asking question about the virginity of a woman, may receive an unpleasant answer.
What does the Bible say about Virginity? What is the ruling on hymen or virginity, in Christianity, Doctor? Talk to me. Now you are just changing the subject. What does this have to do with your "Christian girls are loose compared to Muslim females" claim? We are asking you to tell us why they are now BIG on hymen reconstruction if that were true and you arent even addressing that, just talking about something that has nothing to do with the question or links posted. |

Sane people are applauding the OP because he's actually treating the girl better than the OP's friend. That's all it is and there's nothing wrong with that. |

skyope: i think the last person i'll believe is a girl who just broke a long time friendship. even if it was competitive. the girl's desparate. You obviously have issues with females. Was she supposed to stay in a "rlationship" where the guy pretty much decribed her as being a prostitute? even the Op said that the friend was picking up girls at nightclubs while his then gf was sitting at home. If the Op's words are true, the girl's lucky to have found a better person |

Sweet T: When i get married, i will encourage my wife to keep looking good like the first day we met. I will not enforce it on her but lead by example i.e working out, looking nice, nice outfits etc. And if she ask me why i look so good, i will tell her "it's all for you Baby". I'm sure she will get the picture and reciprocate my gesture. I will also let her know how much i care for her and want her to be happy at all cost. I will flirt with her a lot like we are some high schoolers, whatever it's out there she can get it at home and even better. So help me God !!! Nice. Let's hope you keep your word |

Did you read this? I really appreciate your comment, but there is something i have grown to discover as a man, if you want to go and start digging all the rubble in peoples past lives, you probably may not live beyond tomorrow, most importantly too is the fact that other people have married under worse situations, what matters most is how we see ourselves at present, what if i tell you i have slept with over 400 women, it doesnt change who i am now, does it? if my baby has slept with just myself and i don't love her of what use is she in my house, if she has slept with all the men and i appreciate her when i see her, man we will have God's blessings. i guess what matters most is now and tomorrow, yesterday is gone and gone with its evils. Sure he could be full of crap, but he could also be truthful in this regards and if he is, then he deserves to be happy with her. |

zigam: Some other guys may openly say they have slept with some girls, but I said I don’t do it and my friends have not said such a thing in any of our discussion(s). It sounds so childish and very shameful. Any guy that can say such a thing cannot be in our company. I cannot remember the last time I heard such a thing. I tell you, we don’t bring such a thing into our discussion(s). Though, we are not Saints but whatever thing that happens in the bedroom between you and your girl should not be mentioned outside. What do you hope to achieve by saying such a thing? You only make yourself foolish before your friends. What’s new there? Is it an achievement? So,why bringing such obscene matter? The type of friends I have are such that will deny even if they are caught doing the act Like i said, if that's how you and your friends are, I applaud it but many guys don't think that way. It's about ego booawsting. There might be a girl that doesnt allow anyone to come near her and one guy would just say "oh yea well i've done her before", an obvious lie but how would the other guys know? They'll just praise him for being able to get the "unattainable" girl. Happens frequently albeit such males are obviously immature. |

flowers are a poor man's excuse not to spend money. Lmao seriously. Some flowers are nice (roses are overrated) but since most REAL flowers are expensive, why waste money on what will die in a few days as opposed to something everlasting and if you want to go the flower route, get something else with it. |

Btw zigam, maybe you're in denial but guys do the whole "yes i've slept with her" even though they've never even been near the girl thing all the time. If your friends havent done such, good(even though yyou probably wouldnt know) but that doesnt mean that it doesnt happen |

You are quite wise. Great mentality you have there. Just make sure you sever ties with this so called friend. Why would your friend be mad that you stole a "prostitiute" form him if she really is one? Simple cos he's full of crap. Do away with the friend as he'll try to cause harm in the relationship out of bitterness. |

pmdaboh: @D-reloaded
Can you tell your heart and emotions, "Do not love this person or that person for they are divorced?" Or is that the first thing you ask when you meet someone that interests you--" Have you been married before?" "Do you have any children? " That is a great conversation starter . As if the person is not intelligent enough to know that you are placing them in the "Ok to date category" or "forget it category". You may just fall in love with a person that is divorced and has a child. Perhaps they were wonderful in the marriage and just married a person who was horrible.
Tell me how that works out. Yes, such questions are important to me. I've learned that it's best to think with your head first before the heart. Only foolish women do otherwise. Instead of thinking of the future they rather think of "omg im so in love", give me a break. Why put yourself in a ridiculous situation where you are placed 2nd to a guy's first child all in the name of "love". I'll pass. Btw a decent man would tell you if he has a child or not from the beginning thus giving the woman the the choice to see whether or not she can deal with such a situation. Only a deceptive bastard would try to hide such information and why would anyone want to be with someone who's deceptive? |

belloti: Salam, i accidently stumbled on this topic today. I guess coming from the conservative muslim background i can say without mincing words that the overwheming factor for such relationship is the relative ease and loose nature of MOST xtian girls especially when compared to our muslim sisters. Not gonna deny that they are hypocritical Christian "sisters" but you are just flapping your gums. Care to explain why hymen reconstruction is so BIG in the middle East since the women are supposedly not loose? |

pmdaboh: [color=#000099][b Some comments were made about that is why it is best not to get in a relationship when there is an ex and a step child. Well in America, where a 23 year old can be on his/her second marriage already, it is hard to avoid that. Not that hard if you avoid divorcees all together or at least the ones with children |

belloti: [b]The very fact that it became a news item should atleast give some insight into the peculiarity of the adjudication. We don't see that kind of prosecution around and surely its a legal exception. Not sure who you think you are fooling by making it seem like such events dont happen. This is not the first time nor will it be the last that you hear that in such countries, the rape victim is also punished. I've been hearing about such for years, supposedly rape is still viewed as "having sex" which is completely idiotic. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: A Girl Is Punished For Being Raped In Saudi Arabia by Dreloaded(f): 3:06pm On Nov 21, 2007 |
chidichris: the girl in question has been a muslim all her life and as such shld know the dos and donts so going to unrelated males and talking to press shld not come in. she shld be able to life for the religion and doctrines she love and believe in. why are the others not complaining now? they will only complain when it is their turns. if she was not a muslim, she will not receive the same treatment so it is normal to give such verdict owing to the fact that she has been living on such laws. So because she's been a muslim all her life, she's supposed to have inner powers telling her that she's gonna be raped? What the hell are you babbling? Do they really think a hijab is gonna stop a female from being molested and who even cares if she went out without a male escort, are they saying that their land is so barbaric that a woman cant walk the streets without bodyguards and should EXPECT rape? That's kinda ridiculous dont you think? |

Unlike most Nairalanders, Im not big on bashing Islam but if there's one thing about that religion that NO Muslim should even bother defending, it's laws like this |
