*undergraduate students should check the admission requirement for their course and be sure they can meet up with the requirement. Waec and neco only cannot get you a regular admission into Edinburgh without foundation year studies (MasterCard does not sponsor foundation year) so get ready for ACTs or SATs.

My Bro, solastar2, I sincerely appreciate ur response. I am 2.1 person but grace supercedes grades. Love letter letters are normal but not for too long, we will all get our desired awards. It took me tym bfr I could get FSB scholarship. My hope is in God absolutely. I can never gv up if love letters like, make e full my mail.

Now, I get where your strength lies, you already got 1st M.Sc (If that's the case, ERASMUS is sure for you definitely). Above all, one need to be optimistic, and pray it will.

Congrats!and goodluck to us the postgraduates. Study your materials well,I mean your essays.Most of your questions might come from there.Secondly browse and read about the history of the University of Edinburgh. Knowing things about the school, can make you flow,and prevent you from stuttering. Thirdly ask yourself why you think you deserve this scholarship. Answering this question well,will determine if other candidates will be dropped just for you.

Fourth,if you are given the option for Skype or phone,please choose Skype. Skype interview, looks like a face to face interview. You can easily deduce the outcome from the interviewer response, as well as facial expression. Some people might say phone interview will show how poor you are because of the expenses accrued from Skype. But in my opinion, this is a red flag!.

Fifthly, dress neatly.Dress not to impress but to express.Also be bold during the interview, and remember to blow your trumpet.Blowing your trumpet don't mean you should be self centered, but rather you should be scholarship centered. Don't be timid in your response,and ensure you test run your PC before the day.

Lastly if you are a Christian, and you believe in God, then pray. I believe in the power of prayers.There is a difference between believing in your mind and believing in your heart.You need to believe in your heart and wish yourself a fruitful outcome.The mind is a place of fiction,but the heart is a place of reality. Then if it's God's will everything will fall into place.

This is my humble piece of advise, and I also wish myself luck.

The op here has pointed out main point, go by this and believe everything will work fine.
With respect to Interview option, I'll advise her to have the best network for Skype interview. In the event that your network is weak, please kindly choose "Phone call", you can't afford to jeopardize with this thing.

Hello house,has anyone received an update from MSF? I Just received an update on my application. I was told that they are pleased to give me an update.They said they are now in the final phase of reviewing over 3000 applications, and have started to communicate their decisions to some applicants,and this will continue till the end of March. I was told that if I am successful, I would be told to schedule an interview date, and I will be given a preparation time of two weeks.

May God help us!

I received the same email from MCF Edinburgh too, like an hour ago. Let's hope to be successful in the selection process. Best wishes.

Today, 5:30pm...I just sat infront of my system, trying to compose my motivation letter and essays for Commonwealth shared scholarship.

My colleague Kay, whom we graduated the same year from same department messaged me on WhatsApp.

Kay: Guy....Check your mail

Me: I refreshed, I didn't see anything. My heart started skipping. Kay....wetin be that naa

Kay: Check am again. Na FAME+ Erasmus.

Me: My heart skipped again....Oh fccckk, Airtel network was just doing anyhow. I told him I didn't get any mail. At this point, he was scared. He said in his mind, my guy and I have got to study together in this program ( This he told me later sha)

Then I saw the mail, FAMe+ Admission. I opened it, with my heart in my mouth. I was just looking for the key word " Erasmus Mundus Scholarship". My sharp eye just detected it...Korokoro.....I was awarded the E+ Scholarship to study in the Functionalised Advanced Materials Engineering+ in at least two countries in Europe.

I went down on my knees... Screamed, shouted hallelujah countless time. I almost stripped my self unclad, but my younger sister was at home with me....

Glory be to God....Goodnews on a Tuesday evening. To state that AMASE preselected me to compete for the Erasmus scholarship pending the receipt of my official transcript from Nigeria ( NASU pipu ), and my third option, EM3E-4SW just sent me a mail to prepare for an interview next week. It's all God's doing....2 Nigerians in (Kay and I). I'll have to tag him in this thread..

To y'all still waiting for success mail, may God bring it to fulfilment...

one thing you should know is that this is a scholarship and it is highly competitive, you win some and you lose some but consequently you also learn and improve. Other erasmus mundus courses might workout, just spread your tentacles and apply to as many scholarships as you can.

Chill bro, I understand how you feel, but you have to keep fighting bro.. You're not a looser, and they're only Lucky. The result doesn't really reflect who you're or your application. All of you submitted best application.

I wish you well in the remaining 2 slots you have (If you submitted three ERASMUS applications). Apply to other scholarships too, to increase your chances.

I sent an Inquiry to the mastercard foundation, asking them when applicants will receive word on the status of their applications,concerning the interview shortlist .Regardless of asking generally,I still wrote my application ID.And this is the reply I got almost immediately.

You will hear from us regarding the outcome of your application, sometime in March-April 2018.

That's serious... I suspect the ongoing UK Universities strike maybe the reason for the delay. But I'm sure something will come up VERY Soon. Maybe this week. I observe they give time for interview preparation, and decision should be April latest. Successful applicants still have to apply for admission, IELTS, VISA application, etc, so they're running out of time.

Come to think of it...erasmus is not a popular scholarship in Nigeria. I'm sure it ranks below PTFD and all the others. just wondering when naija guys will come to know it fully.....they will have to create Erasmus Africa....cos the influx of applications ehnnnn....

There's ERASMUS Africa... The application ended in January or so.

I also had concerns about the residency certificate. The LASRRA slip I had was dated 2015. So I couldn't use it. I mailed two programmes that requested it about the state of my residency documents and offered to submit my confirmation of employment as well as an attestation from my HRM that I'm a resident of Nigeria working in their organization. Since those documents bore my address and was dated within the limits set, I sent the three documents and they both accepted them. If you have this option, you can try it.

Thank you very much, the Local Government certificate option can't work (According to the email gotten from them). I think I'll go for what you did, collect a letter from my work place.

I'm thinking this document shouldn't affect one chances of getting scholarship self. It's tiring with the residency certificate, and I stay far from Lagos

I also use all my passport page for WACOMA, including all VISA page... As requested, but in this, not same case

Attaching Passport is one of the requirements already, and they asked for Residency certificate again.

Just to add, two consortiums accepted my state of origin certificate. one bounced it. so i had to get a letter from the local government (with their letter head) stating my address, then another letter from my employer stating my address- and the accepted it.

I have a letter from my Local Government, but was issued in 2011... You have idea if it's valid?
