all right bro.I just got a mail from coordinator DAT my dept received only 5mastercard applicants and six I'll be nominated from overall depts. am just trying to see if there is alternative funding package we can fall on should in case we got admission only.

Thats great bro, my department @McGill Electrical and Computer Engineering have given me a go ahead order to apply, they are currently processing my app fee waiver. They informed me that I will be nominated for the MasterCard scholarship if successfully got admitted into the dept.

How do you choose from a pool of applications who to nominate with just their transcripts and curriculum vitae?

I did not think the nomination would take this long or undergo such scrutiny, I would've beefed up my CV some more. I was only gunning for the actual application for scholarship and essays.

Any which way, let's see how it goes!

So, I followed this procedure and was told that my application for nomination has been forwarded to the appropriate department and that I'll be contacted shortly when they reach a decision concerning the application.

I'm yet to receive a response and they seem to have a December 1st deadline.

Am I missing something here?

So drhammed my first point of contact for McGill is my department (chemical engineering in this case), then i wait for their response, I guess my request mail to be nominated should be sent to the graduate coordinator, any other questions I have would be directed to you. And please do you have the courses that UBC sponsors or let me simplify is chem eng sponsored, and all this questions are referring to the masters program thanks for your prompt reply.

About when the form will be out this year.. over the years the form has mostly been released in December .. but sometimes late November.. So just keep checking various Scholarship info Plattfom online.. But I know daboywizzy is a dedicated guy.. and he offers the scholarship news and all.. so I guess he'll tell us when it out... But overall keep checking any available platform..

A scholar will visit her home country twice first during d summer of her first year and then the summer of her third year. That is what I meant

MCF return home policy is a maximum of 2 years to ensure that scholars get to connect with their friends and family in their home countries
