A staggering revelation has been made on the latest request from the about to be re-appointed national team boss, Stephen Keshi as whispers from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Glass House suggests that he wants Daniel Amokachi sacked as assistant manager of the Super Eagles, .com can exclusively report.

The former Everton forward was in charge of the Eagles in Keshi’s absence when the team prosecuted two friendly games – first, a disgracefully defeat against Uganda in front of home fans at the Akwa Ibom International stadium which was followed by a lackluster 1-1 draw in South Africa against the Bafana Bafana.

Amokachi told an unnamed NFF official after the Cranes friendly that it was the big boss that selected the team and he was just a figurehead – that news got to the ears of Stephen Keshi and got him furious.

Now, he wants Amokachi out and the former Mali coach is pushing the NFF chiefs to re-engage the services of his former assistant, Togolese Valerie Hounandinuou who was fired by the NFF in April 2013.

Keshi who recently agreed a new deal with the Nigerian football body to continue as manager will sign the contract papers next week, it was reliably gathered.

Ribadu thought since Nyako can be impeached and the house is dominated by PDP that would make an easy ride to the governor seat for him but he has forgotten that their is grass root campaign which is now working against him now.

seunfly:
For healthy competitive democracy sake, I worked for APC @federal level and PDP @ Lagos state level but with his recent action I wish I had not supported him at all.

How can you incite an outsiders against your own people and your own king was molested, emberrased and disgraced yet you are still proud. Well I don't blame him, I blame the other tribe who allowed them self to be used as pawn and I commend few sensible and understanding ones among them.(Afonja of Ilorin comes to mind)

I pray his political career ends here and people of Lagos punish him for life.

I am not God but i believe his political career has just end, not only him i guess may be his children included because no matter the post he may be vieing for he will always be remember for wanting to use his personal gains to divide his people.

The Peoples Democratic Party candidate chieftain in Southwest, Chief Bode George, lost in his polling unit during Saturday’s governorship poll in Lagos.

His party polled 87 votes, while the All Progressive Congress scored 137.

Mr. Jimi Agbaje is PDP’s governorship candidate in the state, while Akinwunmi Ambode is flying the APC flag in the poll.

A Chinese man had a little explaining to do after
a car accident left him in hospital – and his 17
girlfriends rushed to his bedside.
According to the South China Morning Post
report, the Chinese casanova is known only as
Mr Yuan from the city of Changsha, in Hunan
province and he had apparently been dating all
17 women at the same time, without their
knowledge – he even has a child with one.
However, his numerous affairs were exposed
after he was taken to hospital on March 24
following a car accident when he received non-
life-threatening injuries.
Doctors contacted his ‘relatives’ and were
surprised when 17 girlfriends turned up –
although presumably not as surprised as Mr
Yuan.
Changsha newspaper Xiaoxiang Chen Bao reports
that the women were also stunned to discover
the truth about their sweetheart.
One of the girlfriends, called Xiao Li, said: ‘I’ve
been with him for a year and a half. [After
hearing he’d been in an accident] I cried so hard
I didn’t have any tears left.
‘I was really worried when I heard that he was in
hospital. But when I started seeing more and
more beautiful girls show up, I couldn’t cry any
more.’
Xiao says she’s now set up a chat forum for all
of Yuan’s partners and she’s discovered that
some of the women had been supporting him
financially – one of them for nine years.
Wang Fang, the mother of Yuan’s child, said:
‘We’ve already had a son together. What can I do
now? I don’t love him any more, but I do love my
son.’
Another girlfriend, Xiao Ting, said she thought
Yuan had been her ‘Mr Right’ and she had
already been planning her wedding.
The hapless casanova’s story has now been
shared across social media sites in China, with
some expressing admiration for his multitasking
ability, while others are wondering how exactly
he kept 17 women in the dark.
As for loverboy, the online speculation is the
least of his problems – according to reports, the
police have now launched an investigation into
allegations of fraud.

Nigeria international striker, Odion Ighalo scored
a sublime goal on Monday to power Watford to a
2-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Vicarage Road.
The win was enough for the Hornets to remain in
the playoff places but it was the quality of
Ighalo’s strike that made the headlines long after
the final whistle.
Ighalo received a pass from teammate, Ben
Watson in the 65th minute and showed nimble
feet to create space just outside the penalty
area before unleashing a fearsome left-footed
strike that arrowed past the Middlesbrough
goalkeeper, Dimitrios Konstantopoulos and into
the top left hand corner of the net.
The audacious nature of the strike did not go
unnoticed by watchers of SkySports as 33% of
the viewers voted it best of all nine games
decided on the day.
Ighalo’s effort beat off competition from equally
impressive efforts from Alex Mowatt (25%),
Daniel Johnson (12%) and Olly Lee (30%).
The striker has been in barnstorming form in
front of goal this season, netting 19 times in
league matches thus far.
This is by far his best goals return since he
turned professional in 2007.
His second best goals return in a single season
was during the 2011/12 campaign when he
netted six times in Spain’s top flight for Granada.
Ighalo recently earned his first international cap
for Nigeria in the 0-1 defeat to Uganda at the
Akwa Ibom international Stadium.
