Am currently serving in Rivers, all corpers are posted to school with the exception of medical students and few agric students who are posted in accordance to their prosPective disciplines... U can runz your posting to rivers and then discuss with your ppa principal to permit you to be a ghost corper... We have plenty ghost corpers over here... Congrats on your new job

hmmmmmmm reading through comments uploaded before mine I can't help but wonder: everyone now feel cheating is cool. Men are polygamous in nature, condoms might be used for other reasons( like fetching water), quit snooping around,we are mortals, it must have been used by his friend, don't get him angry when confronting him etc. Why can't men and women strive to be faithful to their partners and quit justifying their evil acts? Being faithful is not impossible. it may be difficult but its attainable. And should you slip and cheat, please don't be smart about it. being defensive and cooking up reasons for cheating ain't cool. when you cheat on your partner, you destroy him or her. if you are caught and instead of being sorry, u feel on top of the world, you reduce your partner to nothing. cheating isn't cool in anyway. be with a partner who makes ur heart beat fast each time u set eyes on him or her. don't settle for less, or money, sex, good looks etc

I was opportuned to study in the west, I had yorubas as my closest friends and room mates, even in my service, I have them as room mates and they are actually the neatest people I have known... But I must say they are endowed with backside , they are brilliant and like lots of palm oil and pepper in their food. I love yorubas

PLEASE and PLEASE none of u shld eva INFLUENCE ur posting to rivers state, the state government doesn't pay a dime.all corpers in rivers must teach. no body is allowed 2 go 2 any ministry,no accommodation,worst of all the cost of living is very high,ur 19800 can finish in 2 weeks.a plate of eba n fish in the riverine area can go 4 as high as 500 niara. Transport is high and everything is expensive. The possibilities of finding a job after service is very very low.i won't advice any1 I kw 2 serve here

Am not a girl but as far as u are a in camp, the same rules apply s to girls and guys
1. Don't bother to buy expensive white shoe, u ll get a rubber shoe here cost #500 and easy to wash because when rain falls ...

2. You can come a day early, if u had paid the 4k online, you will thank your stars during registration.

3. As for weather, it rotates. Always pray for raini early in the morning so as not to go for morning parade.

4. 1st week is hell, from second week it gets better.

5. If u get here early, and ask for existing corp member they can tell u all the necessary things to do before it gets crowded.

6. About the dos and don't . Just follow the rules that's all, the time table is always followed get it and prepare.

7. For food, trust me if u have cash hold plenty, a friend budgeted about 30k she has finished it, although she spends a lot. I took about same and I still have left over. Alternatively, if u can be eating the camps food. Get ready to take eba and egusi mixture water, and rice one spoon.

Stream2 rivers... Stream 1 girls please is there any particular hostel that is the best... Someone should brief us about the camp, the weather, do and donts, can we come a day to camp? Will they alloe us sleep in camp a day before camp opens? Thanks
