SIRTee15: I just don't understand this Muslims. I'm yet to see any superior argument he brought forward. He could neither defend the L1 nor notochord theory he's been postulating. The funny thing is that Muhammad he's trying to defend here gave a honest answer when he was caught lying. He quickly said he doesn't know much about general knowledge and they shouldn't hold his word against him when it comes to worldly affairs like science.
Which means if it had been discovered during Muhammad's time that the semen is actually from the testes and not the backbone, he will admit he was saying nonsense and admonish his followers to ignore his lies.
Also, if it was revealed during his time the damage and evil of child marriage, Muhammed wil admit it was wrong for him to have married Aisha, and will warn his companions to leave girl child alone and not be consumed with greed.
But now we have drlateef and co trying to be more Muslim than Muhammed. They think they know more than Muhammed who created the religion.
Really I just pity them because they are forever stuck with the Qur'an, they are practically slave to that book. They must defend all the nonsense in it even if it only makes Islam and Muhammed a subject of mockery. All i need you to do is to go and bring a young brilliant doctor who knows embryology very well. Itopalucky: A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has urged the International Community to disassociate themselves and also steer clear of the proposed inauguration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Frank who described such event as illegal, specifically called on the United State of America, United Kingdom, European Union, African Union and ECOWAS among others, "to as a matter of integrity steer clear from any form of preparations or attendance of the planned inauguration."
In a statement released Monday in Abuja, Timi Frank said it will be in the best interest of the International Community to properly ascertain the mood of the country and allow for all litigations and closure on the outcome of the electoral cases in court before lending support to whomsoever is declared as the authentic winner of the recently conducted elections in Nigeria.
According to the Bayelsa born political activist, save for the voice of reason, the aftermath of the declaration of the Presidential results would have turned sour, but for the timely appeal by the various opposition leaders to their supporters in seeking redress at the courts as the only constitutional recognized means in challenging an illegality.
He said: "As last minute preparations for the inauguration of an illegality continues to dominate the political and social space in Nigeria, we are poised to advise all intending invitees especially the international community to steer clear from any of such events, as more Nigerians continue to disassociate themselves from being a part of this grand conspiracy foisted on the Nigerian people by dubious state actors, using instruments of coercion and manipulation in subverting the will of the people.
"Never have we witnessed such brazen criminality perpetrated by an electoral umpire and the ruling party in disenfranchising the majority of the people by conniving with other agencies of government to ensure victory by all means to a particular candidate.
"The hasty announcement of the Presidential results by the electoral umpire, who is also a major accomplice in this regard, came as a shock to many, when the electoral body itself failed to use its own stipulated guidelines in the declaration of results.
"By blatantly refusing to follow its own procedure in the final declarations of results as announced earlier to all Nigerians by the INEC chief, it will be safe to conclude that the last minute change of plans was the final icing on the cake in ensuring that the will of the people is subverted and truncated by any means necessary.
"In the light of the aforementioned, I would like to call on all members of the international community, especially the US, UK, EU, AU, ECOWAS and others to as a matter of integrity steer clear from any form of preparations or attendance of the planned inauguration.
"Accepting to be present for this all time charade, which is already subjudice will subsequently give credence to this illegality by the various governments which you represent. It will be in your best interest to properly ascertain the mood of the country and allow for all litigations and closure on this matter before you lend your support to whomsoever is declared as the authentic winner of the elections.
"Furthermore, the support for constitutional democracy as practiced by the US, UK and the EU states cannot be overemphasized. Therefore, the international community must disassociate itself forthwith from plans to attend any inauguration, until the will of the people is expressly determined by the judiciary."
Frank, Frank, who is the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP), Ambassador to East Africa and Middle East, said any form of congratulatory messages or acceptability demonstrated by representatives of various countries in Nigeria "will further suggest that indeed your governments are accomplices in disenfranchising the good people of Nigeria of a functional democracy as practiced and preached by your various governments.
"It will be foolhardy and catastrophic to join in endorsing an illegitimate process leading to the forming of a government, which is clearly not in tandem with your values.
"I will like to therefore, seek your understanding in boycotting any of such invitations aimed at undermining our hard earned democracy. Let your voices be made clear once and for all in ensuring that the proper process leading to the declaration of a winner is followed and accepted by all Nigerians in this regard."

SIRTee15: Ok drlateef has failed to respond to our rebuttal. Maybe because he has no answer or he's trying to see how he can argue against artificial intelligence. Anyway I need to move to the next question. But before that, it has to be made clear that Qur'an is not from God. Why?
God said in his word that he knew and made us right in our mother's womb
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139.13-16
Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen. Isaiah 44.2
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, Isaiah 44.24
Did not he who made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb? Job 31.15
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1.5
As we can see from multiple verses from the bible, God knew us in the womb and fully creates all our development stages as a fetus right from conception to birth. If God is to write a book on our embryogenesis there will no mistake or error. It will be 100% accurate.
The embryogenesis of semen and ovaries given in the Qur'an is wrong, an error...a guess work that failed woefully. No amount of explanation or manipulation by modern day Muslims can cover for the glaring mistake. This proves God did not dictate the Qur'an. The book isnt from God, it lacks credibility to be called a divine book, it's simply the writings of men doing guess work with science.
If Muslims want to continue believing the Koran, that's fine but if they are to be honest, they should question if it's truly the direct word of God
Drlateef, my 2nd question....if u happy to continue: As a medical doctor, tell me the age u think a girl can consent to marriage.
Other Muslims can help..... You are not honest, no point further discussing with you. You read book and quoted from embryology book and yet you removed vital portions of it to conceal your failures in argument. You see notochord in your book and yet omitted it to suit your fake argument. No point further talking to you. Bye!!! |

SIRTee15: Leave TenQ alone...he's not in the medical field. Discuss embryology with someone who knows what he's talking about.
Disprove the below....
The embryogenesis of the testis arise from the Germinal ridge which is from the mesothelial layer of the peritoneum. The other continuous structure is the mesonephros and not the notochord. At first, the mesonephros and gonadal ridge are continuous, but as the embryo grows the gonadal ridge gradually becomes pinched off from the mesonephros but carries some cells from the latter. So in simple terms, the testes is from the abdominal sac and the kidney tissues. It has nothing to do with the back bone. The development of the spine from the notochord and neural tissue is completely different and not in anyway related to gonadal development.
Integrity of the Qur'an and Muhammad is at stake here. You need to attend medical school or grab a book of embryology by keith Moore. This professor, the author also confirmed everything I am telling you. The notochord is the future spinal cord, a ridge develops at the level of future T12/L1 of notochord and it is called urogenital ridge. The ridge divides into genital and mesonephric components. The former forms testis or ovary in both sides of the notochord. The latter forms the kidneys. Mesoderm from the abdominal wall migrate into the ridges before dividing into each parts. The mesoderm develops into future sperm cells and ovules in females. The endoderm of the abdominal wall forms the glands in the testis. That is the detail I have given you. You missed many of these details because you did not do embryology as a course and you are not a doctor. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria In Trouble Our Revenue Too Small To Sustain Size Of Debt. by drlateef: 4:09pm On May 13, 2023 |
post=123113425: Nigeria’s borrowing space keeps reducing due to the inability to service debt. During the induction of newly-elected lawmakers of the 10th national assembly in Abuja. I said the ratio of the country’s budget to its gross domestic product (GDP), unlike other countries, is less than its needs. While the size of the federal government budget for 2023 created some excitement, the aggregate budgets of all governments in the country amount to about N30 trillion. That is less than 15 percent in terms of ratio to GDP. Even on the African continent, the ratio of spending is about 20 percent. South Africa is about 30 percent, Morocco is about 40 percent and at 15 percent, that is too small for our needs. That is why there is fierce competition for the limited resources. That can determine how much we can relatively borrow. We now have very limited borrowing space, not because our debt to GDP is high, but because our revenue is too small to sustain the size of our debt. That explains our high debt service ratio. Once a country’s debt service ratio exceeds 30 percent, that country is in trouble and we are pushing towards 100 percent and that tells you how much trouble we are in. We have limited space to borrow. When you take how much you can generate in terms of revenue and what you can reasonably borrow, that establishes the size of the budget. The next thing would be to pay attention to government priority regarding what project gets what. The budget is not a shopping list. In the end, the budget only contained expenditure. Earlier this year, Zainab Ahmed, the minister of finance, budget and national planning, said the overall deficit for the 2023 budget is N11.34 trillion, representing 5.03 percent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP). Ahmed said the budget deficit would be financed mainly by borrowings; noting that N7.04 trillion would be sourced from domestic sources, N1.76 trillion from foreign sources, and N1.77 billion from multilateral and bilateral loan drawdowns, while privatisation proceeds would provide N206.18 billion. As of December 2022, Nigeria’s total public debt had hit N46.25 trillion. Recently, the senate retroactively approved a N22.7 trillion loan that had been spent by the executive arm of the government. On Wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari wrote to the senate for approval to borrow $800m from the World Bank.

Christianity Etc › Re: The Concept Of SIN: Islam Versus Christianity by drlateef: 4:05pm On May 13, 2023 |
TenQ: I asked the question: Do you know where the female bone of the taraib is?
1. Imam at-Tabari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The commentators differed as to what is meant by at-taraa’ib and where they are located. Some said that the word at-taraa’ib refers to the place where the necklace goes on a woman’s chest. This was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas, ‘Ikrimah and others.
2. Then he – i.e., at-Tabari (may Allah have mercy on him) – said: The correct view concerning that, in our opinion, is the view of those who said that it is the place where the necklace goes on a woman’s chest, because that is the well-known usage in the Arabic language and in Arabic poetry.
This view that was favoured by the imam of the mufassireen (Qur’an commentators), that what is meant is a man’s backbone and the taraa’ib of a woman, which is the place where her necklace goes, is also the view that was favoured by Imam al-Qurtubi in his Tafseer (16/343, 5/20) and by al-Haafiz Ibn Katheer in his Tafseer (8/375). It was also favoured by al-‘Allaamah Muhammad al-Ameen ash-Shanqeeti (may Allah have mercy on him) who said:
It should be noted that Allah has explained that some this water, which is the nutfah (sperm drop), comes from the sulb, i.e., it is the man’s water, and some of it comes from the taraa’ib, i.e., it is the woman’s water. This is what is referred to in these verses in which Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“So let man see from what he is created! He is created from a water gushing forth Proceeding from between the back-bone (as-sulb) and the ribs (at-taraa’ib)” [at-Taariq 86:5-7].
So, again: Using this same logic, can you explain how the reproductive fluids of the woman come from her taraib Those verses are referring to area between the backbone and last rib. That is L1 region. I have already explained this to you. That that is where both the sperm and ovaries originate from, in both males and females. |

Location of testis is common knowledge in ancient Arabia, they know people with crushed testis will be infertile. But what they don't know is how it relates to semen production or fertility. So Muhammed wasn't confused when he said the semen proceeds from between the backbone and ribs. He simply wanted to prove he was from God by making bogus statements to deceive ignorant folks. Unfortunately he failed. The sperm proceeds from the testis and not in between the back bone and the ribs. Needless to answer ignorant ones. Go and make your research. |

You've been truthful mostly till this moment of your Taqqiya. The female ovaries also arise from same origin but the cells differentiate into ovaries. Then the mulerian duct drag the ovaries to the iliac fosa area in the ovarian bed. That’s why the blood supply and nerve supply to testes and ovaries arise from the same L1 region of back bone. |

SIRTee15: 1. As a doctor u claim to be, do u agree with the Qur'an that the semen is from the backbone. 2. I'm sure u deal with children, tell me when u think a female child can consent to marriage.
U can choose not to answer the next 2... 3. Why was Jesus called the Messiah in the Qur'an. Messiah is an Hebrew word meaning the anointed who will save his people. Does Qur'an agree with above definition, if not then why was it used for Jesus. The Arabic definition of Messiah is inconsequential because it's not an Arabic word. The Qur'an also said the Jews called Jesus the Messiah. And because of their saying: “We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger.” They did not kill or crucify him, but it was made to appear so to them. Those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof, but a conjecture they follow; they did not kill him for certain. (4.157)
The Jews except for the Nazarites did not believe Jesus was the Messiah and they never called him the Messiah. The Nazarites obviously did not kill Jesus. Where did Qur'an find these Jews who believed Jesus was the Messiah and yet killed him. I will just limit myself to answering one question at a time, just as I advised you. 1. You asked if I agree that semen is from back bone. Answer is YES. The Quran chapter 86:5. Says: "Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted. Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs." My knowledge of human embryology perfectly situates the origin of testes which produce sperm to be correctly situated at the junction of L1 vertebra where the germinal ridge arises from the side of notochord in human embryo during the stage of organogenesis. These testes then descend into scrotal sacs around the time of birth. All trained doctors must have heard about undescended testes. This is an abnormality of descent which clearly shows that testes do not originate from scrotal sac but descend into scrotal sac from their origin. That origin has been accurately described anatomically and embryologically by Allah the owner of mankind. This is enough miracle for you because no scientists had prior knowledge of that before the Quran was revealed. And the Quran was revealed to an illiterate of all people. Even knowledgeable people at the time had no such knowledge. Your next question? |

TenQ: Am I also in misconception with these claims And it is easy to show that the Qur'an is full of contradictions to History, to Science, to Mathematics, to Logic etc.
1. If the Qur'an is from God, why does it say the sun set in some murky waters? 2. If the Qur'an is from God how does a man have his reproductive fluid from his backbone while the woman has her own reproductive fluids from her ribs? 3. If the Qur'an is from God, why did he report the fable/tale of the seven sleepers as actual events? 4. If the Qur'an is from God, why did he allow Prostitution for Muslims? 5. If the Qur'an is from God, why did he allow divorce of children (in child marriage)? 6. If the Qur'an is from God, why did it contain bed time stories told to Jewish children about Solomon who died for nearly a year standing and no body noticing ? 7. Qur'an says Jesus was not crucified and till today, no Muslim can tell us what happened: they are full of conjectures
If you want to challenge them, I will prove each to you using your Qur'an. Pick them one by one.
But Allah didn't say any of these: do you believe in All hadiths! Just as you claimed a hadith I quoted was modified by Christians: could this no have also been modified by Muslims? By the way: It conflicts with the earlier revealed scripture.
As of the time of Mohammed, Christians have believed that Allah is Jesus the son of Mary, they believed in the day of Judgment, they believed in one God (if you know of christians at the time of Mohammed who didn't believe that, please Id accept your evidence) Quran 6:72 They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers. Allah was condemning Christians here but then,
Why would Allah say that they go to paradise?
1. There is NO single Jew who worshipped Moses: your evidence if you disagree! 2. Allah Deceived the Christians just as he deceived the Jews: Do you agree that Allah deceived the Jews an Romans about the crucifixion and death of Christ? If Yes! Tell me one thing Allah did diferently for the Christians (including mary the mother of Jesus, the Disciples, the followers etc) 3. Are you Ahmadiyah? You said that "Jesus was possibly nailed but not killed on cross". This is contrary to the Quran Quran 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.
Allah was very clear 1. Jesus was NOT killed 2. Jesus was NOT Crucified 3. It was MADE to APPEAR to them that Jesus was crucified and killed The process of hanging a person on a tree with the purpose of executing him is called crucifixion.
Actually, it is the Muslims who follow their own CONJECTURES as the Jews, Romans and Christians can tell you exactly what happened to Jesus. Write all your queries down and ask me questions one by one. |

CondenseMilk: You didn't know she was pregnant within same year!
Big lie It is possible. But I suspect some neglect by the man. That might have made the girl to return to her ex, believing he was no more interested on her. |

DownTime44: Hi guys
Please i put up this post basically because of my elder brother. I sincerely want to know if i was wrong talking to him, or I could have just let him be. I wasn't myself ever since i talked to him, and i was somewhat having guilty conscience since then.
I have an elder brother, he's 38 years old and also the first son. I am the fourth child in the family of five. The second child is a female and she's married. We lost our third child, that's my immediate elder brother some years back, while i have a younger brother. I came from a humble background. Lost my dad while i was in JS 3, even before his death we had been hustling on a daily basis for survival, and we live happily as one big family. My mother, siblings and i do hawk daily before we could eat. All thanks to public school in Lagos, my family wouldn't have had the opportunity to basic education. We hawk daily after school, weekdays and weekend. My family was bred and brought up in Ajegunle.
Few years after the demise of my father, we struggled to pay house rent. We had to leave Ajegunle to a local and developing area. I didn't allow my family conditions deter or weigh me down. Never! I believe I'd make it in life legitimately without venturing into crime, fraud, theft etc. After my secondary school, i was into all sorts of labour work. I worked in factory, building site, cleared bushes, laundry man , just to save up and further my education. I worked for 6 years after my secondary school, bought a bike from the little savings i had and proceed to school through jamb. I gave the bike to someone who often deliver #6,000 weekly for the upkeep of my family. I was in year 2 when i let go of the bike, it was on a higher purchase and the agreement we have had elapsed. I hustled my way through school and graduated. I'm done with service last year but couldn't land a job, probably due to my age. I'd be 29 this year and most graduate trainee often request for age below 28. Although, i had a 2.1. I'm only managing in a pure water factory to make ends meet, keep soul and body together and support my family
I sat my elder brother down and talked to him. He has been hustling like every other person in the family but i don't understand what's happening. He didn't futher his education nor learn a handwork. He's 38 but still live under his parents roof. He has been doing conductor work for many years. The family had talked to him several times to look for something else. It's fine you are hustling as a man for survival but doing conductor for many years without thinking of what else to do is wrong. A family friend of ours who later got to know what he does for a living had advice him also.
The bus he was following, the driver had misunderstanding with the owner and he collected his bus back. My elder brother had been idle for months, doing nothing. He claimed he has gone virtually everywhere in search of bus he could be working with but couldn't get any. This is a family that we all had to bring something no matter how little to survive. I was talking to him as a younger brother. I asked him why didn't he heed to people's advice when they were advising him then to stop the conductor work and look for something to learn, if perhaps he doesn't want to further his education? He doesn't believe in Nigeria education, because he could count graduates without job or those with petty job. My elder brother wear almost rag as clothes. I had to give him some of my little wears I'm managing. He has just one slippers. We don't wear same size of shoe or sandals, we could have been sharing that also. He sold his phone to feed sometime ago and had been without phone. I was initially saving to get my mum a small phone but i had to give him the phone instead.
He was crying when i was talking to him. I understand the situation of things in the country, which i myself is going through. I was just trying to know what other things he could come up with. I am not happy seeing him sitting idle doing nothing. The fact that he's the first son and found himself in this condition at that age breaks my heart daily. My mum had been so worried about his condition. I had to convince her that things will be better. I don't want her to develop high Blood Pressure that could lead to her untimely death.
Please guys was i wrong talking to my elder brother? Your situation is like mine. And I do talk to my brother all the time. You have to do it with respect and sensitivity. Also pray for him. |
