It borders on dangerous territory when we attempt to validate the "word of God" with feelings or some strange phenomena that cater to our feelings.  The only folks that fell backwards in the bible were the soldiers that came to arrest Jesus.  Please ! Please! Please! for the love of all that is holy and righteous, do not add to, or take way from the bible. There is a stern warning not to do so.  "Falling under the power" "aka "slain in the spirit" is not biblical. The closest i have seen in my research about the phenomena, point to its origin being from Eastern Gnostic Mystism.

We don't just do test to check the immune response. After the second lady tested negative, a viral-load test was done. This is not Nigeria. Doctors here have to be very thorough and not be quick to give a false all-clear. The initial conclusion was that her specimen may have been mixed up in the laboratory (a rare occurence), but the microbiologists tested all over again. I know what i am saying. I need to let you know it takes some attention to detail to be a surgeon. Give me some credit.

I have seen a couple of HIV positive people who later tested negative. I will tell you because as a doctor, i found it hard to believe until i saw a confirmatiom ELISA test both before and after. I now believe on Jesus and the fact that he works miracles. Some of my doctor friends here in the US that witnessed the same still believe its an illusion of some sort or there is a perfect explanation for why the test came out positive the first time (a mix up probably). I Know it wasnt because that makes for a very lucrative lawsuit. The patient prayed and confessed the word of GOD for months and she said Jesus healed her. I am very scientific and also realist, but i am also smart enoghh to know there are things beyond our realm of existence. I am convinced Jesus lives, and what he does for one he will do for another under the same circumstances.

While i empathize with the people of the Niger-delta and believe they deserve better than the deplorable conditions they currently live in, I totally despise the criminal activities of MEND. There are other ways to fight for your right. Terrorism is sure not one that yeilds lasting dividends.

If the cause is "better standards of living" (simply put) then it is achievable. RESOURCE CONTROL or CESSATION from Nigeria is chasing the wind and absolutely impossible. The issue here is survival of the fittest. Nigeria will never let that happen. The only proceeds from this "ill-conceived MEND aggression" will be years of anarchy in the region while the hoodlums in the name of MEND fighters enrich themselves through ransoms (which in my opinion puts them in the same category as the corrupt Nigerian politicians) and the poor Niger-deltans they are supposedly fighting for, wallow in poverty and die in the cross-fire between them and the Nigerian military.

I dare say this will drag-on till the last drop of oil is taken from the region. Nigeria will rather endure this "MEND insurgency" than risk the impact of loosing the benefits from the oil. Its the lesser of two evils and at the moment, it makes sense to stay with the present arrangement. The people benefitting from the oil are living in peace in their respective states.

Pat Utomi is an excellent administrator. However i dont think he has what it takes to manage the sharks in the Nigerian political system. Nigerian politics is a hydra-headed monster that can only br tamed or at the very least managed by the "boys". The time will come for great people like Pat Utomi but that time is not now.

The Nigerian army is well and able to exterminate these criminals but for the fact that they hide behind innocent human shields like the cowards they are. A military offeensive against them now will result in the loss of thousands of innocent lives which will spark international outcry. This is the only reason MEND (animals) is still alive.

With the exception of those that got their 2.1 degrees through a questonable means and the ones that got a 2.2 as a result of victimization (or other unforseen circumstances), the reaasonable concluson is the 2.1 graduates are either academically better than the 2.2 graduates or they were more diligent in their studies. I really dont blame the companies as they reserve the right to use any screening method they deem fit. This has absolutely nothing to do discrimination. There comes reward with hardwork and diligence. I think it is very myopic and shallow to give excuses for failure. Keep your head up and try. As the old nigerian saying goes: "The downfall or setback of a man is not the end of his life".
