India also has a mammoth GDP (almost equal with that of Japan and Germany) but that's just because it's a highly populated country. We all agree that the quality of life in India is nowhere near that of the Japan or Germany.

Ekiti has a GDP of $2.8 billion and a population of about 2 million people. That's a GDP per capita of $1,000.

Seychelles has a GDP of $1.1 billion but a population of over 100,000. That's a GDP per capita of $11,000.

Clearly, the seycheless economy is almost 11x more efficient than Ekiti State. Ekiti state has no viable means of generating income, except for its schools. EKSU students pay as high as 100k for acceptance fee in the state university.

Seychelles is a tourist and agro-based economy, it is one of the most (if not the most) attractive places to visit and live in Africa. Nothing of that sort can be said for Ekiti. No production. Just spending and vibes.

A more effective measure of any economy is GDP per capita (per person). But as usual these dark souls cherry pick stats to paint a false image. I spit on this government based purely on lies.

If you read closely, you will discover he wasn't giving the stats to make us believe Ekiti is working. He only said that to sensitize the government to work.
If they earn much, they should be able to fix infrastructures and the rest. You got the message wrong.

Things are very expensive. recently got a new job. Good pay.
Transport costs ₦40000 in 20 days.
If I will calculate cost of transporting myself too ( buying fuel) and that of my nephew who I asked to go learn interior decoration while he awaits his admission, then in a month we will be spending 105k on transportation.
Since after I made that calculation last week, I have been having headache.

It's the OP being insensitive that is the subject here. Do you know if he is a mental disorder patient or a serial killer? These are things whites ordinarily investigate. Do you know this guy might one day knowingly cause problems if he stops getting bad news to report? He should be discouraged. I have never stopped people from posting news . Hello Nlanders, It's baffles me when I see people sleeping deeply inside public transport just 5 to 10 minutes after the car or bus moved.Does it indicate sleep disorder or those people didn't have enough sleep in their home.?

You see, I used to share this ideology and usually see stupidity in it until I moved back to Lagos.
I decided I wanted to live and work on the island. I got a job in Ajah and I was trying to get an accommodation there too. Getting a place wasn't coming easily. It took me exactly a month after I resumed work to get an apartment.

I was squatting with my brother on the mainland ( Egbeda). My work schedule was 24hrs on and 48hrs off. I wake up as early as 4:30am to get set ( that's an hour I hate to wake up). I take public transport because driving is more stressful for me plying that route.You see, after working for 24hrs in a very busy centre, seeing patients all through the day and night and barely getting to close my eyes for 45mins straight, I become extremely fatigued the next morning.

Inside BRT bros, as I land on the bus, sleeping mode gets activated uncontrollably. I feel embarrassed for myself as I had always thought people involved are stupid. One day I had to "shalaye" to the person seated close to me. Omo, later on I stopped caring.

Ondo State needs to wake up. There are lots of natural resources lying fallow in the state.

Btw, has the bitumen factory started production or was it all election stunt?

Terminal illness for that guy shown in the picture?! Putting into consideration that it started suddenly?! That's a pure case of an emergency situation. You guys are just impossible. Nigerians can't be pleased.
You would prefer the hospital telling him that they can't give it a trial? Even if the chances of surviving a surgery is 30 perc, the doctor, anywhere in the world would still give it a trial because you can't tell who the 30perc would be. Even if it's terminal illness, is treatment free?
