It has been the most amazing year, you know the kind of year God decides to embarrass and bombard me with blessings.

We moved to our own personal building this year.

Bought our second car

Began my post graduate training to become a specialist.

Good health and protection

Unmerited favour in my husband's career.

God rounded up the year for us with a juicy contact.

Help me praise Jehovah my God, my love and my all.

I am in need of a very good tablet, my budget is between 40-60k, I am not that into technology I was thinking of a Samsung product but going by what I am reading here seems there are other options, please experts, advice accordingly. Thanks

Its not rocket science,let your focus be on raising intelligent,polite,well nourished smart children.Send them to a very good school(it doesn't have to be so expensive).Feed them with plenty of milk ,eggs n fruits.For me as a routine,minimum of an egg per day and a cup of milk at night.Make sure they sleep very well minimum of 10hours.make sure they don't spend all their free time watching cartoon,they should play ball,ride bicycle,play simple games,learn to swim,learn to play at least a musical instrument,talk to them intelligently,introduce them to your faith and never forget to pray for them.May God reward our labour on them.

There is really no justification for any form of abuse,be it verbal,emotional or physical.I strongly believe the beating did not start that day,that man is used to beating his wife,am not absolving d woman of any blame either.Men should know that women will always rant,nag and even yell at least once in a while,what makes you a man is that ability to control yourself.Any man that lays his hand on a woman,be it a younger sister,girlfriend,colleague or wife is an animal.once u do that d woman is ever justified.

Recently while driving home from work,I was in a bumper - bumper kind of traffic,it was around 8pm on a friday evening.There was a toyota camry beside me,obviously occupied by a couple and their three children ,they were in a fierce argument,the woman talking loudly,the man also responding with a loud tone,before I knew it,the man shouted on top of his voice"if you do not keep quiet I ll park this car and beat the hell out of you",you know now, the woman said something like" o to be"(u no fit) ,believe me,the man parked,open the door of the side of the car the woman was,dragged her out ,started beating her like a thief,the children were screaming,it was such an embarrassing sight,other road users had to stop to separate them. I could not sleep that night,I was just preoccupied by the thought of what I witnessed,I thought about the woman,the innocent children the fate of the marriage etc if I were the woman what will I do? Well,I believe and know that it is very possible to be a career woman who manages her home well,its kind of difficult, but there are ways around it if u have a very supportive patner.
However,I disagree with the notion that a full time housewife probably has no ambition, opting for that in itself requires a lot of determination and sacrifice.I ve been on leave for sometime now and u need to see my son's facial expression whenever he comes back from school ,it is priceless.
I thought to myself,this is how it should be,but I can't give up my career ,I ll rather manage the two to the best of my ability.
Fulfilment in whatever path chosen by us is the most important thing.
Finally a woman with a career and a good marriage is the one who has a GRAND SUCCESS.

I was brought up amidst very sucessful women,who are far richer than their husbands e.g my mum,my uncle's wife,my aunty,my mother in law etc.
These women have so much respect for their husbands dt sometimes I get angry.at least I learnt dt having more money than your husband does not mean you should rub it on his face.
It all boils down to the kind of home training you got as a lady.
No african man will allow you rubbish his ego just because you are richer than him,so all you rich single ladies,drop your shoulders find yourselves good men,don't die single,old and frustrated .

I really do not care about some useless men who for reasons highlighted by d op sleeps with the maid,d truth is dt such men are randy , indisciplined and lacks self respect.infact,they(such men),would have done it with some other women anyway.
My own is that any wife should not deprive herself of living a wholesome life in the name of being a perfect wife because you can never be.
A man who will cheat will do so no matter what you do.

Ever faithful GOD,to you be all glory,honour,power,victory and might.
He blessed my husbd with a fantastic job after 1 year of unemployment.
He also blessed my younger brother and bro in law with jobs of their dream.
A very dear cousin who has been waiting unto God for d fruit of the womb for 7yrs is now heavily pregnant.
My father celebrated his 60yr btdy dis year.
My gorgeous daughter clocked 1 this year.I can go on and on.He his absolutely faithful.Thank you my father,my God and my all.

I m glad we have a president who seems to have a heart for God,though this rare trait is not being maximised by the men of God he has decided to get closer to ,they are merely exploiting the situation to their own advantage and insatiable quest for wealth .Surely God will judge all who have decided to make a walk with God look like "everything goes".

@op,there is nothing confusing here,its left to your sis to decide what she wants in marriage.
D guy is a good man,he is just trying to let your sis know who he is so she can make up her mind.
She should know that whoever you marry is a reflection of your intelligence.
She should think deep, far and pray,as long as she feels peaceful marrying him,why not.

Its not a gainsaying that many married men are unhappy,the foundation of every marriage is very important , this is a major source of sorrow,regrets and disdain in marriages.
I used to tell my colleagues in school that we are product of choices we make in life.Pastor Bimbo (of blessed memory),said that the choice of your life patner is a reflection of your intelligence.
Until people begin to lay aside frivolities to dwell on real virtues and enduring attributes which ultimately form the scaffolds on which a lasting marriage is built ,they should not expect to be happy in their marriage.
What kind of marriage do you hope to have when a well brought up fellow marries from a different faith,when you choose beauty over character,wealth over love,family choice over personal choice etc.
For already married people ,the deed is done but u can make it work if both can compromise ,for the singles out there, you can make a better choice.
I chose my hapiness and sanity over wealth ,eloquence and beauty.We can't just get enough of each other.

@avalani u may need to reconsider your opinion about physical attraction being the most important factor for u in marriage.u ll do yourself a lot of good if u see beyond d physical.
Trust me,marriage is not for d faint hearted ,infact husbands of most fat married women don't even see the excess adipose tissue n stretch marks,they see far beyond that.I had to take a conscious effort to loose weight cos my husband was not complaining at all(ko tie riro rara) .
So don't be too hard on yoursef life is too short look inward, be true to yourself and pray well.May God give you the bone n flesh dt is yours.cheers.

ItS really distressing for a woman to find out that her husband(not boyfriend o)is in love with anoda woman.That is why I always encourage wives not to relegate their duties to the kitchen only,you have to be his lover,gist like teenagers,play like real buddies,be free, make his interests yours and his business your headache n finally shag him like a LovePeddler .trust me your man ain't go nowhere.

It was my 2nd year in d univ,I went to visit my boyfriend in his school,so he took me to this popular local joint ard his house to eat amala n abula.I ended up with a terrible diarrhoea ,it was so bad dt I pooed on his bed n vommitted on his rug.I was so ashamed of myself,but he just smiled nicely,packed d bedsheet washed it n cleared my mess.That day I felt so loved.
Today we have a cute boy n girl.
Only God can love me more than he does,even me don't knw why.

I was so disgusted in church today, when I saw how ladies, both married and single wore micro mini gowns and bossom revealing tops to d house of God without any fear.I kept asking myself why ? Pls reasonable contribution
