OasisofRefuge: Based on the bible, once you are married, there's no going back. except when there's a case of adultery or death.
Today, people have minor differences and still divorce. As a child of God, is it acceptable to divorce under any condition apart from adultery?
Can a Christian get married, and probably after realising the spouse is not good enough or not up to what he/she desires and ask for a divorce, and then remarries. Either this or remain in the marriage unhappy for ever.
Can a Christian ask for divorce when there's domestic violence or stay in the marriage till the end of time?
Please share with us based on God's word. Is there any reason why a child of God should divorce apart from adultery?
There is no room 4 divorce after marriage. Any so called born again thinking otherwise is deceiving ur self.
ypzilanti: Can this man aspire to any political post in western or northern nigeria? No. We need to tell ourselves some truth in this country. What type of country are we when its easier for a citizen to aspire and win based on personal merits in europe or america than his own " country "
A7: Yeah he is the worst and the most insensitive also.
Nothing different has been said for any nigerian president. Nigeria is not an easy country to govern and it looks like that presidential post is just another avenue to insult the person sitting on it.
lincoln123: I can see that u're not alright, if David Mark himself can still addressed Tambuwal as speaker of house of rep, whole d Hell can say his not
sureguy02: Idiot...why don't u tell us when any court ordered him to vacate his seat as the speaker. Get get a life....or better still, go hang yourself. You should be walking on this earth.
children of nowadays alway insulting their seniors
firstkyn: my felllow naialande reader was just passing the Obalende area of Lagos when he spotted this at a make-shift shop. He took a pic and sent it in. They now sell this in public?
those things are rolled tobacco not what u think it is
Its only in Nigeria that one would doggedly stay in a position that will be the death of him. Tumbuwal has a court order that says he should vacate his sit. Why is he trying to go to the house to preside over the house when he is no more the speaker. The guy knows himself he shouldnt be there, that was why he smartly refused to identify himself as the speaker. So what is he doing there?
Obiagelli: The All Progressives Congress has strongly condemned Saturday’s invasion of its offices in Lagos State by security agents, calling it perhaps the worst political scandal in Nigeria’s history. In a statement issued in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said the invasion can only be likened to the Watergate Scandal that led to the resignation of US President Richard Nixon in 1974, as a result of the June 17, 1972 break- in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C., and the attempted cover-up of its involvement by the Republican Nixon Administration. It therefore called for an independent inquiry to fish out those who ordered the needless and unprovoked attack on the offices of the APC and ensure that they face very serious consequences, irrespective of their status The party said: “Saturday’s attack is another one in the string of attacks and illegal actions of the PDP-led administration. The attack was unwarranted and unjustifiable. To attack one of the offices of the opposition party, APC, where legitimate operations of the party were being undertaken is an act of fascism and totalitarianism. To the point of brigandage, the invasion of the APC centre is an assault on the APC and its entire membership across the country. It must not go unpunished.” The party said though it had been tipped off about an impending attack on the ‘secret warehouse’ of our leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu, “we dismissed such plan because there was no ‘secret warehouse’ anywhere and also because we never imagined that the government will attack the offices of an opposition party in a constitutional democracy. Obviously we under-estimated the desperation of the (President Goodluck) Jonathan Administration and its worsening proclivity to impunity.” Giving details of the invasion, the APC said in the early hours of Saturdaymorning, a combined team of men of the DSS and OP- MESA stormed the Bola Ajibola Data centre belonging to the APC in Oleja area of Lagos and arrested 25 APC data agents and three security guards. The party added: “In what was a gestapo- like operation, the APC membership data centre located at Number 10, Bola Ajibola street , off Allen Avenue in Ikeja, came under siege between the hours of 5:30 am and 7:30 am on Saturday. An operation of terror and brigandage was unleashed on a legitimate operation of a leading national party. They came without a search warrant for the premises. Over 50 security operatives drafted from Abuja operations blocked the two major street entrances to the APC data entry centre, pulled down the gates and spent over 2 hours ransacking and vandalizing the centre. “More than a dozen computers were destroyed. The server was also vandalized along with other equipments in the building. Just like the Watergate scandal in the USA, the state-sponsored security operatives apparently acting at the behest of the ruling PDP government turned the office upside down, and pulled out and vandalized everything in sight. “If the PDP-led government and the security agents had done due diligence and acted professionally, they would have known that the APC data centre is a legitimate operation and the staff are Nigerian youths who were left jobless by the Jonathan government. Apart from the Lagos centre, the operation is decentralized and similar centres are functional in about six different locations around the country. “They chose to believe the lie that it was a warehouse belonging to one of the national leaders of the party where dangerous weapons were being kept, when in fact it is a centre for entering the data provided by the millions of Nigerians who registered as members of the party during its membership registration exercise.” The party described the invasion as another act of impunity, which it said is now a trademark of the Jonathan-led presidency and being edged on by the hawks in the PDP. The APC called the invasion of its offices an attempt to suppress the opposition, get details of its membership with the intention of using it to rig the 2015 elections and also to destroy the spirit of democracy. It said: “When in Oct. 6th, 2013 we issued a statement alerting Nigerians that the Jonathan Administration was using Rivers State as a testing ground for creeping fascism ahead of the 2015 elections, some said we were raising a false alarm.
naptu2: It took me forever to remember the name of this movie. This was one of those "holiday movies" (movies that NTA showed virtually every holiday in the 1980s). It's a delightful, but long, cartoon movie.
The Little Convict (1979).
After failing to sell any of his paintings at a funfair, an artist begins to tell his granddaughter about the origins of his paintings.
We are then transported on board a British convict ship headed for New South Wales where we meet six convicts; Toby Nelson (a young boy), Polly Nelson (Toby's older sister), "Dipper" Davey (an old pick-pocket), Big George (a Blacksmith), Jack Doolan (a highwayman), and "Silly Billy" (a village idiot). The five men are selected to do hard labor for the military - under the supervision of Sergeant "Bully" Langden and Corporal "Weasel" Wesley - while Polly (secretly in love with Big George) is sent to work as a servant girl at the governor's home.
Toby in the meantime saves a baby koala after Bully and Weasel kill it's mother while hunting, and keeps it as a pet, naming it Yo-Yo. But when Bully's continuing abuse of the convicts ends in old Dipper's death, Jack Doolan, fearing a similar fate, escapes and Big George is thrown in jail for helping him to escape.
Left with only Yo-Yo to keep him company, Toby sets out to find Jack Doolan in order to free Big George. Along the way he meets an Aboriginee boy name Whooranga, who has a strange power over animals. Together with Jack Doolan, our three heroes plan a daring rescue attempt for Big George, only to be faced with making the ultimate sacrifice upon carrying it out.
Bros thanx alot. I watched this as a baby but could never place the name. Now I know it. There are more out there. Pls let's remember them and place here. Has anyone mentioned captain scarlet or thunder birds.
