OP you just signed up to be bashed. I rather marry a woman that's working offshore sef than have a housewife! You've not looked at the disadvantages of having a housewife. 1. They can nag eeeh cos they aren't much busy. The working class woman is begging for time to rest and doesn't have much time to nag. 2. They'll suspect your every move cos boredom at home makes them think that every female around is a partner in infidelity. The working class woman knows you still have female colleagues and wouldn't bother you much. 3. The housewife even when busy, does the same routine of domestic chores and there's nothing to make her use her brain constructively, believe me, this manifests in other areas of their lives. 4. I tell people, working doesn't only pay your bills, it makes you exposed in life. You can't ever beat an exposed person when it comes to solving tasks. So the working class almost always wins! NB: I'm not married and before you disagree with me and tongue-lash me, just know that it's an opinion I got from observing many homes. ![]() |

Islie:Bro, did you read the whole post ![]() |
Your wife goes to work, you're bothered about cheating with her Boss. She turns housewife, you start worrying about the woman cheating with domestic staff and neighbours. The woman ain't the problem! Your mindset is!!! Insecurity is the problem! If my wife like make she be Dangote's personal secretary, if she cheats, good for her! Did they tie my leg to the marriage ![]() |
The security man knows all these and has all those links and him still dey gate ![]() Bros, leave that man, go inside go talk to people that own the business! |
Be harsh on her and she'll defend her past actions in her mind. Be nice to her and you've made her a judge over her own self, and believe me, that's a worse punishment than the former. #Selah |

Ain't married but depends on my wife. If she's a sensible woman, would tell her, if not, nooooo! *btw* why would I marry a senseless woman ![]() |
Am I surprised Nooooo!Ladies of these days! Tell your friend that it ain't enough reason to scatter his home. He should keep correcting her and also learn to over-look some stuffs, if he likes long life. |
Do I care ![]() No, I don't! |
kestolove95:You get ancestral problem ![]() |

I'll remove that nigerian movie and buy another one ![]() |
rickfreeman15:Yeah, I understand that but even if it's that, we need to get another goalie and move on nah. When he's back, he would fight for his place. That way, our football gains. |
Well, good for him. Make we find another keeper sharply! Nobody is bigger than our national team! NB: we just discovered that he lost his mum and as a sensible and civilised nation, we wish him well in this period of grief. We still love you Vincent Enyeama! |
I just imagined a woman doing all these things to me and mehn! I feel like getting married now!!! ![]() |
Don't shake babies like someone said earlier esp this old practice of throwing them up and catching them. It's very dangerous even if they don't fall off your arms! Babies have died from it and many more suffered serious damages. You ask how and i'll just say it's because it injures their young brains and you don't want to kill your own child. Google- shaken baby syndrome and understand better what I mean. Cc: Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Seun, Farano, |
You write all these long things, still get mind book FTC ![]() After they will say that kworuption is more with politicians ![]() Make I go tell Buhari first! ![]() |
Bjergtrolde:Goodnight bro, we acquired liver because just like soldiers, Nigeria threw us into the war front to fight with our bare hands. We do our best to keep people alive, but the faults in the system would always show up from time to time and embarrass everyone! When we demand that the government must address these issues and down tools, nigerians call us names and cajole us to continue in the same environment of mediocrity, what options do we have? We'll always be forced back to work. When it's election time, people insist that the next 'leader' must come from their side and after the elections, we bear their pains while themselves keeping wishing eventualities away from themselves and their loved ones. Well, I pray it doesn't come to anyone we love shaa. Final words, Nigerians should face realities and tackle our national challenges! |
Bjergtrolde:You're getting it wrong Sir! Most teaching hospitals have a policy that you can't send patients to private hospitals without a 'very very very' concrete reason and the scenario above doesn't defy that. Now that policy is to protect patients, so that they aren't diverted for selfish purposes. Now, back to this scenario, guess the lady was brought in by fellow students who must've stood there arguing why there are no spaces, which is wrong! If she was brought in an ambulance, the ambulance would've seen that the facilities are already stretched and she can't be received and make a swift turn to the next big health facility. So, that's why I tell you, the whole situation is pitiable and wrong! |
Nonsense! The law says that the medical personnel, the woman and all involved are all liable, so why arrest only the medical personnel? I don't stand for social and recreational abortion but you can't go to equity with guilty hands! |
Bjergtrolde:Bro, you transfer a patient that you've received, resuscitated or atleast attempted to resuscitate and probably initiated management. There's no report that they received her sef! My point is, the whole situation was wrong. She's a candidate for their medical centre, where the doctors should've started the resuscitation andd be in a better position to transfer her and ensure that she is received by a facility ready and able to give care. |
delishpot:Did the story say that they refused to attend to her or that there was no bed space ![]() NB- there's a limit to what you can do for a patient when the facilities are already fully stretched because Nigeria has sworn not to have functional mobile ambulances and emergency services in government hospitals! |
People surprise me in this country, where were the health personnel meant to keep the lady ![]() In their mouths Or can the students prove to us that there were bed spaces and they were denied access to it![]() Besides, it shouldn't be the students rushing her to UPTH, there's a reason why they have a medical centre in the university. The resuscitation should've started there. Though it pains me how we lose young and great minds in this country, I think we direct our anger at the wrong quarters! These same students protesting would gather and cheer a politician that visits their school and forget that the doctors and nurses you're tongue-lashing now can't expand the hospitals, they can't buy extra beds, they wouldn't have rejected the patients that came earlier and filled the bed spaces! We need to learn to channel our grievances to the right quarters! Instead of protesting in the hospital environment, go to the government house and scatter everything there and get them to truly hear your pain! RIP Kelechi, it's a pity your life was cut short but you live on in the memories of your loved ones. |
Cholls:Choi! It's well bro ![]() |
It's a pity OP. If you think you've suffered neglect from the healthcare providers, help us save the lives of many others out there, please make an official complaint to the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. It's at no cost to you Sir. Help us clean up this country. |
Makes sense |
Please house, 18 months of exclusive b-feeding ain't healthy. A baby ideally should get 6 months of b-feeding, then other feeds should be introduced gradually, but remember to note what the baby tolerates and introduce the feed accordingly. Then b-feeding can continue + the supplementary feeds( ie the introduced feeds) up till 2 years of life. Well, we know the realities of life esp as concerns b-feeding up till 2 yrs, but if you must tinker with anything, please allow them that 6 months exclusive. It helps their growth and development so much and even protects against some ailments that manifest in later stages of life. |
That's commendable of the guy! |
SweetyZinta:B is for Booking ![]() |
