Good day everyone, please we went to price some woods and we saw saw mill and fadala. I noticed that the saw mill cut type is smoother/ straight and seems better in length than the fadala. And the price difference is much too. Is there any other difference in quality? Thanks |

gentlesoul83: Thanks so much for the info on the woods. I had suspected the bolded too. As for the prices, I didn't really expect the carpenter to give the exact current prices, we intend going to price the woods and every other thing first personally. we just wanted to be sure of the exact type of good wood to price and then we can pay someone who recognizes wood a token to go with us for the buying though it might still be him eventually. The other quote we got was almost double no of woods even after I had told him we don't want kilimanjaro roof. Thank you. 1 Like |

KolaShangOne: Wow thanks we didn't even think of sawmills around atan. We will ask at those places. I read about ayin here too and the other man that responded here also mentioned it too dunno why the carpenter seems to be averse to hard wood (maybe I it's in my imagination) and then use melina for nogging. Yes we are on a budget, my mum had also mentioned Ijebu too we were just thinking of transport costs. Hopefully I will be back with an update after checking those areas first. Please can you also help check the estimate. The building is approximately 49 by 39 feet. One item is missing from the list initially we thought of doing the noggins later so he had already left it out of the written estimate and then we decided against that. 2 by 2 - 250 pieces at 400naira each

Good morning everyone please I need advice on the type of wood for roofing. The carpenter recommended melina or Ofu wood that they are good and termite resistant as the area is red sanded and termite prone and we will also Treat with soligmun and gamalin and kerosene. The only challenge is he says Ofu doesn't seem to be readily available in this area as they might want us to pay and come back in like 2 weeks which he doesn't really support. So he's suggesting Melina all through. I read somewhere here that melina is good for noggings. So my questions are. 1.Is it okay to use melina for all the roofing woods. 2. Its slate we are going to use for the roof will the melina be good for the extra weight of asbestos slate if we eventually do melina through. 3. Location is Lagos, Agbara axis. Though we still intend to ask around more at pakos around but please your opinions are highly appreciated. Thank you. |

Evening everyone please I am trying to fill the edividend mandate for my mum. I have been able to get some of the docs for the shares she bought back in 2006-2007. Is the e dividend mandate form all she needs to fill? The securities company she used in buying back then I don't even know if they are still existing. The shares have been lodged in CSCS, I have a printout from 2011. Some of the companies are not even existing anymore e.g oceanic bank and bank PHB Secondly I have some shares she bought for me back then but I have gotten married and changed my name legally. How do I go about changing this information so I can also fill the e dividend form with my new name. I also have a printout of the CSCS online showing the shares. I sent a mail to first registrars and they told me the requirements, but was wondering if all could be done at once instead of moving from one registrar to another. Thanks so much cc: emmasoft |

Good morning everyone please I just want to ask a question, someone said I should be massaging my baby's neck( you know that hole between the neck and the shoulder) that its not good for it to be completely covered with flesh O. I asked why no logical explanation that ermm cold,co vulsion. That I should be pressing the hole so it will be visible she even said it will pain the baby but I shouldnt mind, a 1 year plus baby. I even said the hole can never be blocked its still there just that the fleshier the baby the less visible it might be. You know when even in adults a slim person the hole is more prominent than someone who is a bit chubby same as babies which is the norm. I just said okay because I didn't believe or agree with the person, I don't think there's any logical reason to do that and I didn't want to argue. I have heared differnet things but this seems to be the strangest and I am not even a first time mum. Later on pressed mine and hubbys own the muscles there pained for a long while, my husband now said shey you see how painful it is so someone wants you to do that to a baby for no logical reason. Just curious has anybody heard of this before. Picture attached for illustration ( Google image) sugah Zaynie LadySarah All mamas

MummyD2020: I made this post in 2017 how they broke down the costs for us at Igando general so everybody pays it irrespective of the stage of delivery and you are given all the items it covers, they will even tell you in the delivery room that madam this is your delivery pack as they are opening the pack. The account dept peeps do explain in details on that Tuesday of registration, as at last year they still did maybe this coro season affected how they address mothers now
