The word of God is deep,it is only those who have greater knowledge of his word that enjoys it and it is through revelation.The word of God cannot be read literally or else it leads to boredom, hence it is Spiritual.Hebrews 4vs 12 " for the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two -edge sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I walked with two before I got a multinational company. The first will pay 15th of the following month.

While the second, I walked with him for just a month and two weeks. The first two weeks he paid and expected I do all my official assignments with the two weeks salary. The other one month salary he did not pay till today since April 2009.

Oh how I suffered then, I reside in ojuelegba then, I walked half way to cms cos I had only 50 naira on me.

I got to his office and begin to beg him to pay me that I don't have anything to eat. See allegations upon allegations, but that day he gave me 5k out of the 45k he was supposed to pay me. I came back and laid a curse on his business, that it will not flourish, this man was adamant.

After two years, something in me told me to visit the office and set his business free, I fought it for long and I finally obeyed my spirit, I went and behold, he became lean, they can't even on the AC, he was owing office rent of 18months, him and his business were opposite of what I left him.

I told him God said I should come and tell I have forgiven him and the money he should forget.

He was happy and I prayed for him and his business.

Hmmm, no man should owe another man for his or her God is not asleep.

Thank God you did the right thing, God really fought for you,( surely He is a God of recompense) .Imagine the innocent children he brought to the world would have been suffering for their father's sins. What a good write up!,most Nigerian men are guilty of most of the fashion faux pas listed here. The one that puts me off is putting on suit in a hot weather or putting a nylon shirt instead of a cotton shirt. Some of the reasons why people give these kind of response is because they feel God has disappointed them in the pass hence they seek 'comfort' elsewhere, some as a result of too much 'comfortability' the world is offering. Jesus Christ is a typical example of somebody who handled situations differently, He didn't allow problems , trials, betrayal, hypocrisy, to deter Him because He was in firm control, of all situations. To be in control of situation is to be mature through wisdom and which will make one to be incharge of situation when the need arises.

OP I really empathize with you, things like these happen in our churches every now and then,don't be discourage let God the God of vegeance fight for you,He is the only one who can vindicate you and that doesn't mean you should stop worshipping God, who knows with this 'Test' God is taking you to an higher ground. People are getting dissappointed with the leadership of the church nowadays,and is because most of these leaders are 'sleeping' rather than keeping their oil burning and being sensitive to the voice of The Holy Spirit.No wonder Jesus said "offences must surely come". I want to state here that those who continue to look up to their pastors as a yardstick for righteousness, Jesus Christ is the only Person you can look upto as a measurement for righteousness because He is the only One who is Infallible,Pastors are fallible hence they can fail or dissappoint, let us retrace our steps by going to the Author and the Finisher of our faith through studying His word and working in the Holy Spirit.

Am currently serving the nation in Jigawa state, one of the core northern state, in my short stay here, i've come to discover that the north has an unquestionable human advantage compared to the south, however, I stand to be corrected, 60 to 70% of the northern population are un productive, this is quite alarming.
Over 50% are stark illiterate (Mostly women) who cant even make a single sentence in pigeon english, talk less of pure english.
Emphasis on Arabic is high, you can easily find people who understand Arabic than people who understand english.
@Op, the problem of the north isn't some thing we can wish away. It's quite deep, most at times I pity their level of understanding.. In my own opinion, Religion, their political elite are the major problem of the North.
It can be fixed, if only they are willing to. Here a man can send his children to learn Arabic instead of sending them to a normal school. Even those in my school doesn't take school work seriously...

You have said it all.The Northern elites and their Religious leaders are the problem of the north, If the religious leaders had taken their stand against the insurgence of Boko Haram,Boko Haram would have been nipped in the bud by now.Ex- president Goodluck Jonathan spend Billions of Naira constructing Schools for the Alimajaries but all has gone down the drain,I guess there is a need for aggressive massive campaign by the elites to let the people know the importance and value of education.There is also the need to either reorientate the religious leaders that they should tolerate other tribes irrespective of their religion, ethnicity and language and that education is the best legacy they can ever have,this will go a long way in restructuring the north altogether.
