The reason is not far-fetch, the political class knows that if you give a man a fish he would cotinue to ask for more fish even if it means to sell his birthright,but if you teach him how to fish he will become independent. An average Nigerian worships money hence they prefer to eat from the crumbs that falls from the table rather than eat from the master's table. Although you won't blame him,the political class use the weapon of joblessness,poverty,ignorance,illiteracy to subjugate the lower class so that even when he is given his right the political class makes it look as if he is doing the poor man a favour.

I would cut the story short. Been married for 3 years and dated for 5. I caught my husband cheating twice in the marriage and forgave him. However i just realised today that he has been cheating on me since we got married, and says he has slept with over 60 people that he can count in 4 years, some of them repeatedly. He even confessed to lying to me that he had an official meeting in nigeria, but when to have orgy. there was no meeting. From what he said its like it was the moment he changed jobs and started making money that he started the cheating spree. which was shortly after our wedding. We have just 1 son together. In the light of this news, i have decided i want a divorce. I would say i am lucky to go this far without being hiv positive. This is a man that would be leading devotion every night lol. and be harassing me for wearing sleeveless to church. I thought he was a saint.
He has said he wants to change and work things out lol, however i have to think straight, as i know there is no change for this kind of problem. I have informed my parents and his, and to my surprise, they are telling me to stay...and ENDURE. I do not understand what kind of endurance. My parents have advised i sit down and start praying and fasting for him,, so God will turn him round. Also that for the sake of my sonI don't think devil has anything to do with this, just a selfish cheating man.

So please has any of you dealt with something like this before? I don't believe he will change. Has anyone stayed and it was bearable? do you think you made a mistake by staying? Has anyone left and regretted it for the sake of their children?

Op,don't tell me you didn't know he was a flirt while you were dating, I always say it that for anybody that lives contrary to the princple of marriage there are all ways a tell tale signs, for example a man who smokes before marriage will definitely smoke after marriage. I will advice you to stick to your parents advise to pray for him to have a change of heart, that is the bitter truth for now.

Very true, a lot of christians have been misled by this false doctrine by ' motivational speakers' who water down the messge to suit their purpose and their audience. Their messages has no life in them because it is not back by the power of the Holy Spirit that is why there is no fire and they can easily fall to error, No wonder Jesus Christ said the words that I speak are Spirit and Life,the Apostles also went out preaching with signs and wonders accompanying them.

The problem of the church started when satan stragetically brought in false doctrines , and when the church began to accomodate or accept wordly custom all in the name of being liberal,the church veered off into motivational talks rather deeper relationship with the Lord which was the grace that back the church,Apostle Peter and Paul warned the church about this but the church became complascent except the few left. We are in the end time, Jesus himself had predicted before He left that there is going to be a great falling away,and in the book of luke18vs8b" nevetheless when the Son of man comes,will he still find faith on earth. The only way the few "remnant" can salvage the "falling away" is to go on its knees to pray intensily for revival but prophecy must be fufilled because God's word will not fall to ground without being accomplished.Jesus is already at the door and it is only those who prepared and are watching that he will take away.

God doesn't fail.There are several reasons as to why it looks as if God fails.One of them is if you are still living sin, you have doubts and remember there is a waiting period .A lot of people think God is a robot that can be controlled He is not like that.He lives by princple and as long as that princple is compromised no matter how meciful He is He won't reversed His standard. Then if there is no sin, wait on Him believe me His blessings are the best and His blessings are worth waiting for.

When there are 11 Judas out of 12 disciples, then there is a problem with the leader and that church, but it is normal to have 1 Judas out of 12 disciples.
