How do you handle a close friend that copies everything you do. I mean, If i buy a brown bag today, she gets hers as well. I recently went on a vacation with the bf and now, she's talking about going there too. When she wanted to get into the same career field, I was there for her, advised her on schools and everything, but I'm getting uncomfortable.

Its so bad that I don't tell her what I plan to do with my hair. I showed her a picture of a hair style I wanted so she quickly went and did hers so I don't tell her nothing no more. I've not braided my hair in years. Now I have box braids on my hair, yesterday she mentioned that "she wouldn't mind braiding hers cos she likes the way it looks" I'm like, chile.....she tried it again!

Your friend is actually suffering from low self esteem.Some ladies are like that, even when they are not really your friends they copy styles, mode of dressing and mannerisms.The unfortunate thing with such people is they don't see it as a vice and if care is not taken it leads to envy, avarice, bitterness.However, you can still help her in your own way by subtly letting her know that she has to explore her own individuality because it is not every woman that has innate quality of being stylish.

The most shameful aspect of it all is that most Christians are sleeping spiritually they are not being sensitive to the voice of the HolySpirit and that was why the devil got grip of America all in the name of secularism.As christians we have allowed ourselves to be choked with the cares and worries of this world, we have left the word of God to be serving tables Acts6vs2 and I don't blame anybody if only the church leaders had done their assignment by teaching the true sound doctrine,but instead almost all of them had gone in the way of Balaam,they are building monuments for themselves rather than building the church hence the moral decadence. As Christians we are faced with two enemies i:e Secularism and False Religion, except we rise up by obeying God and praying fervently, it is also glaring that satan has open the gates of hell on Christians through sins,perversion and persecution because he knows his time is shorter than we think.

The lord should just have mercy on us who profess Jesus Christ the lord but our hearts are totally far away from him.We are not committed or dedicated to him in preaching and acting the gospel .Imagine thirteen people change the course of the world with the gospel of salvation. If only the church can go back to her first love.Anyway thanks be to God that despite the widespread of sin and false religion the gospel is being preached everywhere.Please let us pray for missionaries all over the world that God should give them the annointing to do more exploit for him and not to give up on faith because of trials, sin and persecutions.

It's not that i can't afford this thing but my mind just doesn't approve of it and that i should pray to God instead for deliverance. Even if you were offered all the verses in the bible it would still not work, except you are born again or truly save then the written words 'LOGOS' in the Bible becomes RHEMA i:e it speaks LIFE into that situation because it has become activated by the Holy Spirit. He noted the challenges of the democratic experiment and expressed optimism that all the initial hiccups would be confined to history soon.

Mark believes that despite its imperfections, democracy remains the best form of government that is not just representative but participatory.

He therefore enjoined Nigerians and the international community to support the new administration just as he implored them to build on the foundations of previous governments and make progress.

I agree with most of what you said but I must state that the grace of God teaches us to be sober, righteous and godly in this world.

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world" (Titus 2:11-12).

To be sober does not mean one have to look forlorn or downcast .To the best of my knowlege it means to be watchful and live our lives as if Christ is coming now,It means we have to be much more conscious of his imminent return and I don't have to look stern and stoic looking to be sober.

From the op's friend side of the story one can infer that her husband have been smoking weed for along time. reminded me of my former neighbour downstairs,the wife is christian infact the husband attend church more than the wife but as soon as she goes to work he and his friends will start smoking weed that everbody living in the whole house would know.
