AntiBalaka:I didn't want to mention it in my earlier post, but if you see the amount of quacks I worked with while handling payslips of Federal Staff for my Pension Organization you will marvel. Some begged me to fill form for them, some came with relatives to fill form for the , these are not retirees o, active staff. One that introduced himself as a principal in a federal secondary school, I was amazed. He couldn't even speak good English or write, I was wondering how this person can impact knowledge on our children. |
I have worked for a reputable Pension organization for the past 5 years I have visited thousands of Federal government staff and worked with their payslips as our clients. I want to categorically state that the IPPIS format is the best I worked with, it captures all the details of the worker. I found payslips of those under IPPIS easier to understand and track. I am not APC nor Buharist, I am a Nigerian and will support anything good that comes from Nigeria. The stance taken by ASUU is just to blackmail the government. They want autonomy so they can manipulate figures to suit themselves. Meanwhile IPPIS is just a payroll system it doesn't negate the fact that VC's handle recruitment. I also want to advice our government to properly educate our people on policies so that people don't use it for cheap blackmail. Jonathan fell victim with the fuel subsidy removal attempt only for years later people started calling for subsidy removal. I understand that government has to manage information that goes to the public so as not to cause panic, but it is counter productive to leave them in the dark always. God Bless Nigeria. |
Drink some alcohol u will be fine. |
Ok thanks for the advice. Xisnin: |
Forget the one that will go Viral, help the little one on the street that has not gone Viral and will not go viral. There lies the true blessings of God. |
Nice one, we now seeing the benefits of the border closure Nigerian manufacturers are now confident of selling their products to Nigerians, substandard foreign goods won't spoil their business. Nigerians should rally around the government and support the border closure, it will pay off eventually, remember that Rome was not built in a day. The change you want to see will force the government to make some stringent policies that will take time to pay off. I'm not a Buharist or APC, I am a Nigerian and I will support what is good for Nigeria. Border closure will grow our people, will employ our people, will strengthen our companies. The smuggling accusations to our neighbors is just an excuse so that AU and ECOWAS no go vex, even if they take all measures FG has told them to, the border will still be closed. |
How is Lagos, Ogun, Oyo part of South-South. You think anywhere apart from the North is South abi? Secondly what is the economic importance of spending trillions in a desert compared to business hub and oil rich South. Fariq: |
Let them leave, we have indigenous companies that will take over. Eg Belema Oil. sassysure: |
Very true Ofodirinwa: |
Itakpe-Warri is there so they can safely carry their steel. Fariq: |
What of River State, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and other South South states don't they deserve Standard Guage too. They just did Itakpe to Warri so they can link Ajakaota steel with the nearest Port so they can export and make more money for themselves. You use trillions of Naira to link Northern states so they can carry Agric produce, forgetting that moving oil safely is more beneficial to the country, it is only in Nigeria you will see trucks carrying fuel up an down. Civilized countries use trains. The whole North will farm for 5years and they won't make 1 trillion Naira. But oil will give u that in 6months. Fariq: |

Parents sometimes are fueling sibling rivalry without knowing it. When they become adults they hate themselves. The Bible predicted it will happen in the end times. But then God will always create an avenue for His people to be protected. How do we avoid it? |
Most families can relate with this, sibling rivalry occurs in most families atimes it starts at a very tender age and the grows and becomes more fierce as the kids grow. What can parents do to stop or limit it? Also people that are already not in talking terms with their sibling, what can they do to heal the broken relationship. After What Jonathan did to us, as a southerner I won't support that, let the Igbos or Yoruba rule. |
He is the President, we need international collaboration, Let's not criticize everything. I'm not a Buhari fan but haba if he doesn't travel who will. No other person can Forster billateral ties like the President of a country. Even if ministers go there, they will have to come back with a report that will need approval from the President, so it's better the President is there to sign sharp sharp. |
Bros, nothing tire me pass that one oo. Somebody will bring development to your land they will now be asking for matching-ground. Lazy ass mofo's. Anyways I still think the government can secure the area while the project still continues. No play with government power o. Atimes youth restiveness and community dispute is just the cue contractors need to embezzle the money and blame it on insecurity. omoharry: |
Yea, that is very true. Our south-south leaders are the most greedy, self serving, egocentric leaders in Nigeria. Truth be told, they go to Abuja claiming to represent their people, they collect the jobs, contracts and juicy positions then neglect the people. Eg Dakuku DG NIMASA,. Amaechi Transport Minister, All the Senators Representing South South. NDDC is a different story, NDDC is used to settle political chronies ooo, it is not meant for the people ooo. It is used to settle people like Akpabio who is present NDDC Minister because he lost election. How on Earth can Akpabio be probed I things dont go right. Positions in Nigeria are given to political chronies, technocrats and people with the know-how in public service, governance, public procurement and accountability are neglected. jansonn: |
Lol!!! Seriously, some countries have natural disasters to deal with, some have no natural resources, some have low population and pay people to come to their country, some have very little land mass. Nigeria has none of these issues, then we create disasters that only Nigerians can create. Like squandering $460million, Making Billions of Abacha loot disappear without infrastructure to show for the $Billions, getting tangled with fake companies in the P&ID case. For crying out loud Abacha loot can build a world class health center in every community in Nigeria. But Nigerian natural disaster has happened to the money. pocohantas: |
Who are they arresting for the $460million CCTV contract scam in Abuja. |
Bros e for sweet to join another continent Sha. Anything to try and save this country. Anyways I fully understand your point. niaralandtopuser: |
No train in the South-south where all the money is coming from. Which way Nigeria. Come and see Federal roads in the south-south you will weep. Gaping holes in the middle of the road. Causing chronic loss of man hours thereby hampering smooth flow of goods and services, which negatively affects the economy. But this is the only part of the country that gives the oil money to build railways and roads in other parts of the country. |
Nigeria is destroyed at state level. Governor's act like they are running their personal business when governing their states, when a state government doles out millions of naira as gift to person's and institutions how do they defend that in budget allocation. There should be legislation to mandate governor's to significantly grow their IGR or forfeit their federal allocation. Federal government gives you money to pay salaries , then you turn around and say you cant pay salaries. After diverting the funds to white elephant projects that only enrich your cronies. Spare a thought for Nigeria. It's only a Nigerian that will be in his country and still be classified as an IDP (internally displaced person) |
Can Nigeria leave Africa? Maybe that will solve our problem. This African mentality is bad for us. #NIGEXIT |
Buhari the Marketer. |
Border closure is a good thing, we have the population to supply our goods to, we must utilize our population, China did it and it benefitted them because of their population. No need to even listen to the other countries, all they care about is themselves and their business they have been exploiting Nigeria's loose border for donkey years. I'm not really a fan of Buhari because he has neglected the south-south and chanelled Millions of dollars to areas that are not profit table to the whole Nigeria not least the "RUGA" project. Education, Health care, Infrastructure, security upgrade should be top agenda for any serious Nigerian govt. |
