This is where you can make use of php includes.

Let me break it down as simple as I possibly can, under this hot sun.

<div id="container">

    <div id="header"></div>

    <div id="navigation_bar">
<ul>
<li><a href="?page=home">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="?page=contact">Contact</a></li>
<li><a href="?page=services">Services</a></li>
<ul>
    </div>

    <div id="content">
    <?php
        //if the get request carries "home" as value
       if($_GET['page']=="home"wink{
            include('pages/home.php');
        }

        //if the get request carries "contact" as value
       elseif($_GET['page']=="contact"wink{
            include('pages/contact.php');
        }

       //if the get request carries "services" as value
       elseif($_GET['page']=="services"wink{
            include('pages/services.php');
        }

        //if there is not get page request, that means the url was just typed then it should be the homepage that should display. by default this will be the page to be displayed
        else{
            include('pages/home.php');
        }

    ?>
    </div>

</div>

The above will work based on the following assupmtions.
1. the files contact.php, home.php and services.php are in a child directory of the index page called "pages"
2. You have put all the dynamic content of the home page in home.php
3. You have put all the dynamic content for the contact page in contact.php
4. You have put all the dynamic content for the services page in services.php
4. You have a fair knowledge of PHP
5. You run your project on a local web server. Personally I use WAMP.

In place of the if/else collabo, you can use the switch/case collabo also.

Hello, uptime is guaranteed. And your site will be fine as long as it is run in accordance with the terms of service.

Please click here to see the Terms of Service. Be sure to agree to this before going on with the other.

Click here to place an order for the Alpha package (approx. 48 usd per year)
Please choose Liberty Reserve as your payment method during the order.

The uptime guarantee:
All the servers are located in differrent locations in Germany under one Datacenter. All servers running on WHM/cPanel are backed up daily and weekly to a second partition on the same RAID architecture. These backups are also backed up daily and weekly to a different servers. You do not have to worry about server loads during these backup phases as I have ensured all backups are incremental using rsync.
So, in the event of a hardware failure or Natural disaster in an area it will take at most 4 hours to get everyone on the affected server back online. We have not had any major crash in the past but we are aware that web servers crash everyday so we know we can get hit anytime.
Inasmuch as measures and counter measures have been put in place, you are still required to keep your own back ups.
WebmastersRe: © Copyright by DualCore1: 11:19pm On Nov 17, 2010
The humble copyright notice is always useful to show in the footer, as a way of stating your claim over a site. Interestingly, however, it is not required for you to have copyright over the graphics, content and artwork of your site. This comes into place as soon as you’ve created the content and placed it in the public domain. Placing a copyright notice is still advisable to deter potential plagiarists and stake your claim.

WebmastersRe: Software Enginneering Or Developing by DualCore1: 7:18pm On Nov 17, 2010
If you pay attention to names you go just dey on a long thing. A Gateman can call himself a Security Officer.

I cant help you with those names, I can only tell you as I know it. There's the designer, the programmer and the engineer. How or where developer fits in, I do not know. You should look for the article Donpuzo posted here about the difference in these fields.
WebmastersRe: Software Enginneering Or Developing by DualCore1: 7:09pm On Nov 17, 2010
Programmers, designers, lawyers all work with Software Engineers to reach a common goal, a solution.

The Software Engineer takes on the project right from the first stage (requirement gathering) of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to the last stage (maintenance). The programmer comes in in the Coding, testing & debugging and maintenance phases.

WebmastersRe: Multilingual Website Development by DualCore1: 12:26pm On Nov 16, 2010
I don't see anything wrong in using a third party service (the way it was meant to be used) to achieve a goal. Its like the SquirrelMail or whatever webmail client anyone is running on, would the fact that users are redirected to a squirrelmail login interface mean the site is unprofessional?

You can either use the GT as an API or use GT to translate blocks of text and fix them up the way Yawa's first post suggested. By personal preference, I will use GT the latter way.

Donpuzo, say shalom to all your babes b4 your "exit".
and how good is the google translator for websites?
Its a good tool, it goes beyond transliteration. The official language of the Datacenter I use for my servers is German. There's a "status" page which reports status of all the Datacenters and that page is in German language. With Google Translator(GT), I get the full info on that page and the sense is not lost.

If you intend to use GT, I think its good practice to keep your sentences short and made up of simple English. As long as the sentences are not kosovorical you wont have much problems with GT.
