About two weeks ago, I saw the newest one "The Hobbits", and it was good.

Hobbits mighta been a good movie but at the end of the whole thing, I just felt something was missing. I felt this queer emptiness. Dunno why, probably I was likening it too much to Lord of the rings.

ItsModella: I mean the same Hollywood "Inception" everyone praises. I definitely wouldn't put it on my list of crappy Hollywood movies but it wasn't as brilliant as people had made it seem. The main thing that makes a movie great for me is the sort of emotional impact it has on me; whether laughter or fear, pure thrill or just something to reflect on. Pretty much the story has to have the capacity to maintain my attention for 2 hours and make me not to stop talking about how good it was. Inception didn't leave me with much, I was just like "meh, another overrated movie." The movie just sort of tried too hard to be critical and thought provoking. I watch a lot of thought provoking movies but this one just was not for me. There were too many plot holes and a lot of boring conversations. I'm a movie freak, I know a good movie when I see one, I also know an awesome movie when I see one and Inception doesn't count as awesome.

I think I get what you are saying.
Am crasy bout movies and pitiably I seldom do nollywood. For me, I first of all see the movies as entertainment and a work of art, so no matter what the storyline is, I try to put my self if the prevalent mood at the time of movie creation. I try to see the thought pattern and so basically I judge the attempt at what ever. This is pretty easy for me cos am a dreamer myself. It even gets better when the storyline dwells on issues that are not everyday event. Wierd/crasy fiction if you like. At the end of the day what matters is weather or not I was entertained.
Did you see that movie (can't recall the name) where they bend bullets ? Did you like it.
When am watching these movies, am kinda somewhere in the plot, running, shooting, ducking and all of that. I liked the wierd thought behind the making of inception.

P Square: these guys are talented and as long as they stay focused and get their act together not giving mediocre performances, I think they will survive.

D Banj: I used to love d'banj. My love for him started fading as soon as he dropped the mouth organ. He seemed to regard it as a boys' thing and no longer necessary for his newly acquired status . In doing this, he failed to consider the view of his fans whose view should be held in high regard. I only hope he has a trick up his sleeve. He is a good performer but at the rate he is going, i fear he may not make it.

whiz kid: he is just a boy and am yet to see anything on which to base my analysis. Though I know that kid artists are usually talented but I'ld rather not predict.i wish him all the very best though.

Bovi (Comedian): Since the rave of every comedian claiming waffi began, this is one guy I see that truly has it in him.to me, he does not even have to put in any effort.just being himself gets the job done. I think its raw talent and if he develops it further, he may survive it.

Omotola: She is at that stage where she really doesn't have to do much to keep sailing. She just needs to keep playing the role of a model to our young ladies and making useful inputs in the industry. I think she'll go another ten years if she wants to.
Basket Mouth: Looking at him I see how hard he has to work to be basket mouth and as long as he keeps working hard and hard work keeps paying, he is good.
