I don't understand why young people are always in a hurry, particularly when it comes to making money via their profession. The industrial training period is exactly what it says, industrial training. In other countries, are you aware that they don't even pay students during IT? Why not just focus and learn all you can during this period. Remember, the knowledge you gain now can still come in useful to you in the future. Just calm down and learn. |
Abeg CBN should not say they are not aware there are two brothers of the same parents running the bank now; so how is what is going to happen if this continues different from what has happened before? Hypocrites! |
skymorbabs:Please have you gotten a feedback on getting a medical invite from Canada? Just got my visa today and already 36 weeks, I've been talking to a doctor in Hamilton, Ontario (where my sister lives) but i'm starting to think its too late. Response from canadian embassy took 3 months; i hadnt envisaged it taking that long, so now i have about 3 days to plan a trip. I currently have about 8k USD; and would be staying with my sister. I just need some advise ASAP.....i dont want to risk the airline turning me back (although Delta airlines just says i should get a doctor's report which i can) or getting turned back at immigration in Canada.. |
bimbofela:Got a notification today that my visa was ready, luckily i had all of my documents for pick up. Visa granted till Dec 2016 (which is how long my passport is valid till). My kids got 2 years each cos their passports expire in 2017. Good luck to everyone else. |

Does anyone else have any updates this week? I wrote to them again last week Wednesday and got a response on Thursday saying they were reviewing applications received on the 9th of June 2015. @bimbofela, any news yet? bimbofela: |

bimbofela:Have you heard from them yet? I submitted on the 18th of June....i've never seen this kind of embassy before ooooo....is it gold they are giving? I'veeven written them twice, the last time I wrote was on the 23rd of July and they said they were still attending to applicants from the 20th of May, can you imagine! |
This Canadian visa issue.......submitted applications since 19th of June, still no response......now i'm seeing people who have submitted even before then not getting responses yet. why is it taking so long?? |
Hello peeps, new on this thread, i've read up on all of the posts though, but i have a few questions....(please pardon me if it appears that i'm asking questions that have already being answered) So, i'm five months pregnant, awaiting a response from the US embassy on my application (renewal). My sister lives in Canada (Hamilton, Ontario) and i want to go put to bed at the hospital there. I've already been in touch with the dr. and he's asked that i bring all of my medical information when coming in. However, how soon after having the baby would i be able to come back to Nigeria (in terms of getting the baby's passport and all)? I have two kids already and can't afford to leave them for too long or take them along (as they are fairly older and need to be in school). Also, for my Canadian visa application, is there somewhere i can indicate i'm pregnant or would I be asked at the point of entry? Thanks all.....kindly respond. |
Honestly, this mata is paining me.It is amazing that in this day and age you would CHOOSE to reason this way. Whatever anyone decides to wear is entirely up to him/her. If it makes u uncomfortable, avert your eyes. If you are worried about it influencing others(children), then train them they way you want them to dress. I will not however accept that another human should dictate what i can or cannot wear; i think that is one of the things within my control. |
and i am sure that if you find out, they did worse in their days o!!!! |
I dont understand how people just open their mouths and talk poo....are the women wearing the clothes on their bodies? If you have men that cannot handle the way some women choose to dress, then that should be your problem, why make it everyone else's? If you don't like the way they dress, close your damn eyes!!mscewwwww. |
davades: Only yesterday she received my first slap...ladies can annoying at times. We never talk since thenSavage |
bukatyne: With the modifications, your post just made sense. The OP specifically referred to women; besides, if my dream is to have a happy home (as a woman/wife/mother) as against a successful career, does that make me any less an individual? |
The truth is as a woman, you have a right to determine what your priorities are; would you be happier if your husband/family is happier? If that means making some sacrifices along the way, then that's fine. You can't always have what you want all of the time |
Who is this learner saying women cannot drive?? O boy, i'm sure i have been driving since before you knew how to start a car . |
As several people have posted before me, "get a soil test done". Its the result of the test that would inform what kind of foundation can be built on the land. |
Only 10yrs? Is that what a life is worth in Nigeria? ![]() |
Paedophile!!! |
Babe.....if you are uncomfortable with being fat, why don't you do something about it? I started being this way a few years back after my second child but decided to change the way i look by eating right and exercising. A man who does not respect you while you are fat will probably treat you no differently while you are slim; if he does, it should re-affirm your belief that he is only interested in sex. Change your lifestyle and loose some weight; while you're at it, loose the man too!! |
My guy.......abeg go and change note to small denominations na......abi to give you the money na by force?? ![]() |
Try Neutrogena Moisture Wrap Daily Repair Lotion; works like magic ![]() |
Patience Hippopotamus Jonathan don hammer Lol!!! |
@Aleovera, pls dont mind my rambling, it is important for you to remove yourself from where ever the married guy is; delete his bb profile from ur fone, number from your whatsapp, facebook, any and everything that may remind you of him if you r truly serious about ending this (if it hasnt ended yet o). It's good that you have opted to take the time off your relationship; it will allow you focus better on yourself and what you truly want out of life (learn to be happy with just been by yourself). |
I think it is important for us not to judge; I have a friend who once cheated on her boyfriend while they were dating, but eventually got married to him. I saw her recently and she seemed very happy with her life, has two kids with the guy she married. My point is everyone DOES have a moment of insanity; the issue then becomes, do we act it out? Some people are more morally inclined than others and strongly believe that there would always be future implications for engaging in things like that. The truth is it all takes the grace of God; so know matter how judgmental or "holy" you think you are, it is important to put these things in perspective, it is all by God's grace. So let he who thinks he stands, take heed lest he falls. |
well, if u consider the costs involved, in the long run, it may be worth it; provided u can afford to build a house in Lekki complete with a generator that works 24hrs, u can also afford to send ur kids to Lekki British International school or its equivalent. First of all, u need to map out your plan; are u planning to set up your own business or to work for private companies/individuals? Remember for doctors and the likes, there's nothing like NHS that employs are larger chunk of the medical profession; Reddington hospital can only afford to employ so many!! ![]() But seriously, remember that working in Nigeria would mean less time for the family as u would probably need to dedicate more time to ur job to show ur employer that u r irreplaceable!! but honestly, i still prefer Nigeria to the UK, the issue of taxes is probably the most vexing of all, working like a monkey, but getting nothing that is substantial i return. As another option, @ poster, have u considered Canada? that seems to be the new US, quite a number of my family and friends who have either lived or worked in the UK and US for a large part of their lives seem to be getting really good offers in Canada, u could explore that as well. Antways, wish u the best whatever decision u make!! |
@ poster, is it really worth it? After the fantastic intimacy. and the initial adrenalin of being with someone new wears off, do u think she'll feel the same way about you, or you about her? Look for other ways to resolve any issues with your wife, spend a little more time with her and try to find out y u fell in love with your wife in the first place, i'm sure if u focused your energies more on working on the issues you have with your wife, u will find less time to fool around with the homebreaker! |
what criteria is used to ascertain the eligibility or otherwise of the candidates? They should approach me, I promise to bring change ![]() |
I wonder why the officials all appear to be so shocked, they probably all know who was "put in charge" of monitoring the money; I can assure everyone that the investigation will end with the query that was sent, probably only sent because they haven't received their own share of the loot , Nigeria we hail thee ![]() |
wait first, all the ladies that are yabbing her, don't u wear weaves? all the guys inclusive, don't ur sistas and wives and g/friends wear weaves?abeg leave the girl jare!!i applaud her going in public like this, i'm sure she culd have afforded to do the hair, but wanted people to see her natural side, way to go jare!!she still looks good!! |
erasokafor:i'm sure there's some kind of fraud involved in that, |
