All those dodgy premiership refs, still trust the boys to overcome them. 2 yellow cards to us and we are the team who has an injured player?
why don't they come up with their physical and commitment play BS when our players commit fouls.

If they are playing in your senior team already, then there is no hope for Chelsea's future apart from Kakuta and perhaps Jack Cork who is on loan to Burnley. It was U17 boys from Arsenal academy that massacred them when they played and Borini, Kakuta and Matic were there. I can get you the match reports if you want.

That is our new stadium, highbury was full of trophies and we have enof time to turn it around, can't say the same for the liverpudians though? they don't have a new stadium to celebrate, can't declare profit, haven't won the PL in recent history, dropping out of the top 4 e.t.c What a tale of woes.

FIFA MVP at U17 level remember even our own dear Mikel who was Silver boot winner at U20 level has not turned into the world beater we all thought he would become (mind you Cesc also played in the same tournament and won no awards). Phillip Osondu, Wilson Oruma, Freddy Adu, Odartey Lamptey, Sinama Pongolle and Le Tallec of France, the list goes on and on of those who won such awards at young ages but never amounted to much.

You can hide behind the fact that we are not as informed with what goes on in Germany as we are with what goes on in britain so we can all remember reading about Theo's exploits at under age level but Schweinsteiger was no spring chicken when he joined Bayern, that is a fact, he was 14 and most certainly a very precocious lad.

Bayern has done nothing more than quickly move for the cream of the crop in their early teens as Manure and other big clubs in England used to do prior to the FA changing the rules (afterall, what parent wouldn't want their children to play for such world renowned teams).

The English FA closed the domestic door but left the international door open and Arsene has used it to get the best youth into our academy at 16 and above, give the man some credit and stop belly aching about those who didn't make it at Arsenal, I'm sure there are as many who don't make it from Bayern's academy only that we don't hear about them because we are not much interested in the bumblesliga anyway.

Can't recall the name, and the german language is not my favorite anyway but it was an U14 youth tournament he played in while he was a youth player with "TSV 1860 Rosenheim" and where Bayern Munich scouts actually spotted him. It used to be on his wiki page which has since been modified. I'll search it up and confirm it later if yu're so particular about it.

are we talking about levels of discovery now or what exactly? cos if we go into that level of detail then you can simply summarise that everyone was discovered by their parents at home or maybe their sports teachers in school. 
I've already explained to you the various levels at which players are discovered previously, yu simply like to make non existent points? any player U18 is still a large gamble for any club, there is a very good reason why Barcelona allowed Cesc Fabregas to go even after he won MVP at U17 level while Manure splashed the cash for Rooney at 18+.

I wonder why you keep on bringing Rooney, CR7 and even El-phenomeno into the picture cos all these players were all above 18 before they were bought. Rooney was already by far England's best player in Euro 2004 so I don't see the comparison with Cesc as an U17 MVP.

There are a good number of players in the Arsenal academy who had first team appearances for their clubs prior to joining Arsenal and are presently still playing in the U18s for Arsenal, you cannot convince me or any other sane person that Arsenal has no part to play in the development of those players.

The point I'm making is simple, talent spotters are all over the place and the roughest of gems can be found anywhere, only in very rare instances like Wilshere whom you mention can a club say they've developed a player from under 10 to become a world beater, if you dig into Cesc's history you might find that he was also spotted from somewhere before getting into the Barca youth setup.

The setup in Germany makes it easy to pick those talents in their early teens, even you when referring to the Manure talents mentioned only a certain generation which had been in development prior to the rule on young players being enacted in England (haven't you for once asked yourself why Fergie has not produced another set?) why exactly is he also looking out for talent on the continent and beyond like Arsenal?

Schweinsteger had also won youth tournaments at the national level in Germany before he joined Bayern like Theo had in the UK when he joined us.
If you take any player under the age of 18, you are still gambling on that player's talent simple.

Go and read up Beckham's history, he had to play at Tottenham and some other clubs till he signed for Manure at 16, his whole family are fanatical Manure supporters and he had decided he was going no where else.

Getting newspaper hype and making it at the top level are 2 different things as Theo's recent bad press has shown. Cesc was MVP at U17 level but was not considered impressive enough to be held on to at Barcelona so that says something.
Luke Freeman had appeared for Gillingham in League 1 at the age of 15 but has been in our U18s for the past 2 years, if he makes it into our team in the next few years yu'll then come and tell me he was already made before joining us I think
Stop bending your own rules, if you consider Schweinsteiger as your product then anyone of all those players we got under 18 can be claimed by Gooners as our own youth products.

Sauron don't mind DK, all those guys he claims also didn't start out from Bayern's academy. Schweinsteiger joined their academy at 14 after winning a high profile youth tournament with his previous team, David Alaba had appeared 5 times for Austria Vienna's reserve team before moving to Bayern.

Also in Germany, they are not limited in the distance a kid has to live from the academy he attends like we have in the UK and that is why Bayern can always cream off the talent early from the smaller clubs in their vicinity.
If he claims all those players, then he has no moral standing to say that the likes of Cesc, Clichy, Song and co are not our academy products.

We've had this argument before but DK is comfortable acting like a donkey when it suits him.
He is also comfortable manipulating the age of the players when they joined, Theo was 16 and Ramsey 17 when he joined.

The cut off age is 18, even though I also don't like to claim players like Aaron Ramsey cos we payed so much for him and he had already appeared in the FA cup for Cardiff.
