Upfront though, we need to pray RVP and Bendtner come back quick. My short term solution though is a guy Ive been screaming about for months now - JET! That guy is simply magnificient (at least for the level we have put him). He needs more first team games. In the game against Braga for instance, he could have come in for Chamakh after we had gone 5 goals up. Same thing against Blackpool and Bolton. When I watch him play for the reserves, he always looks like an 'agbaya' to me (he is just 19) cos he seems to be far better than everyone on the field. You guys should go see his goal against ManCity reserves. Outta this world! and he had a cheeky celebration to go with it. That guy needs top class games.

I second you totally on your analysis, but one thing I've noticed about Arsene is that he sorts of phases player's progression to the first team and he doesn't want to have too many on the fringes of the first team at the same time. Last season was Ramsey (a pity with the injury) and this season seems to be Wilshere. I'm not sure if he sees it as a test of the player's character also but those who have made noise about not being fast tracked quickly enough have usually gotten sold (Bentley) while some bloom late (Flamini) and some don't make it despite all the opportunity they are given(Hoyte, Aliadere).

I think for JET to get into the first team as things stand now, one of Bendtner, RVP or Chamakh would have to go. I personally think its Nic who will get the chop and I think JET will go out on loan yet again this season but if he has a stormer while away (like he did with Doncaster last season and I expect him to anywhere he goes) then Arsene will have no choice than make a place for him next season because it will be yet another Brilliant "English" player on our books.

It wouldn't be an issue for me if some of our own fans don't join them, its all well and good to be unconvinced by this or that player or even the whole team as a whole but to not be able to enjoy it when your club has a night like arsenal had yesterday in Europe and all you can do is wait for them to come unstuck in their next game is more than taking the piss. That is why they are called the AAA (Anti Arsenal Arsenal) fans.
I mean, I expect DK, Jalether and co to act exactly this way and it is good for banter but I do not expect it from anyone who calls himself an arsenal fan, I mean why are you a fan if you can't enjoy your team's performances? it is totally confusing.

Jack definitely has goals in him, he only needs to grow into it. I always touted his qualities on here, yu never see anything, the boy is still growing and honestly I can't presently say who was better at this age between him and Fabregas, other teams should be scared we have him and Ramsey at such ages, none of them is even 20 yet. Just imagine how long that MF can dominate the PL if Scholes and Giggs are still doing it for Manure.

The 2 holding MFs also seems to be working so far (Song and Wilshere who shows an unbelievable tactical discipline for his age).

One player that also seems to make it work is Chamakh, brilliant and hardworking player, he helps keep the ball in the opponent's half definitely a class above Bendtner with his touch as the ball always seems to somehow bounce off him unlike Chamakh who is still able to link up well with the MF while under pressure, its obvious now that the 2 main elements that make our system work is the big man who can hold and link play upfront along with 2 AMs when Theo isn't playing or 2 WFs  and an AM when he is, new found defensive balance with 2 holding MFs. As long as we can rotate well as we're doing now to keep our players fresh we should be able to keep this up all season provided injuries don't stack up.

I have very high hopes for this season.

That is what you get with Arsenal fans, always in a hurry to judge a player, bloke has only had how many games now? and his mistakes havent exactly been howlers. Having said that though, I think Squillaci edges it a bit for me as Verm's partner, he oozes confidence and has that air of experience about him. in 2 games I've seen him now he seems to be better defensively than Kos as he keeps things very simple with much assurance, I'll be watching with interest who Arsene makes Verm's 1st choice partner.

[/quote]Interesting view point Kay but I wonder maybe he is usually there to make these so called mistakes because he has a good nose for danger, my assessment of Koscielny has been that he will make few mistakes but when he does, they will usually be costly ones, still a damned good defender nevertheless. For someone still in adaptation he is doing quite well.

That 2nd paragraph you might want to delete very quickly, I'm guessing you wrote it before the blitz that came in the 2nd half. 
Theo's pace will always be an asset but I think its impact is overrated particularly when its not matched with spot on decision making(thats a personal viewpoint before A-40 raises hell). For example I believe Adam Johnson deserves that RW role in the 3 lions ahead of him at present because despite not having Theo's pace, he seems to get more results on the pitch than Theo, but Oga Fabio thinks otherwise so there must be something both he and Arsene see in Theo that I don't see.

That is not really a fair assessment Folly, even though he hasn't had much of shooting opportunities, he's given good balls to others like Arshavin today, he's just a selfless guy.

Chamakh Attack, that is why we got him.

Koscielny will get stick for that header but it was quite a difficult one under pressure from Elmander, could have even been an own goal.

Communication issues in the defence, not unusual for a new CB pairing, that shouldn't ever happen again but nice ball over the top from Bolton.

Why is Arshavin losin opportunities like this now? Wilshere is looking so matured in MF.

Whether they do or not, to me the tide has turned and this Manure team will start to wane from here on, Messrs Giggs and Scholes can only help them for so long, age is sure to catch up with them soon and very soon.

honestly,i dont even regard djorou as a player anymore. Dude has the height to be our main CB,but he just has refused to grow. This is where talent comes in, if u dont have it,u just dont have it. I hope some offer comes for him.

He is another very frustrating player, massive monster of a man with decent pace but can't just seem to apply his mind adequately. I was thinking he could become our own Vidic at the back but the boy no just gree. Anyway, as always with Wenger, dem don dey line up behind am already, if he doesn't sort it out between this season and next don't be surprised at an early exit.

Why are both teams packing the MF? I can understand Everton usually plays that way but Manure dey fear? a drab game beckons but with Everton and Manure, you never know.

I've moved on to Djorou since Theo has improved, if Djorou is not careful he might not have a future at Arsenal, infact as things stand now I see no reason why he should be ahead of Nordtveit, it is very worrying if at 23 years and this much experience with us and out on loan, Squillaci came in and immediately got ahead of him in the pecking order without any competition whatsoever. Djorou was practically shambolic against Blackburn in the reserve game and still largely suffers from a very suspect concentration, he seems to be at the stage Diaby was about 2 seasons back.

I hope he can learn from Koscielny and Squillaci who seem to be masters of concentration.

Early introduction for Squillaci, he looked alright against Blackburn in the Reserves Djorou was responsible for 2 out of the 3 goals we conceeded. He should be fine, its looking like a totally new CB pairing for us tomorrow then, when last did we see that?

With Bendtner, Theo and RVP out long term its time for Chamakh, Arsha, Vela and JET to show us what they have got. They will be supported by our AM’s Rosicky, Nasri & Wilshire, really looking forward to JET over the coming weeks I think a new Arsenal & England star is about to be born….

No problem IMHO. On the plus side Nasri & Denilson are back in midfield, while Squillaci came through his reserves debut where he was outmuscling Jason Roberts. Yes it is true a Arsenal player outmuscled Jason Roberts!!
